Angel: The Magic Bullet (2003)
About the blood
This is not as much a review as it is a theory.
I did the same thing on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode 'Halloween'
A lot of people have noticed that in this episode, when Angel and Fred touch Jasmine's blood, they need to see her before they see what she truly is! However, Gunn, Wesley and Lorne just know right after they are given the blood.
Here's my theory: Angel and Fred got the blood from Jasmine, but Gunn, Wesley and Lorne got it from Cordy. Cordy already knew the identity of Jasmine, because Jasmine was controlling her. That would explain why they knew immediately.
About the episode: This is a great episode. It has Fred as it's main character, which is a cool change.
And it's funny Angel once again sings Mandy, even if it is a slightly different version
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Halloween (1997)
About the vampire-in-the-kitchen
This is not as much a review as it is a theory.
Many haven complaint/noticed that halfway through this episode a vampire enters the Summers' residence without being invited.
I have two theories that might explain this: say he was a guy dressed as a vampire, and he was at some point in Buffy's life invited to her house (to study for instance) Then now, he would be able to enter the house, since he had been invited at some point.
The other theory is less logical, but it's a nice thought: It's widely know that, in the series at least, when a person dies, or does not live in a house anymore, vampires can enter the house without having to follow the invite-rule.
Now, what if Joyce left the house for Halloween, dressed in some kind of costume, then she would have turned into the costume. This would make her someone else, and therefor, the house would belong to nobody, and the vampire would be able to enter.
That's the two theories I came up with.
About the Episode: I like this episode, it's very funny. The first time I saw it, I completely loved it, but it doesn't hold up after a few screenings. Now, I still think it's a good episode, but it could have been more...
