The Interview (II) (2014)
10/10
Seen it for realz,,, one of very few people to actually have seen this
21 December 2014
Yes, I saw this movie. It was in October and I'm not technically even allowed to talk about. I saw an unfinished version that was screened at my theater. I had to give input and write down things about the movie I liked and didn't like and if anything was too offensive, then I handed my report back to some Sony execs after the movie. It may be just another dumb comedy, but its a classic Rogan/Franco masterpiece. I'm dying to see it again. I'm sure the version I saw was so so unfinished that the final product will be even better, which I don't know how is possible because I couldn't of asked for a better version. As soon as this movie becomes available, I'm going to jump at the chance to see it again. I wanted to give this 10 stars back in October. And right before I wrote this review I saw 20,000 people had already given it 10 stars. I highly doubt even half of those actually saw it like I did. But I am happy it garnered so much controversy and awareness, and it definitely deserves those 10 stars hands down. Whenever it does get released, it's going to explode onto the scene like few movies have ever done before.

Mike Tyson Mysteries (2014–2020)
10/10
Nostalgic and Innovative
12 November 2014
The animation here is great throwback style like you'd see from Johnny Quest, Sealab 2020, Scooby Doo, and other somewhat outdated Cartoon Network stuff. However, this attributes to the shows greatness, as it's done classically yet in a contemporary fashion. As a plot seemingly appears into the third episode, I am becoming more and more drawn to the show and it's backgroundless characters. Mike Tyson is a doof, but ultimately comes off as a slapstick genius, occasionally beating helpless and innocent people often times fatally usually over a simple miscommunication, misunderstanding, or just stupidity and yet the balance of justice remains in his favor as he continues his metaphysical quest to solve the ultimate mystery. It's not just slapstick though, if fact, it's not a majority of the much much humor found within the witty word play and throwback references, as well as the dark black humor of the pigeon, who is played so perfectly by Norm McDonald. Over all you kind find several good pauses of silence, followed by a delayed bursting out of laughter. The best thing exhibited in this show however is the voice work. Jim Rash, Norm McDonald, and Mike Tyson are a triple threat. And props to Rachel Ramras who thankfully grounds the show to reality by being one of the most sensible and at the same time sarcastically humorous that winds oft winds up being a kick in the funny bone.

Supernatural: Fan Fiction (2014)
Season 10, Episode 5

One Thing Really Bothered Me
11 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Great episode, tremendously clever episode, and the supporting roles were perfect. I couldn't of asked for anything more. Well, actually, there's no cliff hanger here, this could have been the end of the series and I don't think it would have bothered any one, because it certainly didn't bother Sam or Dean that a certain some one is just left hanging and not a shred of concern is shown between either brother, which is weird because the certain some one left hanging is also their brother. I would have thought that would have been a good reminder that, hey, maybe they should do something about that kid, like, I don't know, try to save him? I can only hope that arch will appear in this season, otherwise, I would begin to question Sam and Dean's loyalty to family and their "perceived" moral obligation to save people. IF a plot with Adam is eventually revisited, I would be happy to give this episode a perfect rating. As for now, I remain wary of the next story arch that has yet to make itself visibly apparent.

The Amazing World of Gumball: The Remote (2012)
Season 2, Episode 1
10/10
Good show but...
7 November 2014
This is one of the best episodes of any animation I've ever bore witness to. This episode in particular went above and beyond and it feels like it didn't even try very hard to do so. Easily the funniest, and one of the best animated 24 minutes Cartoon Network has ever broadcasted on air. I hope this show stays in their line up for a long time. The Remote episode is a shining example of the broad cleverness that caters to all ages among the many many CN shows that attempt the same in writing and character development. The visual prowess of their audience is perfectly aligned with the images they portray in order to add not only the necessary, but the superfluous humor found in between and in the middle of the punch lines. Good show, this episode has made me a fan for life.
