Jannat 2 (2012)
7/10
Really good performances and story has a grip through out!
13 May 2012
To begin with it is quite nice Jannat can become a genre by itself in Bollywood. I really liked way the characters are built up. Movie has a grip through out and you are not bored every time Hooda and Hashmi are on screen together you feel the excitement where is the plot going to move next. Sure enough the story might be a lift from another movie but the dynamics between the characters is handled very adeptly and makes for a pleasant viewing. Am not a Hashmi fan but after seeing this movie I have to say hats off to him being so faithful to the character and his simple no nonsense acting makes him really likable.

Final verdict: Definitely entertaining and worth a watch!

Heyy Babyy (2007)

Light hearted comedy...fun to watch...the guys have a definite chemistry and and the comic timing is hilarious
25 August 2007
Of course this is a new genre of Bollywood movies...comedy which is gaining popularity don't go looking for depth ...and sure it is a rip off the Hollywood movie three men and a baby but still I really liked the chemistry between Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh..the dialog are quite witty too...the movie starts off quite well and the scenes where the three guys are trying to handle the baby are quite hilarious...some kudos are due to the director Sajid Khan for keeping a good grip...Vidya Balan looks lovely too...and the just check out the cameo appearance of the great SRK and guess what he has a pony tail...all in all a good comedy:)

Umrao Jaan (2006)
2/10
A tear jerker with no grace and fails to have any impact
10 November 2006
We read mixed reviews about Umrao Jaan...one is always apprehensive when going to see a remake of such a classic...not sure what to expect..I found the whole tone of the movie to be so morbid and Grey. Sure it is the story of pain but it is not told with grace. THe problem with the movie is definitely the way in which it is told. In most of the scenes the character of Umarao is shown crying weeping or fearful ..quite the opposite of a courtesan's character which is about presentation entertainment. Good scenes fail to make an impact. And the choreography is terrible too...merchant has done a terrible job no grace!!! All in all don't waste your time on this movie

another sad sequel....
15 May 2003
Matrix reloaded really sucks...I mean for the first hour or so the the director does not know what he really wants to show.....the story just drags and drags and even the action scenes have a video game like look if you are expecting to see the hi tech action well you will be disappointed....I think compared to this movie XMEN was far more value for money. Even the action shots in Matrix reloaded there is too much repitiion the cars flying and the action scenes with Keanu Reeves seem to go on and on there seems to be no grip I really found myself losing interest and actually getting bored.....
