Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (2022)
Relatable to a widow like me
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. As a widow, I could relate to the awkwardness, it's been 5 years and I still haven't gotten the courage to breach that area.
I laughed and yelled at the TV while watching it!
Kudos to Katy Brand, Sophie Hyde, Emma Thompson and Daryl McCormack.
Ghosts (2021)
Sad interpretation of UK comedy
This show painfully attempts to capture the comedy of the original UK series and dismally fails. The cast needs revamping and the writers should try drama instead.
Hunters (2020)
Pretty decent way to pass the time...
The actors were great. The script could have been better researched, seeing that it was set during 1977, with flashbacks to other years, but the dialog was using jargon from the '71 - '72. The same can be said about the hair and fashion as well.
All in all...not a bad way to pass the time.
October Faction (2020)
Has promise...
The cringeworthy, stereotypical teens REALLY need to be rewritten. It's as if the writers don't know how to combine apathetic, privileged, tuned out teenagers convincingly.
The storyline has promise and if you can hang in past the 3rd episode, the series starts to pick up. A little more background on the "monsters" would be helpful. As well as showing a few more creatures would help.
