Shining Girls (2022)
enjoying this
Only watched 4 episodes so far
but very thrilling & suspenseful
i want to see more coverage of the young black women murdered by the serial killer, its rare for color lines to have been crossed back in the 60s & 70s
waiting with baited breath for the rest of this grreat show.
Mail Order Murder: Arlington's Missing Brides (2014)
$250
This girls family was receiving $250 a month with her dowry, thats a small fortune to them, they probably were angrier at her then him. To bad there was no way to find out about all the other previous wives.
Mail Order Murder: The Mafia Connection (2014)
just wow
I am astonished at how much criminal activity is involved in mail order brides. These women (many are arab , ethiopians, & other countries not normally mentioned), are involved in sex trafficking, narcotics sales, gun running & most americans are not aware. What is most telling about this Scott character is the way he treated his mother...what as a**hole no wonder he needed to order a wife. The so called mob expert should have a hit out on him for blaming the mob for the murder, lol. Instead of inventing conspiracy theories about russian mob hits, both him and his mother would have been better served living in Alaska somewhere bc both of them look like alligator luggage being in that florida sun
Budz House (2011)
whats the problem?
I see so many bad ratings for this film(among others in this genre) and I think its a great movie! Comedys like Pawn Shop, Love for Sale and Something like a Business are the only venues helping comedians get on the map. If this type of storyline is not your cup of tea simply keep it moving, don't spoil it for others who might enjoy it but for the lousy assessment. I found it to be down to earth and witty. B movies like this are so underrated. Wesley Jonathon(Sweetness in Roll Bounce) was very entertaining, Lunell was hilarious. It was cast pretty well and I would watch it again. By the way, this is my very first review for IMDb and when i see other good films like this faltering in ratings I'll be there to give them a leg up too.
