The Batman (2022)
Batman became a more of a Crime movie
As a big fan of batman series I'm must confess I really like the realistic touch that the bad guys are getting in general, with Pinguin and Ridler showing up as humans instead of monsters with superpowers.
But also, I must confess I'm a bit disappointed with the direction this Batman is taking.
Batman is a 'creature of the shadows' who avoids getting attention and will approach the vilains in a smart way, combining smart tech with precision and efficiency. A veteran in planning and preparedness.
This batman is parading and in the center of attention all the time, with constant slow walks to make sure everybody get an eye on him. In the action scenes/fights he chooses going by the front door and fighting gangs with bare fists only - No stealth, no intelligent tactics or gadgets, just use of brute force as if it was the first and only choice. Was not only his known intelligence, and detective skills that were nerfed when compared to the other movies or animated series, but also the equipment and car. Character development was inexistent.
After this negative paragraph, I should end with something Positive - The actors made a good job and should be an interesting movie for crime movie lovers, not so much for action movie lovers.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Good Ones (2021)
No comedy, just a political resume of the last year and so
Feels that this episode was written by politicians in campaign rather than comediants. And I do agree with all their positions, is just that was not for this that we watched the series...
At the end of the episode I realised that I didn't laught one single time. There was not a single good joke, even with Terry and Boyle trying.
Love Wedding Repeat (2020)
Hard to go through
I had to stop watching 2 times. The situations the characters got themselves into were frustratingly avoidable so the whole plot was just frustrating.
