I love trash movies, but not those which take themselves too seriously, and this one does just that. I will probably remember this movie forever, because it was so bad, it can never be unseen

This movie kept me on the edge of my seat till the end, I couldn't see what will the end be, and I usually do. It didn't have even one one liner, and the actress, wow she did unbelievable job. I don't wan't to risk any spoilers, you have to see this film. It has some serious massages, it should make you think about decisions of government you are willing to take for the promise of future and safety. When it comes to our resources on this planet, it will be us that will have to deal with their decisions, they will say that we should have less only for them to have more... Think about that...

I am being generous with a 3/10. This film is just empty, hollow, blank... Nothing ever happens.. It gets cheesy quite a lot. Characters are bland, there is no chemistry between them. I actually wanted to go out but felt sorry for my money, and then got sorry for my wasted time... I never got to care for anyone in this film... Don't believe the hype because this is one forgetful movie which you will never want to see again, not even on TV. There are many illogical scenes that make you wonder what they were thinking, and that is only food for thought there is. I only liked costumes and scenery, some fighting scenes were kind of fun, but we've seen it many times in many other fantasy films.

First of all I never cried during watching this film, It was so predictable, and boring, wooden acting of the whole crew was annoying and laughable, and when Richard Gere died in the film, I didn't cry, I started laughing and I said to my husband, look Richard is ruined, they will not let him act till the end of the movie anymore, and then we both laughed... First of all did you people notice how actors in most today's movies act like wooden puppets just going around and talking random words which they do not feel AT ALL, I noticed it, and I noticed how unnatural Hollywood characters are, shallow and impossible to like... I will stick to UnAmerican movies from now on( it seems that Hollywood makes everything through very old recipes, they will make something well known to audience, they will not experiment, they just want money, they don't make films anymore)... Most people here said that this story in unbelievable , but it is very common, it is just that Japanese people appreciate every hero, even the dog... In my country there are many stories of dogs who spend their lives near the master's grave, or died the same day, and for that thing for following their masters to work and back....WELL EVEN MY CAT DOES THAT... if you are connected to your pet you could expect that... But what was really annoying was that plot hole which I noticed when Richard Gere practiced katana, and I noticed it was fishy , and then at the ending, when they said that man who owned the dog was Japanese, and everything happened in JAPAN, I got depressed, very depressed. Here there was again CHEAP Hollywood, they had to move the dog to America and Americanize everything, but that story would be impossible in America, you know why, because the law says so, no dog should be on the streets, without muzzle and so on, you people are full of laws which are taking your money away( well in my country they do the same)...anyway if we would hope your state was not full of those laws back then In 1924 ( professor used internet in the film), lets say story is possible to happen in America at that time... I get this is JUST BASED on a true story, not that it is true story, but why did they butcher so much the true story? People who made this film know nothing about dogs, and they just put one stupid scene after another to make film last longer, it was agony,farce, they made JOKE out of everything! The only one who knew how to act in a whole movie was a dog so give him Oscar, and apologize to him because you put him in one manipulative LIE/JOKE of a movie... Read about true story and see what really happened...One more thing, it is impossible to make movie out of this story, because it is too simple, and it is too beautiful, it should be passed on , but through different media... and at the end I will give this movie 4 out of 10, because I give dog 10, and to the rest I give -2...

This is not political movie, it doesn't tell you to vote for democrats or anyone, it is just anti war film... Personally I hate zombie movies, I hate horrors, I haven never seen any good horror film, they were never scary for me, there is no horror masterpiece in my opinion, nor any masterpiece film in which people get killed, I am not hippie, but I like to see artistic films, I hardly find any film that I like, and I liked this one very much... some people here said that this film is not subtle, well it should not be, it should scream in your ears WAR is WRONG...and some said that poorly made films should not send any message, well, maybe this movie is not high quality, but his message is, and this message should exist everywhere, especially today, when people are getting blinder every day...well I don't think anything will open minds of these people, because they refuse to open them, well only when people extinct then this world will be clean from us, we are so apathetic and suicidal, nothing will help us... At least, I will say thank to this film, THANK YOU FOR TRYING, in this world where no body cares any more...

I was child, And after watching this film I started thinking about death, And I didn't hate this film because of it... ALL of you people are so afraid from violence in cartoon, and ,,sex'' in cartoon, but let me tell you something, truth is there and you can't hide it from your kids forever, they should better know about violence and should know it is bad, since in every Disney movie good side wins, and I like it that way... As for the sex, don't worry, your children will not learn about sex from cartoon, sex is in their instinct, as soon as they reach five, they will notice the difference, and will do some experiment with their body, and that is natural...so don't say how grossed you are because you noticed sex everywhere, because that is your perverted mind, kids are still too young to notice it everywhere... and I was mad when I read some bad comments that said how it is unbelievable that there is only one male lion , and all others are female, well it is not only BELIEVABLE, but it is TRUTH, there is only one male lion in pack of lions, no more, so you ,,smart'' people could learn something from this cartoon, It would be like watching National Geographic... I Loved this movie when I was kid, and I still love it now... 10/10

Please people, indulge yourself more into watching this show, before you make conclusion it is a stereotype. I usually hear Penny's character is dumb blond and others are unrealistic... I have to Admit I really liked this show since I saw myself in penny, I never understood science, I went to high school oriented towards languages and literature. And somehow my friends where always boys who understood everything about science, computers and engineering. They always talked like as they say ,,nerds'' in this show, and I even had friend who was asexual like Sheldon, and it was hard to understand him but everyone loved him. at the End I even got married to a men who is actually into all three things ( science, computers, engineering. and sometimes I have difficulties to understand what is he talking about, or I don't understand at all, but we are full of compassion at the end of the day:D Oh dear this is not film review this is my life review... Actually I wrote this in order to tell you that these characters are not shallow, they are deep, they have many sides and have difficulties no matter how intelligent they are... You just have to love these guys:)

It is just as they say in some f***ing TV shows that serial killers are intelligent , how come? it is easy to destroy someones life, very easy, but bringing a new life and raising it to be great human is very very hard... In this fantasy,main character can scent all the smells, and he founds that women have the best smell, so he is going to kill them to make perfume, what the f**k is intelligent about it. All the scenes are disgusting and film is boring...actually i forgot most of this film, and I tend to forget uninteresting films. It came to my mind today because someone mentioned it, and I also tend to be mad and nervous when I remember how some movies where so stupid, and how they affect my thoughts and made me feel bad for no reason. AND I am very very mad at those who made this film and made me feel bad for no reason, isn't life hard enough? why then I need to see ugly unrealistic scenes which are totally useless, WHY?
