Panchayat (2020)
Master piece
Panchayat tells the story of an engineer graduate who joins a small village, Phulera, in the Bilai district of Uttar Pradesh as a secretary of a panchayat office and in the process re-discovers the grass root issues in the village like frequent power cuts, unorganized office, dowry, family planning etc. What follows next is the measure taken up by him to improve the quality of life in the village.
Created by #TVF (#PermanentRoommates, #TVFPitchers, #KotaFactory), produced by #AmazonPrimeStudio and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, Panchayat absorbs you right from the very first episode when Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar) joins the offices and begins to observe the life, habits and behavior of the village folks. Panchayat has shades of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Swades where a NRI comes back to India in search of his nanny, identifies the problem and finds the solution. The only difference is that Panchayat focuses on the granular level at the various aspect of a village life.
The direction is impressive handling many sequences with perfection. The scene where Abhishek Tripathi finds out the real mystery behind the haunted tree is hilarious, the wedding scene where the groom shows attitude at the Panchayat office, the fight between Abhishek Tripathi and his team with the local boys at the Fakauli market will bring down the house, the chemisstry between Neena Gupta and Raghuvir Yadav is outstanding. Technically, the cinematography capturing the beautiful locales of an Indian village while Art Direction is simple yet powerful. Dialogues are punching while background score goes well with all the 8 episodes.
Gopala Gopala (2015)
Master piece
Victory Venkatesh is apt in his role of an atheist, and carries off a mature character quite convincingly. The way he has performed in all the courtroom scenes is quite good. He brings in a lot of simplicity to the film, and all his scenes with Pawan Kalyan have been designed exceptionally well. Yet another major highlight and best part of the film is Pawan Kalyan's character. He is simply awesome as Lord Krishna, and carries the entire second half on his shoulders. Pawan brings in an emotional effect and all the dialogues that he mouths are well written and thought provoking. He has played his character with a lot of ease and is especially good in all the combination scenes with Venkatesh. Pawan & Venkatesh actions are good. Maybe screenplay is lightly bad. All is well. Pa wan rocks in Theaters.... Thanks.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022)
Master piece proud to be an Indian
First and foremost I didn't even know about Nambi Narayanan until movie was announced. What a shame. We need to seriously look at what we have been learning at schools and academics.
This movie is a must watch for all Indians to know how a true patriotic has been stripped off all the achievements just on the basis of fake case. Madhvan is absolute brilliant and honest with his performance and so does the supporting cast. They have tried to inculcate all the major happenings of his life and journey and the setback.
Kudos to entire team who have a winner in their hand. This movie should be encouraged and youth should get inspired to serve the country. Had Nambi sir didn't face those fake cases he would have been enjoying the same reputation as Dr Kalam.
A man who is no less than a James Bond and did all this for the country and its people. Hail Nambi Sir!
