Batman: Dead End (2003)
Clark Bartram is THE definitive comic-to-screen Batman
I will always yearn for more noir caped-capers from the genius visionary that is Sandy Collora. Clark Bartram is THE definitive comic-to-screen Batman: The perfect blend of brawn and charisma attired to finely honed/restrained/faithful perfection. All the crossing overs aside, the core of this masterpiece of a Film-short is exactly how I imagined grimy Gotham existing in the real World without sacrificing that precious Bat-iconography. Christopher Nolan NEVER came close to this, ever. Not even in the same zip-code, scratch that, entire Batverse. I will forever remain irked at the blandness of Nolan and awed by the brilliance of Collora! Hollyweird is so very, utterly, clueless.
Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland (2019)
Noprah Winfrey Presents: Laughter Neverland
This review contains no spoilers, it's all provably BS.
Go watch the: 'Lies of Leaving Neverland' Film, then watch this.
Then notice every single time these two smirking Clowns stifle laughter as they lie about the most heinous crime known to Humanity, in front of an audience filled with actual CSA victims. Think about that. Then think about the Woman platforming this horrendous sham. Absolute Evil all round.
Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story (2015)
Slendy' "The Operator" got down-sized. :P
I give this Film a 2, just because I'm a massive fan of the 'Mable Hornets' web series ~ So it gets the first point for that alone, and, I give the extra point for Doug Jones' involvement with it (He's one of Hollywood's most underrated Stars, IMO). But that's it.
This Movie bears none of the originality, nor sinister foreboding contained within the outstanding 'Marble Hornets' web series. It's just very standard, bland, mediocre horror fare, that focuses way too much on God-awful jump scares, and not enough on creating actual paranoia based fear and eerie tension like the brilliant 'Marble Hornets' series did by the Fleet-load.
And our Slender Man/Operator has been shrunk down to the size of a regular Guy, who looks like He's had a hankie thrown over His face, who's only shown in pathetic static little blips. What a waste of the aforementioned awesome Doug Jones. You'd think that a Feature-length Movie featuring 'Slender Man'/'The Operator' would create a much more substantial monster than the one delivered here.
When a 0 budget monster, in a web series, is infinitely more terrifying than the one served up in a Movie ~ You know that Movie has failed on all fronts.
Go marathon 'Marble Hornets' right from the 'Introduction' video, and see how this sh*t is meant to be done! (Best viewed at Night, curtains open, with very hot black Coffee)
Terminator Genisys (2015)
The REAL Termiantor 3!!! x x x x x x
Well.........
....... Terminator Genisys KICKED ARSE!!!!! EVERY-LAST-DAMNED-BIT OF IT!!!!
The entire Cast barring Jai Courtney were bloody flawless. And, even then, Jai was nowhere near as bad as I had previously anticipated He would be, not by miles. I actually warmed to Him very greatly. Arnold Schwarzenegger is still every bit the amazing, magnificent and commanding Son-of-a-B*tch He's always been. Gave ALL those Ageist f**kers a REAL run for their Money.....
......BUT, the true shining Star of the piece is the astounding Emilia Clarke - While She will NEVER replace the Goddess that is Linda Hamilton, She certainly is no Lena Headey - She felt real, connected, and fierce!!! Just such a wonderful and very respectful portrayal of our dear: 'Sarah Connor'. Loved Her in the role very much. That Lady will go very far in this Industry. heart emoticon
T:G IS the real T:3. Packed full of delightful references to the first two true instalments, and a thoroughly enjoyable psyche cleanser!!! This one's for the real, hardcore fans, and even non-fans will enjoy the lavish action sequences and the bright heart that shines at it's galvanized core.... ....It made Me f**king cry.
Ghost Rider (2007)
Ghost Rider Blazes!
I absolutely without question LOVED this movie!!! Nicholas Cage was amazing. Ghost Rider was my favourite hero as a child and this movie met up to all my expectations and more! It's the first time in a while, well, since 'Sin City' that a movie has rocked me so much! I thought that the transformation sequences were wonderfully frightening and just gory enough to accurately portray the change. And Don't even get me started on Ghost Rider's Motor Bike. (how f*****g awesome!!!) Also, I found the 'Rider' scene between the two Riders, Nicholas Cage and Sam Elliott (the legend himself) to be very moving. A truly stunning film. Fun all the way! The You should check this movie out if you liked: Hellboy, DareDevil, The Crow, Mortal Kombat, The Punisher & Mad Max. x x
