This movie is simply one of the best movies ever made, animated or not. I know that some anime fans hate this movie saying that it is overrated and that "Akira" is a much better movie, but I don't agree with that. Don't misunderstood me, "Akira" is a excellent movie, is just that "Mononoke Hime" is a completely different anime, and the style, story and characters made by Miyazaki are quite different of the ones created by Otomo. Unlike many animated films, that are aimed to children, "Mononoke Hime" is a epic story, filled with elements of tragedy, adventure and heroism, and all beautifully told by one of the masters of the animation that is Miyazaki. Every single frame of this movie has a unique beauty, and all the characters, humans or animals are very likable and interesting. This movie isn't overrated. It deserves all the praise that it receives, and I think that every fan of the animated genre should see this, at least once in his life.

the best of both worlds

When I was a kid, I loved all the classic animated films made by Disney. I think that those movies were some of the best animated movies of the history, but I never thought that all those movies could be combined so well with characters from the great game "Final Fantasy VII" Created by Tetsuya Nomura, the director of "Final Fantasy: Advent Children", this game has very good graphics, a funny and original history, and very likable characters. Even when this game is aimed to children, some parts of the story could seem somewhat dark, but Nomura was very respectful with all the personalities of the classic characters of Disney. The voice acting was very good, either in English or Japanese, and even when it is aimed to children, I think that everyone could enjoy the story of this game. I highly recommend it.

Quite possibly the worst excuse of an anime ever created

I love anime, but this show is absolutely awful. There is absolutely no single good thing about this show. It is hard to believe that this show was created by the great Go Nagai, creator of very good shows as "Mazinger Z" "Cutey Honey" or "Devilman". Basically, the plot is a cheap rip-off of "Devilman", but without any of the good elements of that series: "Demon Lord Dante" looks as a primitive version of that show, with bland characters, a horrible voice acting (either in Japanese, English or Spanish) horrible and monotone music, and possibly the worst animation I ever saw. The designs are ugly and the characters almost doesn't move. All the dialog is corny and stupid. This show is a complete waste of time. I would give this a zero if I could. If you want good anime, go watch "Evangelion" "Akira" or the real Devilman instead of this worthless show.

Great anime series

"Kights of the Zodiac" or "Saint Seiya" is one of my favorite anime shows. The animation was very well made for the time it was made, the story made was very interesting, filed with references to the mythology, and excellent characters. The character designs made by Shingo Araki are very stylish, and improve the original designs made by Masami Kurumada (creator of "Bt'x") The history was filled with adventure, drama and action, and one of the best things besides the excellent animation and the story was the music, that suits very well with the atmosphere of the different arc of the series( Specially the music of the Asegard saga, inspired in the Norse mythology) Too bad that the English dubbing of this series wasn't so good as the original (They made a lot of horrible changes, add too much censorship, and changed the music and the original names)No wonder why "Saint Seiya" wasn't so popular as in other countries. However, this show was amazing.Try to see the original version, which deserves all the good reviews.
