This is hands down the absolute worst movie I have EVER seen in my entire life. I can't even fathom how the other person that reviewed this could possibly have anything good to say. I went into this expecting a short, bloody, funny, cheesy, horror film with some entertaining blood and guts. What I got instead can be described as "Stephen King's IT: The after school special. If the horrible acting in the first 10 minutes doesn't convince you this movie is the worst thing you'll ever watch... just wait. Honestly, I think this movie would entertain a 3 year old, and they would not be scared. Pitiful and just God awful. Please save yourself and do not watch this video. It has nothing to offer. NOT funny, NOT scary, NOT Gory, zip, zilch, nada, Nothing, The end.

The Other Guy. Honestly, I thought the trailer was pretty weak. But, I am a person that strongly believes "never trust a trailer". And, that is very much the case here. First, and foremost, I love Will Ferrell. Stepbrothers is one of the top funniest movies of all time in my book. Secondly, if you asked me if I liked Mark Wahlberg... I would say ,I wouldn't ever bring up that I liked him as an actor, but I don't really dislike him. In this movie, I feel like he was over-acting. Comedy just isn't Wahlberg's thing. OK, now to the movie. Will Ferrel really shines and delivers his brand of humor in this movie. What can I say? It is a really funny movie. There is a ton of hilarious dialogue, and some really good one-liners. The action is actually that of a high end action movie. You get a lot of laughs and some action. There are a few spots where it lags a little, but I would not pass up seeing this movie. Definitely worth the watch, and funny.

First off, this is a dark comedy, if a comedy at all. The comedy is very subtle and underlining. Its very anti-climatic, however kept my attention for the most part somehow. It is one of those movies about life, where you are just kind of looking in on someone else's life. Ben Stiller plays a recovering drug addict, who is going through a new phase of life. The supporting cast doesn't have a huge impact on the movie, and there is no major plot going on. The movie just sort of floats on. I would only suggest this movie to a select few, definitely not for a mainstream audience, which is probably why I hadn't heard of it till I passed it in Blockbuster. I probably would not watch this movie again, and didn't walk away with anything meaningful. But, it was a decent movie.

WHY DID I NOT FALL ASLEEP? I was pretty excited when I saw the trailer to this movie. The trailer to this film makes it seem that there may be a degree of action or murder. If I have learned one thing through my movie career... good trailers can often lead to crap films. There is not one single moment of action in this film. If you are looking for an action or suspense movie, this is neither. The writing was not impressive, and you feel lost throughout most of the film. I am a fan of most of the actors in this movie, but the plot just doesn't let their reputations or characteristics shine whatsoever. An epicly God awful ending. Waste of my time. All I can do is tell you, not a damn thing happens in this movie. It all leads up to nothing.

Wow Peter Jackson... I'm really disappointed. I'm also extremely disappointed in the IMDb users. Everyone that scored and reviewed this movie must have been 13 year old girls. Because only a 13 year old girl could have liked any moment in this movie. It had my attention for a little while, because I was trying to be interested in it. It peaks out early and drags and drags on for what seems like an eternity. They needed to cut at least 45 minutes out of this movie. There is a lot of meaningless side plots that are irrelevant. There are a few decent cool computer graphics throughout, but most of the "dreamworld" sequences are overcome by the cheesiness of the childish dialogue. NOT A MOVIE FOR ANYONE OVER 18.
