Two Thumbs up. Love Every Episode
4 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
4 July 2023: I am a man and I love this Spanish series with Diana Gomez, Silma Lopez, Teresa Riott and Paula Malia. I have watched every episode. I hope there will be many more years of it. I like the witty sexy dialogue with a bit of profanity which is not too much, but just right amount to show how close friends really talk.

Elisabeth Benavent and Maria Castaño have done a great job, sort of like "Sex in The City", but filmed in beautiful Madrid, Spain which I visited for a couple of days in 2017.

When my girlfriend moves in with me, I will watch it all over again with her. Two Thumbs up and ten stars.

Working Moms, Great, every Episode
27 February 2023
Sunday 26 February 2023. I started watching this Canadian television show a few weeks ago. It is a woman's show, but as a man, I like every episode. I am not used to hearing women curse this much, but I love the racy dialogue and bits of profanity, which is done in a sexy way not mean-spirited.

My favorite characters are Anne Carlson played by actress, Dani Kind, and Kate Foster played by Ivan Reitman's daughter, Catherine Reitman. I like that Kate is not afraid to be sexy and the cute petite Filipino actress, Jessalyn Wanlim in the role of Jenny. The sexy sarcasm between Jenny and her bisexual boyfriend is fun to watch.

The only reason why I will not rate it ten stars is because of the use of the "B" words on women. Women have been referred to or called the degrading "B" word long enough in t.v shows, movies, and in real life and it will not end unless people and writers stop using it.

I am a middle age man and I dislike hearing women being called a "B" by a man or by women in fun or in anger. Also, I like African Canadian actress, Enuka Okuma in the role of "Sloan". She is pretty, sharp-witted, and sexy. In my opinion, what makes actress, Dani Kind's Anne sexy is her hot temper. She is not afraid to speak up and say what's on her mind.

Two Thumbs up, well worth watching.

NOT a good "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner or Guess Who" remake
31 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Good cast. I love to watch and support All Interracial relationships and positive Interracial movies or t.v shows especially between Blacks and other races. However this film has too much unnecessary profanity and the use of the "N" word should Never be said by anybody. I never hear other famous actors/actresses of other races saying racial slurs against their own race. Instead of the parents trying to understand and accept their kids being in love, they try to tear them apart. In real life, it is sad, but rarely do a Jewish faith person and a Muslim faith person fall in love and get married. .

One More Try (2012)

Excellent, but a bit Unrealistic Love triangle story
11 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Sunday 11 December 2022: I have only seen a few Filipino movies that are made in Philippines. The few that I have seen are action movies with American cast filmed there with some Filipino actors/actresses. I was looking at my choices of movies to watch on Net Flicks and I stumbled upon "One More Try". I liked this movie from start to the very end. The three main cast are really good and both women are pretty, but to me, actress, Angel Locsin is beautiful and more exotic than any woman in the film.

It is unrealistic because no normal thinking husband and wife in love will allow their spouse to have sex with the ex even though it is for a great cause to save the life of a child. What about Artificial Insemination or some other method and keep trying until it works? I think Grace still has feelings of romantic love for her ex-husband as mentioned in the film. Over all, I give the film two Thumbs up.

Beautiful Interracial Love Story
24 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Sunday 23 October 2022: I am a strong supporter of All Interracial Love stories between men and women and this one starring pretty and talented African Dominican Latina actress, Zoe Saldaña in the role of Amy is excellent from start to finish. This story also sort of mirrors Zoe's real life. Her husband Marco Perego is Italian and grew up in Italy, so in hearing her speak basic Italian probably came easy for her.

The entire cast is great, Danielle Deadwyler who can currently be seen as the mother in the film "Till" as sister, Nora is great. Keith David as her dad is great and his ex-wife played by, Kellita Smith from the Bernie Mac show is a bitter uptight woman is also good and Italian actor, Eugenio Mastrandrea as Lino. I did not like the racist comment said by Kellita at the dinner table during Thanksgiving dinner to her daughter about wanting only brown skin grandchildren. Otherwise, a ten on the scale, two thumbs up.

Enjoyable to Watch
13 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
13 September 2022:

The idea of this show is worth watching. I enjoyed it because it shows the struggles that a woman and in this case a minority Asian woman, played by very pretty Korean American actress, Arden Cho in the role of Ingrid Yun has to go through to successfully climb the lawyer corporate ladder in the standard American Law firm unless the law firm is headed by all Asians.

