Summerslam (2003 TV Special)
9/10
Summerslam 2003
19 September 2009
This is and always will be one of my all time favorite WWE PPV's.

The opening contest featured 21 time World Tag Team Champions The Dudleyz going head to head with La Resistance this was a very good opening match to start off Summerslam 2003 The next match featured fan favorite The Undertaker going head to head with his rival A-Train i thought this was a great match up featuring 2 of WWE's biggest men.

One of the greatest battles of the PPV was this very match where United States Champion Eddie Guerrero took on Tajiri,Chris Benoit and Rhyno in what i still call one of the greatest United States title matches in WWE history.Incredible match Guerrero retains after a Frog Splash on Tajiri.

The next intense and personal match featured WWE Co-Owner Shane McMahon facing off against Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff. I thought this was a completely entertaining match up,especially when Steve Austin showed up.

The next match featured WWE Champion Kurt Angle defending his title against the master of the F-5. This was an outstanding contest until Kurt Angle retained his title when Lesnar tapped out to the ankle lock.

The next No Holds Barred match featured Rob Van Dam going head to head with former partner Kane who recently went crazy after unmasking in front of the entire WWE universe. This was a very good match, but sadly at the end Kane delivered a tombstone to RVD on the steel steps and picked up the win.

The main event was one of the greatest Elimination Chambers i have ever seen where current World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defending the god, against Shawn Michaels,Chris Jericho,Kevin Nash,Randy Orton and GOLDBERG!!!!But the major disappointment was Triple H retaining the gold after a sledgehammer shot on Goldberg. After the match Evolution ambushed Goldberg sending a message to Goldberg.

One Night Stand 2007 was possibly the most extreme PPV in history not as good as Aprils Wrestlemania 23 or February's No Way Out though.

CM Punk,Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman defeated Elijah Burke,Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker in a 6 Man Tables Match - 7:18 - 8/10

Matt and Jeff Hardy def Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas in a tag team ladder match to retain the World Tag Team titles. Best match of the night - 17:17 - 10/10

Mark Henry defeated Kane in a lumberjack match. Worst match of the night - 09:07 - 5/10

Bobby Lashley defeated Mr McMahon w/Shane McMahon and Umaga in a Handicap Street Fight to win the ECW title. An excellent championship title match - 12:23 - 9/10

Edge defeated Batista in a Steel Cage match to retain the World Heavyweight title. The best steel cage match i've ever seen - 15:39 - 9/10

WWE Judgment Day (2002 TV Special)
8/10
Judgement Day 2002
8 August 2009
Judgement Day 2002 was a good Pay-Per-View but nothing compared to Wrestlemania XVIII.

The opening contest featured Intercontinental Champion Eddie Guerrero defending the gold against Rob Van Dam, this was an awesome match which showed a great opening.

In the second match Trish Stratus faced off against Stacy Keibler in an average match to retain the Womens Championship.

The Next match featured Brock Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman going head-to-head with Matt and Jeff Hardy in a boring tag team match where Lesnar did all the work as Lesnar picked up the win for him and Heyman.

Next Stone Cold Steve Austin went to war with Ric Flair and Big Show in an exciting match which ended in Austin picking up the victory.

The next match for the WWE Tag Team titles featured the champions Billy and Chuck facing off against Rikishi and his mystery partner Rico,a dull and short match with nothing special at all.

The next match was a fantastic hair vs hair match between Kurt Angle and his opponent Edge, this was definitely the greatest match of the night.

In the next match rivals Triple H and Chris Jericho faced off in a Hell In A Cell Match. There wasn't much you couldn't see in other Hell In A Cell matches.

The main event was a Survivor Series 1991 rematch the WWE Champion Hulk Hogan defending his gold against The Undertaker,a fairly good match with a horrible ending though.

Here are the ratings: 1)Rob Van Dam vs Eddie Guerrero - 9/10 2)Trish Stratus vs Stacy Keibler - 6/10 3)Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman vs The Hardys - 5/10 4)Steve Austin vs Ric Flair and Big Show - 8/10 5)Kurt Angle vs Edge - 10/10 6)Triple H vs Chris Jericho - 7/10 7)Rikishi and Rico vs Billy and Chuck - 4/10 8)Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan - 7/10

Overall Rating - 8/10

WWE Backlash (2003 TV Special)
9/10
One of the best PPV's of 2003
7 August 2009
Backlash 2003 was all set around Goldberg and The Rock who had had recent brawls 3 weeks before this very PPV.

The opening match featured Los Guerrero's looking to capture tag team gold against The Worlds Greatest Tag Team,it was a fantastic Tag Team Match and definitely one of the greatest matches of the night.

