The Terminal List (2022)
Good action, bad message
A good Rambo-type action series which I'm all for. But the message that it was ok to kill anyone, including those not on the list but unfortunately near-by, glorifies revenge and tries to make the main character out to be a hero. To me, everyone in the series (other than his family) we're bad, especially Reese. You have to suspend your sense of reality, but I'm ok with. Just don't think he's in any way a hero.
The Final Year (2017)
Makes one miss what we once had
A reminder of what a president should be, intelligent, self effacing, honest, and someone we can all be proud of. How far we have fallen since he left office. Once a great country, our leadership is ridiculed around the world. And to this day, the world wonders how slightly less than half of America can still support the most corrupt president in our lifetime
Mother! (2017)
Perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen
How, just how, did they get all these good actors to be a part of such garbage.
Disaster Movie (2008)
So bad it made me angry
Now, I can tolerate a bad movie, and even thought Epic Movie had some merit.
But dear god, this is simply horrible. We had free passes, but I still wanted a refund for the 1 1/2 hours of my life that I lost. I've never walked out of a movie, but it took everything we could muster to stay in our seats. We thought that something funny must happen. I mean, come on, there's lots of fodder out there in the disaster movie genre.
It doesn't stay true to spoofing Disaster Movies (High School Musical? well OK, maybe that is a disaster). It doesn't go far enough (ie R rating with nudity, language, etc) to be funny in an adult way (like the classic Kentucky Fried Movie).
This may be the first movie that Carmen Electra can honestly say that she is the best actress in a movie. Of course, she's in it less than 5 minutes and pretty much just stands there, not showing off her best assets.
The ranking as the all time worst movie on IMDb is well deserved.