This was the same case in an Interracial romantic film title "Something New" where pretty and talented African American actress Sanaa Lathan played a lawyer trying to make partner and had to work twice as hard for less pay just to prove she is equally as good as her Caucasian male lawyers. This is the exact same case with Ingrid. I was hoping that Ingrid was going to make it all the way, but I knew before the final episode that Ingrid with all of her hard work, she was going to get bird droppings on her pretty head and told to work harder for next year. Next year, she would have been screwed too.

The boss, very well played by actor, Matthew Rauch as Marty is an asshole, very rude and callous to his staff and he allows racist employees to go unpunished because the racist is a Caucasian/ White male and the victims are Asian and African American. In a real law firm, I do not think anyone one would be treated so poorly. Great acting by Bradley Gibson as the very gay Tyler. Bradley deserves an Emmy award. I disliked the ending since I was hoping to see more justice served to Marty.

Sweet and Surpy
13 September 2022
13 September 2022

Actress, Catherine Bell is one of the most beautiful women on television. Her face is very angelic, thanks to her Biracial heritage as most 8 out of 10 mixed race ethnic people are usually good looking like actresses Halle Berry, Paula Patton, Denyce Lawton to name a few.

I first saw Catherine on JAG then on Army Wives. The entire cast is good and very plesant to watch. When I first saw the title, I was hesitant to watch it because I thought it was going to be another evil satanic spell casting type of show, which I have no interest in watching.

The chemistry is perfect between Actor, James Denton and Catherine Bell from the very first episode. James is great. Anyone can see these two romantically belong together, but the writers drag us along and beat around the bush for this to happen. Actress, Catherine Disher is a nice added blend to the cast as well as Actress, Sarah Power is also good in her supporting role as the cousin. However after watching several episodes, it does get to be very surpy and mushy which is a nice change from shows with women being beaten up, raped or gang violence and murder. I have only watched Season 1. I will continue to watch more episodes, if it does not become a satanic horror show. For me, only time will tell.

Bible remake of Joseph, the Dreamer
28 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Saturday night 27 August 2022: This is Not a bad movie. I actually enjoyed the modern day version. The cast of actors/actresses are fairly good. However some scenes are unrealistic and movies and t.v shows are supposed to be a realistic as can be especially when portraying some stories and certain scenes.

Examples: 1. The wife of Mr. Tanner, played by actress, April Hartman is Not going to come on so strongly to a new hired younger man that she barely knows.

2. The prison scenes are too phony. Although, we do Not need to do any gay sex scenes or have profanity, which is usually what happens in real prisons. Also no big overweight man is going to start being friends with a new fish on the block unless the big guy wants something in return. The fight scene during the session was more realistic and Brady getting dragged off the

However to make it more realistic, it should have been the prisoners taunting Brady played by actor, Andrew Cheney. They should have been bullying him for lunch or something else. And what made it even more unrealistic is there is No way for a woman, Kate, played by very cute actress, Megan Parker from work who barely knows Brady less than one month is going to visit him in prison as if she is in love with a man she has not even had two dates with yet. Kate's line in the prison scene, "It's hard for us too." How hard can it be for a man she has not had two dates with yet? It would be different, is Kate and Brady had been dating for six months or more and the film would have shown that.

Also this is a new century and, God does Not see skin color, God only sees and cares about the heart and mind and Interracial Love & Marriage does exist in real life, so there was not any valid reason to not have shown a blossoming romance between Chris, played by actor, Akron Watson and the caucasian/white woman that he was romantically interested in.

Unless Brady had a total plastic surgery face make over, how could his brother that he grew up with Not recognize him from the office and later the rest of his brothers at the ranch. Brady only changed his hair style and dress better.

I am rating it a 7 only because I like the cast and the story line.

Beauty Queen of Jerusalem, Great
31 July 2022
Sunday, 31 July 2022: I watch Israel films and t.v shows, "Fauda", "Asylum City", and "The New Black", I watched every episode of the first season.

They producers should have hired beautiful Israeli actresses, Moran Atias and Ilanit Levy, {Eyal Golan's} beautiful ex-wife to play roles in the entire series.

All of the Israeli actors/actresses were good, but. Actress, Irit Kaplan, as a bad mean and nasty Merkada deserve an Israeli version of Academy Award as best supporting actress. She is so mean to her unattractive daughter in law. Pretty Lead actress, Swell Ariel Or in the role of Luna also deserves an award as well as, actor Tom Hagi in the role of Ephraim.

This is only questions I have are: 1. Why is some of the dialogue in Spanish? This story takes place in God's country, Israel and all of the performers are Israeli.

