Big Hero 6 (2014)

One of Disney's best in years

I have been a lifelong Disney fan, and make a habit to see any new releases from Disney. After hearing many positive things about Big Hero 6, I was eager to see it. However, I tend to proceed with caution on many new Disney movies because I know that the quality will likely not be on par with the classics. This movie proved to be an exception.

I found all of the characters in this movie to be wonderful and well-developed, even the supporting characters. Hands down, Hiro, Tadashi, and Baymax are the most memorable, and the watching the film will make you become attached to these characters. Only Disney could cause you to feel attached to a robot, and they hit that nail on the head.

The storyline is very unique and original, even though it is loosely based off of the "Big Hero 6" comic from Marvel. The many plot twists will leave you wondering what is yet to come. In addition, this movie highlights the struggles of overcoming grief from the loss of a loved one. As this is something that many viewers have experienced, you will probably find yourself feeling emotional and will be able to relate to the feelings of most of the characters (especially Hiro).

Big Hero 6 brings us back to the magic that many recent Disney films have been lacking. This movie is definitely not just for little kids. I'm 19 years old and loved this movie, and my parents AND grandparents greatly enjoyed this movie as well. I hope Disney learns from the success of this movie and continues to produce wonderful films. It is perfect for the whole family to enjoy!

Phineas and Ferb (2007–2024)

The best Disney show in years!!!!!!

When I first heard about the show, my first thought was "Oh great, another Disney Channel show that will probably be as bad as Hannah Montana or Wizards of Waverly Place." I figured it wouldn't be good. It turned out that I was wrong....

I only had to watch one episode to make me think "Wow, I'm impressed. This is actually pretty good." It is cute, clever, and funny. If I had to choose between this show and the news, I'd watch this show. If I had to choose between Hannah Montana and the news, There is a 99% chance I'd watch the news. Thats how good of a Disney show it is.

I also noticed one thing in the show that I didn't notice in any other Disney Channel show. I have never heard ANY "hidden inappropriate lines" in any episode. It is a great show for any age, whether if your 1 or 101.

For those of you who haven't seen it and think its bad, watch it. You won't regret it.

Wild Hogs (2007)

LMAO!!!!!! So funny!!!!!

First of all, this movie was about 5 times funnier than I expected. second, I almost peed myself 2 or 3 times watching this movie, as well as nearly crying near the end, and third, the acting was great. When I first saw previews for this movie, I knew I HAD to see it. The ad is funny itself. I could NOT stop laughing! It's probably one of my top 5 movies I've seen. I would have given it a 10 but I was getting sick of all the swearing about 2/3 of the way through the movie. It's a great movie for kids 11 or over, and my grandparents were even lol. Funniest movie in the whole world. The funniest (maybe even best) movie of 2007!!!

The Color of Friendship (2000 TV Movie)

One of the best DCOMs I've seen

This is an excellent movie. It is probably in my top 3 DCOMs I've watched. I watched it one day because there was nothing else on. After about 5 minutes, I was hooked and couldn't stop watching. The characters acted like real characters, and I can easily tell what's happening during the time it takes place, since I've spent a lot of time learning about it in school. The acting is also excellent. I love to watch Piper an Mahree become closer in their friendship. I wasn't able to see the ending, but I can tell that the ending will be good like the rest of the movie. The older Disney Channel Movies like this one are really good.

High School Musical 2 (2007 TV Movie)

disappointed

I had seen the first, and I thought it was good, but not the best. I was so excited to see the second, and I was disappointed after seeing it. It is boring, lame, and cheesy. Some of the acting was bad, too. I thought the characters changed a lot too. The music was TERRIBLE, The singing did not sound like them, and there was no meaning in them, unlike the first where the music was good. I also am annoyed with all the High School Musical stuff in stores and the fact that Disney has so many events that have to do with High School Musical on T.V. There is no point in seeing it, and there was no point in the movie whatsoever. Don't watch it, even if you like the first. Trust me, you'll be disappointed too.
