Want Goofiness and Scares - See It
This is one wacked out movie. Never seen anything like it. Weird - unpredictable and has a twist that will make stupid people think it's cheap BUT if you have a brain for tongue-in-cheek, you will GET IT!! Hoorah to the people who put out something different and not the same old same old.

More to a Book Than its Cover??
Wow! What a great VHS cover. Problem is...it got my hopes up so I was only disappointed even more when I began actually watching the movie. I am sorry that this movie was so hard to watch, because I really want to see independent film flourish. We must all learn to hire actors who have experience and who can present their lines without it sounding like they are being fed to them off camera. The editing is harsh, the scene set ups are boring and the story...well, nuff said. I am glad they got it sold and hope they can make even more movies with the cash they get off this one. But...please, we low-budget filmmakers must be careful not to make movies that are not top notch. Get input on scripts, hire professionals in every position and remember, if your sound quality sucks...people will not like it.
Knight Chills (2001)
Appreciation of Effort and movie-making without GORE!
I do not need to see the blood, the gore, the splatter. I am intrigued by the shadow, the sound of quiet, the suspense. If you want hack n' slash, watch a movie like the "swed" prefers. If you want to really see something different that doesn't rely on tons of corn syrup and food coloring, then enjoy Knight Chills. It was apparently made by thinkers - for thinkers. This is not your everyday gross out film. It is for those who have been misunderstood, those who feel persecuted - those who enjoy a good fantasy. Gore horror has its place - because KC does not rely on it - should not, and does not make it any less of a film. I liken it to the original 1965 "The Haunting" with its use of light and dark and suspense. As far as low-budget horror goes - this could be a classic.