2. I hope there will be a season, 3, 4,5 and so on. Will there be a 3rd season?

"UnHinged" 2020 or "Duel" 1971
16 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
15 April 2022: When I was in college in the mid 80's decade, one of my college professors told the class, which I was in that every film or t.v show has been done at least once. He said this after a student said that she had an original idea for a movie. The screenwriter of "Unhinged" took the "Duel" idea and put a new twist on it. Either Russell gained a lot of belly weight or he was padded up really good.

When ever movie is big success, ideal copies will soon come up. The teacher gave the class a good example. Anyhoo although, I like the film, which it is unrealistic, but a lot of movies are not realistic.

A lot of people would have reported her and him for driving at such high speeds on residential streets and the accidents she caused by being chased by Russell's character. Sure Russell's character would have been stopped by the cops and arrested. The idea is not new. In the 70's decade, the great Steven Spielberg made his first movie after graduating Cinema school.

The story is about a man driving his car to another state. On the way, he blows his car horn and upset a man in the truck. After that the truck driver gets outraged and constantly chases the man down a long highway. The name of the movie: "DUEL". Starring Dennis Weaver and directed by Steven Spielberg.

Although this movie is interesting to watch, but "Duel" was more like real life where a man is being chased across country on a lone highway and no witnesses. 7 on the scale and one thumb up.

Enjoyable Young Italian romance
8 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
7 June 2021: I love Interracial movies and t.v shows like this Italian series and I like the multiracial and Biracial lead actress, super cute, Rebecca Coco Edogamhe and the actor who plays Anthony her estranged father.

The positive is I like the entire cast. The negative is the voice over doubles are horrible. All the English speaking voice over actors/actresses all sound monotone.

All of the young actresses who play roles of Sofia, Lola, the young hotel desk clerk who befriends Summer to the woman with the little boy all range from cute to really cute. Makes me want to move to Italy and find a girl.

However after several heartbreaks between them, sadly everyone is cheating on everyone and actress, Amanda Campana, who plays lesbian Sofia has a crush on Summer as everyone guy does she Summer comes in contact with.

Overall, not the best, but worth watching.

Great Latino comedy. Two Thumbs up high.
29 March 2021
28 March 2021: Latina actress, America Ferrera {Ugly Betty, Sisterhood of Traveling Pants & Our Family Wedding}, writer, Linda Chavez and casting director, Carla Hool has done a great job. Everyone in American and Latin countries should watch this show. There are at least 18 Spanish speaking countries on the planet. One of the the best things I like about it that although, it is based on Mexican culture with a mostly Mexican American actors/actresses, but Carla and America has also cast Hispanics that are Puerto Rican, Colombian, Dominicans and other Latin races and what makes it beautiful is that she and America Ferrera knows that Hispanics comes in all skin tones. I would like to see more African Latinos cast on the show such as Gina Torres, Laz Alonzo or Zoe Saldaña. This is so much better than those racist telenovelas on the Spanish channel, Univision where all Latinos are White skin with blond hair and blue eyes. I also like that the cast speaks Spanish and English. Two Thumbs up, way up high. I hope it last for at least five years.

Romantically Funny. Two Thumbs up.
4 August 2020
3 August 2020: I saw this South African film last night. The entire cast is good, but the comedy award goes to really cute and talented African actress, Fulu Mugovhani. Fulu is adorable to watch from start to finish. Her equally talented big girl co-star, Tumi Morake is also very funny and delivers her comedic timing perfectly. I hope to see Fulu and Tumi together in other films.

5 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Sunday 5 July 2020: I like cute African actress, Adesua Etomi in all of her roles that I have seen her in. I would like to see her in North American films too. Adesua is very cute, sweet, sexy and talented. But over all it was not the best movie and the acting in some scenes with the supporting cast was over the top, but over all it was funny with actresses Bimbo and Bisola and Adesua's real life husband is also in this film.

31 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Saturday 30 May 2020: Thanks to Net Flicks, I get to watch movies and t.v shows made in Africa with an all African cast and also in Israel, my favorite county in the Middle East. I really enjoyed watching this film. African actress, Beverly Naya is good in all of her roles as I have seen her in a few. This movie ended the way I knew that it would. The whole cast is good. The only disappointing thing was it took to long for the ending scenes to happen. I wanted to see Mo and Tobe get married and a little more of them in the end.

Good African Soap Opera. Two Thumbs Up
14 May 2020
14 May 2020: Last year 2019, I started watching movies and television shows made in Africa, mainly Nigeria and Kenya. I would like to see the "Fifty" soap opera run for many years like American soap opera dramas. I like every episode.

Since I was born and lived in USA my entire life watching American movies and t.v show, I am Not use to seeing an All African (black) cast in soap opera dramas, but it is a real nice change of pace and the African actors/actresses are just as talented as their counterparts in North America. I really enjoyed watching pretty and talented African actresses Dakore Agbuson, Adesua Etomi and the so beautiful and talented, Pearl Thusi and the male actors are good too, Chris Attoh and other. Go Nollywood go.

