Poor story telling I'm afraid, with the director not fully understanding his responsibility in exploring what should at least be plausable natural human responses and reactions in these otherwise frightening scenarios. Many plot lines and side storey explorations would of best been cut and left out, jumpy time lines with poorly explained loose ends that suddenly meet again, terrible fight choreography, who advised the military scenes?....Terribly unrealistic, soldiers and special forces do not move well at all, and yet theres a mum who suddenly went from family doctor to bloody rambo overnight. The series dwells too long in boring character development and pointless relationship building to flesh out the storey almost as if the end would otherwise be reached too soon.
Missed opportunities with massive alien ships not explored, not enough core Sci fi.
Leaves you feeling like a lot of effort invested for not enough quality Sci fi gratification.
At one point I thought I was watching the A team and colnol decker was gonna pop out.
With that though I'm interested to see how it all ends lol. Like a bad advert you have to keep watching!
