Warning: Spoilers
In a rather straightforward action movie, Lou makes a rather believable autistisk spy, where the game was all the world to her, but the years in hiding close to people she get close to changes her somewhat. She shows what the bear mother is capable of when the cub is threatened, even by a relative.

The movie won't win an Oscar for the most intelligent script, but scenery and mood should be accounted for the high rating I Gave. Was a long time since I felt this much suspense throughout a movie. Praise J. J. for no lense flares.

Allison been a favorite ever since West Wing and lately the TV show Mom, but here I saw a side of her portfolio I am happy to have watched. Enjoy!!!

Norway in the lead
21 June 2021
Taking back ground lost to Hollywood is the only hope we have of not letting American culture become our permanent way of living. THIS show is exactly that savior on many fronts. By the use of "superhero powers", Environmental challenging the Capitalism, family values and moral questions. All woven together in a tapestry of a Norwegian myth that is exciting and new in this iteration. It forms something as old as the idea of a Nordic brotherhood.

Excellence in both acting and script. Location is beautiful, cheers Odda.

Binged all episodes in one night
20 June 2021
Im relieved that there still is some competition to the Hollywood Cookie Cutter cud. It may only be a 7, but I gave it an extra star because Johan Glans was in it... GO JOHAN!

Fan of the doctor, then this is right up your alley, this at least might be an underground success.

This is a note to the writing crew get a fing education. If you portrait Autism in the way that you did could turn people against people in the spectrum you may make some people react like they did in the 30's. Shaaame SHAME!!!

The American boring formula repacked for a new generation
17 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
POSITIVE; Diverse cast, even though it was a WHITE nuclear family as the center of the story. Though most of the roles where the typical Archetypes, it helped to follow the initial story as new to the comic beginners. CGI Good. Sound great. Light amazing.

NEGATIVE; So many tropes and copy/paste ripoffs from most of the comic genre. The movie was so full of Nationalistic symbols that a NaZI PROPAGANDA MOVIE during WWII couldn't have more. Starman's last words echoed through all episodes : Find someone with honor and strength. His daughter, lies, manipulates, hide and deceit through pretty much through all of them, so much for honor. The strength seems to be mostly supplied by the staff. But what aggravated me the most is that stagnant point of the nuclear family and the roles which grind against each other, so what is the point to teach that to the new generation when the babyboomers show a 80% divorce rate in the USA. M;ost teenagers today wont even be in a relationship in the foreseeable future, there are alternatives. S.T.R.I.P.E.S. "Robot" is such a clone of something of a cross between Bumblebee and Some Bot in Real Steel. The roles and characters where forced and overplayed many times.

P.S. Next time you want someone able to speak any of the Scandinavian languages, hit me up, dont use people that are 3rd gen, Americans. D.S

Kaley Cuoco Does a great Job

But I hate the story. A fool stumbling around and somehow fix something, mostly due to her friends. No thx. If I wanna be irritated I just have to watch American news.

I must have left the door open
7 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Dag is me and his cynical look on life is me me me... But real life is not full of Evas. I recommend this for some insight into the Scandinavian culture and also some really good laughs combined with some deep insights in life, I have watched this series 4 times already, if I ever find someone who wants to see it with me, feel free to join me for the best show on Earth...Human interaction at its best AND worst!

The new way of Scandinavian writing have become a fascinating thing, the Bergman, Strindberg and Ibsen shadow have lifted. We have stopped taking ourselves too serious. I hope this show will stand on its own whenever the Americans find it on their Netflix! No American version plix!

The little movie that wanted so bad...
3 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Too little contact with reality for me. This is a subject that humanity first now dare tread into and coming with spiritual healing as a cure for something that we still do not know is a disease. The 2 stars above the 1 I first wanted to give, is because the last message is that we will fix this TOGETHER. No pills or that Jesus was the answer (Thank God, pun intended).

Casting of Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow two sex symbols makes this movie a masturbation marathon rather than shining a light on what these things means to ordinary people.

Rest was the stereotypical imprint we humans have on addiction. The worst kind.

For all you who feels stigmatized by this movie, I recommend: Sex at Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships, by : Christopher Ryan, Cacilda Jetha.

Love to all, peace and no greed!

Awfully plump!
3 August 2009
Warning: Spoilers
It was 30 years since I last stopped watching a movie before the end credits. I am 'NOT giving away the movie I will destroy it by using it as a coaster. That the actors voluntarily signed on this movie is hard to understand. Dignity FFS.

Someone said in an earlier post that you could enjoy the movie without having to be intellectual... I would say it helps not having a brain at all! Living just in a town I can see people having not the slightest idea how to retract their hand out of a cowbutt, BUT it's also impossible to by accident end up with a hand in any living creatures rear. Thats where I stopped after the lead male actor was about to reinsert it after he successfully managed to withdraw it, because the girls (leading female actors) diamondring was lost in there.
