Shanghai Fortress (2019)

Nowhere near as bad as the negative reviews would have you believe.

After reading some of the 3 or 4 star reviews I had to see how bad this movie was. I was pleasantly surprised, it's not a half bad movie. I only found one instance where I thought the cgi was a bit naff. The love story, eh, I could live with or without it. The plot, kind of Independence Day esc, the back story goes by pretty fast, blink and you'll miss it. I honestly can't see what the hate for this movie is all about.

Good filler episode Terrible music

Have loved this series so far, this happens to be one of the slower episodes but still pretty good. It diverges from the book a bit. But by the gods, the improv jazz is truly terrible, it almost makes the episode unwatchable.