Great Movie. Tov, Tov, Tov, Kol Ha Kavod.
9 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
9 May 2020: Shalom, Boker Tov. I am American, not born Jewish. Anyoo, I Love Israel, vacationed in Yisrael in 2017. Ani ohev Israel, Ivrit ba ha lev sheli. I love the Hebrew language and I speak basic Ivrit. I am a fan of Israeli movies and some t.v shows, especially the ones spoken in Hebrew (Ivrit). This movie is excellent from start to the end.

Talking about when God {Adonai, Elohim} gives you a second chance at life on earth, you make good on it. This is what these guys did. I wish that it would have been released in movie theaters in America. My only reason why I did not give it 10 stars is because I did not like that Guy Amir's character "Chuma" eventually gave in and had sex with Hanan's ex-girlfriend. I know that he want to do the right thing and be a dad for her son, but it would have been different, if he was not best friends with Hanan Savyon's character "Steve". So the ending is a mix of happy and disappointment. Happy the boy gets his {Aba} back, but the now the two men can never have the same friendship.

Two Thumbs Up. "Isoken meets Something New"
3 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
3 May 2020: Since last year 2019, I have been watching a lot of movies or t.v shows made in Kenya or Nigeria, Africa. I am a big fan and supporter of Interracial movies between Blacks and Whites or Whites and Asians or Blacks and Hispanic or whatever mixture. So, I knew once I read the plot, I knew that I was going to like it. I have been watching a lot of movies and t.v shows made in Nigeria or Kenya Africa. All of the African Actors/Actresses and writers are really talented. I have been watching pretty African actress, Dakore Egbuson~Akande in an African t.v soap drama, "Fifty". She is quite good and so is African Actress, Adesua Etomi. I really liked it. Damilola Adegbite is stunning.

However, the writer and director probably saw the American version titled "Something New" starring pretty and talented Sanaa Lathan {African American} and Simon Baker {Caucasian-White} This is the Nigerian version and it is also quite nice to watch. Mid way into the film, anyone can figure out how it will end.

A good College boy Fighting Temptation
10 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
9 April 2020: Not a bad film. Acting is fair, but I really liked the message from the African actor, Benjamin Onyango whom I saw in the film "God's Not Dead". He and his wife instill good family values in their children to follow God's {Adonai, Elohim} way, but that is very hard to do for a young man in college surrounded by an atheist professor, actor, Greg Williams and in a world of young boys in college and the temptation of a sweet young pretty Latina nicely played by Hispanic actress, Natalie Dominguez in the role of Marcella. I Love the fact of the Interracial Love story between them because God does Not see skin color, but sadly too many people who only see skin color and prejudge other races. Love comes in all races and skin tone and sadly so does hate. Diallo in the role of "CJ" does a fairly good acting job as a young do right nerd who always wants to do what is right and Biblical, but his roommate and buddies make it hard for him with drinking and partying. I like that he is a young Black man who does the right thing by his pregnant girlfriend. Good acting by Ed Moreno as "Hector". I know in the world that we live in, it's girl's or woman's right to have an abortion, but my personal feelings are abortions should Never be done unless a woman is raped because she did Not ask for that to happen to her. Overall, it is worth the Matinee price of admission.

Unorthodox (2020)

Great Story. Two Thumbs Up.
1 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
1 April 2020: I am African American. I love Israel. I like watching films about Israel and the Jewish people. I speak basic Ivrit. I have seen many films and t.v shows in Hebrew. Israeli actress, Shira Hass and Israeli actor, Amit Rahav both deserve best actor awards for outstanding and superb acting. I would have like to have seen Israeli actors, Lior Raz and Moran Atias in this film.

Unorthodox in some ways is a very poignant story, but also like other races and cultures in the world where a young man and young woman do not get the chance to know each other by physical attraction, it is just arranged by the parents of who they think one should be with. It's old slogan of when two young people are put together without anything in common or physical attraction, "well, you will learn to love him or learn to love her." I felt very sad for Ester/Esty who and all women who suffer like her of having to just go through the mechanics of sex, no romance, no foreplay of kissing the lips, neck, breast and backside or her kissing him.

