I wish I had this film when I was young

Aesthetically pleasing film that portrays anxiety in a way I've never seen on film before. Teenaged me could have used this film, thank you to Kelly Oxford for helping the next generation.

Season Two stoke my heart

I listened to season one absentmindedly as I played on my phone some weekend, which is probably how I missed out on the amazing writing of Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Season 2 popped up in my queue and I fell in love (as did a few .. entire nations, basically; with the Hot Priest). You'll get it when you get it. (Rewatching S1 & actually paying attention was great also.)

Home Before Dark (2020– )

Surprised me! Enthralling with good messages

I was shocked that I loved this so much (35, no kids, not often reeled in by children's stories/leads). This was a refreshing & unique story with a ton of positive undertones for the next generation (ex the future is female, ADA LGBTQ & POC representation, prison-industrial complex & on).. I marathoned it all in one sitting. Highly recommended quarantine content.

Flack (2019–2021)

Phenomenal acting by Anna Paquin

No clue why I didn't hear about this gem of a show until I was corona-scrolling in desperation at 3am. Did you like season 2 of fleabag? Or that show where Benedict Cumberbatch is a messy addict? Then watch this. You're in the right genre. This show deserves a much higher rating. Cheers to addiction.
