Really wanted to like this show.
GREAT cast, good acting/direction, strong premise.
AWFUL writing. At one point I tried counting how many sexist comment/lame jokes/sexist microaggressions were in one episode and I gave up, too many. What is really bad about this part is that the jokes and the sexism aren't even nuanced, character-driven, or funny. The jokes aren't thoughtful. They sound like boys teasing boys... but like 20 years ago ... (examples: what woman would "insult" her colleague by calling him a "male secretary" or a "lady"?)
Also, don't need to resolve emotional lives of the characters in the first episodes of a a series. The will they won't they dance should be waaaaayyyyy more drawn out.
