College (2008)
College
I am usually a horror/sci-fi type of movie guy, so this film is a little out of my genre. However, I agreed to see it with my son, a second year college student, and we both very much enjoyed it. I think he obviously connected with it a little more than I, but I still got a kick out of it. Now, I shamefully have never scene most of the legendary college movies of this genre like: PCU, or Animal House, so I do not have much material to compare it to. But coming in with a clean slate I have to say that this movie was pretty "cool". My son really enjoyed it also and says he needs to come see it again and bring his "buddies". To sum, a great time was had by all and everyone in the very full theater was roaring with laughter. Two thumbs up.

Ubelievable -
It is unbelievable that this all really happened! You couldn't write a better story than this. Doctor turned "hippie on the road". To have 9 kids in itself is very out of the ordinary (I guess not as much back then, but still)and how they choose to raise these kids is down right unheard of! I can't get over the dialog of the wife saying that for 10 straight years she was either pregnant or breast feeding! Ten straight years! That is amazing. This family explains one mind blowing thing after another and they speak of it as if it's not strange at all. Which is of course because to them it is not strange, it is their life. I am so glad this family chose to document this amazing story of theirs.

Good Show
Kudos to the makers and all involved in the making of this film. I enjoyed the atypical way the story was told.
The leading lady, Asia Argento, has a few too many lovers and is tangled up in her own mess. All the while one of her lover's wives is playing the game behind the scenes making things very suspenseful and interesting. The film itself I could categorize as "artsy" even though it's a thriller.
I don't recommend this film for the uptight viewer, but those with open minds will enjoy it. Through and through a good show! The DVD is out on June 10th I believe so those of you who missed it in the theaters can pick it up soon!
The Signal (2007)
Awesome show
Bravo! I don't see why this film isn't getting more credit????? It was amazing. They did a perfect job of making a horror genre film with out getting cheesy and cliché.
They also stayed outside the lines by telling the story from 3 different angles which was really cool. I've never seen anything quite like it, that is a true accomplishment. The cast was fantastic and was able to make the audience really feel their fear as well as their love for each other.
As I said, Bravo! Two thumbs way up, blah blah blah.........great movie!