The next contest featuring Sean O' Haire accompanied with Roddy Piper who had insulted O' Haires opponent Rikishi this was the worst match of the night only lasting 6 minutes with O'Haire using a death valley driver to pick up the impressive yet boring win.

The next massive World Tag Team title match featured current champions Rob Van Dam and his partner Kane squaring off against The Dudley Boyz with the odds against RVD and Kane. This match was exciting all the way but not the best of the night.

Now to the first title match for the Womens title featuring the Champion Trish Stratus and her opponent Jazz accompanied by Theodore Long. This was a one-on-one rematch from Wrestlemania, not so good though.

The Next match featured the much smaller Rey Mysterio facing off against the MUCH larger Big Show, the match quickly took it's pace.Around 4 minutes after the match started it was Big Show who stepped out the winner, after the match was the worst bit Big Show carried a helpless Mysterio who at the time was on a stretcher was slammed straight into the ring post.

The next 6 Man Tag Match featured 6 former World Champions the first team of Booker T, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash against team 2 Triple H,Ric Flair and Chris Jericho. The match quickly took action as all 6 superstars got involved as fast as they could at the end Triple H (shockingly) pinned Kevin Nash after a pedigree.

The last title match of the night featured 2 major rivals going head to head, it was the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar putting his gold on the line against the challenger John Cena. The match went on for around 25 minutes until Brock Lesnar hit the F5 to get the win and retain his covenant title.

The main event featured 2 of the most intense superstars to ever set foot in the WWE ring The Rock and his all power opponent.....GOLDBERG!!!! This highly anticipated match took to the action quickly but around 25 minutes later Goldberg hit 2 spears to pick up the win and his WWE debut match.

Wrestlemania 25........The Greatest Wrestlemania ever!!!!!!
6 August 2009
This year the grandest stage of them all (Wrestlemania) went to Houston, Texas where the most classic Wrestlemania in history took place. The opening match was the Money In The Bank Ladder Match which featured Mark Henry,Kane,Christian,CM Punk,Finlay,Shelton Benjamin and MVP, definitely one of the highlights of the night when CM Punk stepped out the winner for the 2nd time. The next match featuring Intercontinental Champion JBL and the No.1 Contender Rey Mysterio, before Mysterio could even warm up JBL leveled Mysterio with a giant boot. Everyone thought it was over, but it wasn't Mysterio got up hit the 619 and splashed JBL to pick up the 21 second win and his first Intercontinental title win. After the shocking victory JBL grabbed a mic. and said the shocking and rare words.......'I QUIT!!!!'.The next contest was an intense contest between former WWE champion Jeff Hardy and his brother and former ECW Champion Matt Hardy which started 3 months earlier at the Royal Rumble. The contest wasted little time in brutal violence as both men quickly took it to the EXTREME....with tables, ladders, chairs (OH MY) both brother punished each other until Matt Hardy hit a twist of fate with Jeff tangled in a steel chair to pick up the win. Next was the 3-on-1 handicap match between Y2J(Chris Jericho) and Jimmy Snuka, Roddy Piper and Ricky Steamboat, the match started with the legends ripping Y2J apart but Piper and Snuka were quickly eliminated for the match then it was Steamboats time to shine. As he hit a huge combination of moves involving a cross body, DDT, missile dropkick and several suplexes. Minutes later Y2J hit a codebreaker and picked up the win.The next contest was 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels looking to end the 16-0 streak of THE UNDERTAKER who at that time had never been able to beat Shawn Michaels one-on-one. Both men entered the ring and pushed each other to the limit Taker' powered out of several submissions and hit Michaels with several blows all over the body Michaels did whatever he could to avoid Taker' but nothing worked. The action intensified as Taker' leaped out of the ring onto his neck giving Michaels some momentum Taker' hit a last ride and a tombstone but Michaels shockingly kicked out,Taker' then caught Michaels in mid - air and hit a 2nd Tombstone for the win.The World title match a triple threat match featuring Edge, John Cena and THE BIG SHOW! All 3 men immediately took each other to the limit with everything in there arsenal but at the end Cena FU'ed both men at once to pick up a huge win and his 2nd World Heavyweight Title. The next and final contest featured a match 5 years in the making with 2 former friends and partners WWE Champion Triple H and the No.1 Contender Randy Orton in a completely personal rivalry. The match started unusually with Orton hitting the RKO and Triple H hitting the Pedigree, Triple H and Orton quickly took each other to the limit. Minutes later Triple H hit Orton with a punt and then a quick Pedigree to win and retain his WWE Championship.