For Yanky and Esty it is like punching a time clock on a job. "Okay, are you ready? Let's get in bed. I, the man will get on top of you, put it inside of you and be done." It sad that it does not matter, if the woman enjoys love making or not. She just has to endure the pain. I being a man, felt so bad for Ester/Esty in bed when she kept trying to let her husband penetrate her, but with her being a virgin, the pain was too much. No woman wants to be in bed like that. I was very happy when Esty finally told him that the Bible/ Torah says that husbands are to make love a very happy and pleasurable time for the wife too. (Songs of Solomon, chapter 1.) One of the things I did like is what I have heard several years ago from a Jewish person. When Esty tells her doctor that she wants to keep her baby and the reason is the Jewish people are trying to replace the six 6 millions Jews that were killed under Hitler's regime. That will Not replace the deaths of those dead Jews, but the idea is wonderful. Seeing the end of remorse of Yanky, I wish that he and Esty would have gotten back together. I only wish the film would have been in Hebrew instead of Yiddish, so I could have kept along with the language.

THE HUNT vs HARD TARGET
28 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Saturday 28 March 2020: I was not planning to watch "The Hunt", but when I asked a theater ticket taker, what the film was about, I decided to watch it when movie theaters were still open. I liked it a lot, very funny in the opening (not the opening airplane scene) but the scene with people in the open field mouths gagged and the old store scene with actress Amy Madigan as Ma and Reed as Pa. Very funny and nicely done. The lead actress, Betty Gilpin is great. I like to women heroes and Betty looks good in the role and she is hot too.

Over all this movie idea is a taken from the action film, "Hard Target" starring Jean C. Van Damme and Lance Henriksen where people hunt and kill other people for sport.

"CATCHING FEELINGS" ends with Good Feelings.
16 March 2020
15 March 2020: Net Flicks is doing a really good job of showing t.v shows and movies made in foreign countries. I am hooked on Beautiful, Talented and sexy biracial South African actress, PEARL THUSI after watching her in "Queen Sono". She is well worth watching. She is a natural. Pearl is the Halle Berry over S.A.

I would like to see Pearl in Hollywood movies the same as South African actress, Charlize Theron. I just watch "Catching Feelings" and the entire cast is good, including actor, writer and director Kagiso Lediga and supporting actor, Akin Omotoso.

It is a big improvement for Africans and Biracial Africans in South African since the history with dark skinned Africans having to endure a lot of hate, bigotry and racism over the years. Kudos, two thumbs up.

I only hope that Net Flix and the production company will make "Queen Sono" into a long running show for at least three years. 25 February 2020
Tuesday 25 February 2020. I have not watch many all African cast films. I was scrolling on my Net Flicks channel and this film caught my eyes. I am glad that I watch it. I like it from the beginning to the end and lead actress, Joselyn Dumas is very good in her role, all natural and although the other actress with the long fake hair is pretty, but Joselyn is very pretty, classy and stunning to look at. I hope to see more of her. She should be in American movies or television shows. Actress Joke Silva did a good job as the mother in-law. I would have been disappointed if the two main characters would not have gotten back together.

God and Love does NOT see Skin Color.
11 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
11 September 2019: I love and support All Interracial Love stories. My all time favorites are "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and "Something New". I found this movie on cable t.v by accident and I really liked it a lot. I rarely ever see a movie or not see a movie based on professional critics. That is just their paid opinion givers. I'd rather see a film for myself and then decide.

Also, I met the director Brian Baugh a few years ago at a special 168 cinema event where he was a guest speaker. Although I have never seen the two leads in any other films or television shows, I thought they both did a good acting job.

For a film of the subject matter made in 2019, I think this movie is a bit antiquated to show a scene that would have taken place in the 1960's or 1970's, a Caucasian {White} store clerk following an African American {Black} around the store unless he came in the store looking like a vagrant or thief. There wasn't anything about this young man played by actor Caleb Castille would indicate that he is going to shoplift. The same for the restaurant scene where people are staring at them as if they were aliens. However, prejudice comes in all races. If he would have taken his cute White girlfriend to an all Black area, store or restaurant in the south, African American people would have been staring at him and her with the same disdane, contempt or scorn.

I like the first shared kiss between actress/screenwriter, Rose Reid who makes the first move on Caleb, very tastefully done. It shows that she is clearly interested in him and he did not overstep his bounds with her. I also like Rose character. She is Not materialistic when they make plans for their first date. Rose wrote the story for this film and she deserves an A.

On the down side, although it represents real life, this Interracial love plot has been done to death with the Black man, White woman story line. It would be nice to see such Interracial Love stories like films: "Something New" or "The Lovings" where the woman is Black and the man is White or an Interracial Love story between an African American and an Asian or Hispanic or Israeli Jewish or Arab and the woman can be African American and the man be another race for a change. In closing, God (Adonai, Elohim) and Jesus (Yeshua) does Not see skin color, God only sees the heart and mind.
