This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I thought that everything was very well put together, like the screenplay, camera direction, etc. Wil Wheaton is my favorite actor and I think he done an amazing job in this film. I think that they picked the perfect actors for each part. The dramatic music in it was very cool and creepy. It reminded me of some cheesy horror film. The script I think was also very good and so was the direction. The first 15 minutes isn't exactly PG but after you get passed that it could be a good movie for young teens. Especially if there wasn't so much cussing. It really makes you decide how far you would go to keep a secret for a friend. Definitely recommend to anybody who is going through a tough time with a friend or anybody who likes a deep dramatic film. 10/10

I watched this movie for the 1st time yesterday.. I thought that it was a pretty good movie, but no one can dis-regard the fact that it is a classic 80's cheesy horror movie... having that said I must admit that I did love the movie though. There were parts where you could tell it was fake, then other times things looked real. I think that it is something that if you get the chance to watch it, you should, but I'm sure tons of other people disagree with me. It wasn't Wil's best. I think Wil done just fine in the movie, I just think that everything else could have been better like the camera direction and the special effects and stuff. All-in-all, if you want to scare your younger relative, make them watch this movie.

These kinda movies just don't get the credit they deserve. This is my 2nd all time favorite movie, (Stand By Me being 1st.) The reason I watched this movie was because Wil Wheaton was in it and he is my most favorite person in the whole world and I think he done an amazing job in this movie and so did Sean Astin. I just watched it last night actually and it just amazed me. Everything in the movie is very exceptional. The script, the acting, the screenplay. I was on the edge of my seat 80% of the time, and if my mom wasn't in the room I would have absolutely balled whenever Joey Trotta (Wil Wheaton) died. I did not see that coming!! At all!! I was real surprised when I heard that it wasn't real popular back in the 90's. I was born a few years after it came out so, of course, I didn't go see it in the theaters, but im sure I would have if I would have been alive. If any of my friends watched this, they would be like, "uhh okay?" but thats just cause their not cool enough to appreciate work like this. If you haven't seen this movie, or are wanting to watch something that is the bomb, this is the movie for you to watch.

These kinda movies come along very rarely. This is my personal all-time favorite movie. The actors are very talented, especially Wil Wheaton (Gordie) and River Phoenix (Chris) who are my 2 favorite actors. It is based on a Stephen King novella called "The Body" and I have read the book and it was fantastic also. The script was put together very well and they done very good on the screen play. All of the actors were very young whenever they shot this and they all showed extreme maturity. I think a lot of people can relate to this movie because it cuts so deep into the heart. I wish that I could have a best friend like Gordie had Chris and Chris had Gordie. Yeah, I have a best friend, but we aren't "best" best friends... If you have not seen this movie you need to go out and find it because im sure that this movie will change your life like it did mine.
