Abbie Cornish let the film down.

The film had lots of potential but in the end was not perfect. There were strong characters in the real life drama. In most cases the actors were excellent and very convincing. One of the important characters is the award winning BBC journalist Kate Adie. Unfortunately Abbie Cornish did not have a convincing accent and did not portray Adie in the correct standing. It was a chance to highlight Kate Adie's groundbreaking journalist work for British TV. Unfortunately Abbie Cornish's casting spoiled the film for me.

Brilliant

This proves not only Polanski is a genius but also there is a reason for it. This film is a masterpiece intended to show us that there is always hope. This is an amazing story that came to life through an autobiography of a war survivor. I am in awe that there are still many more true stories out there from this period that will be lost forever. I rated this film 10.

Well made jaunt, well worth seeing,

Nice drama with good acting. The story is a little far fetched at some points but I like to "escape" now & again so I forgive. The Mini Minor makes a welcome comeback to car chasing. (Jason Bourne seems not to worry that the owner warns the car pulls slightly to the right...then he pulls it every way a Mini was not meant to be driven).

I think it could have been 20 minutes shorter but never mind. This is a cliff-hanger well worth watching. I rate it 8 out of 10.
