How Does This Stay On?
22 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I feel almost compelled to keep watching this, Only because I Really enjoyed the First Season: However, Lately--I am having Serious doubts, regarding this decision: I am Sorry but Ritual, Gruesome Killing of Main Characters, Just does not do it for me! What program, are the Censors watching, Because I don't understand how this Episode in particular even was allowed to make it past them: How does this stuff even Stay on Television? I was actually Totally disgusted with What I was seeing, but I guess based on the Rating, for this one--I am of the Real Minority: I'm Sorry, but this one was just sickening: Man I hope they tone it down, even if just a bit--I Fail to see how an Episode like this, Helps move the Story along--Maybe it's Overall ratings are Dropping off, and the Producers thought they Better toss in some Shock and Gore to Grab viewers back--But this was way over the Line of Good Solid Entertainment--I'm Just saying the Plot of this one is not what I watch the Show for anyway--Just my 2 bucks worth I know, but Still....

Weak, not good: Poor script.
22 August 2013
This was just a Terrible effort, not up to the usual standard at all. It was too much character driven, not enough Cop action, and poorly written. It should have been tossed back, and not allowed to be made... I as a Long time fan, was Hugely Disappointed..for every Strong show there has been this season: about 2 Poorer, weaker, not ready for prime time episodes have also sadly, made it through the vetting process. For a Prime Time Network program, this needs to be much better, whoever told the writing staff, to soften it up--should be told to pack it up and go home--Please back to what has made this such an Outstanding Program--New Officers on the beat, in the thick of the Action--This episode just missed the ' usual performance mark ' in so many ways..

' Here you take these Bananas Don't you worry about it '

Bonus if you guess from which Film? Cheers TRX15:

A Great Wrap Up Well Done JJ and Crew!
19 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
OK Yep Possible Spoilers up the wazoo: But Hey I edited this Episode: Yep I'm the Tim, who is mentioned as the Editor, that's how I knew in my previous Episode Review: That Etta, was In Fact not gone at all! Sure: It got It's Happy Maybe Sappy Ending, somewhat, but WOW This was very well done: All those quirky bits, from the Previous Last say 3-4 seasons, were thrown in, just to make your head Spin admittedly, but Ya Gotta Admit, for such an Ambitious Project: This was a most fitting send off! I would have given this a 10, except, for how the Last half-hour unfolded? They took out all the Stops, and just threw the ' whole Kitchen sink ' at it, massively, once the whole ' reset time ' idea, was put in: Etc:

Yes I applaud, such ambition, But boy, did it ' Head off to the Stars ' during the last 1/2 hr--We are talking, way way out there! There was Almost too much to absorb, here: almost too much detail, thrown out there: In an effort to ' Tie Things Up ' as it were: Sure this Season, was full of Emotion, and a lot of touchy-feel episodes, but that is an Essential facet of the Human Equation, after all: If you exist without emotions, then You are sadly Not an actual person: You would more closely resemble a Robot etc: But Anyway as the other reviewer also noted, there was an awful lot going on here: Once I clued into the depth, and width, it was heading for, My initial thought, was Gee We Needed about 3-4 more 1hr shows, to Flesh this all out Properly, and completely? But Alas: It Truly does Seem: The Absolute best thing to hit TV, since the time of The X-Files, and then LOST has sadly come to a Very Logical, Very Satisfying Conclusion: OK Warm up those Keyboards, time for all you Real Fringe Fans to chime In on this, Somehow I just know you will, soon, and to a great albeit well deserved extent? No doubt!

The finalized aligning of objects, ceases to rest my mind, or in fact, make me feel any better!

Thanx 4 Tuning In Cheers TRX15

A Satisfactory End, to a Unique Idea:
8 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Hello everyone from UR resident pop culture authority: A guy, who is so into TV, that I note with much sadness, the passing/ending of each significant albeit flawed attempt, to stage a worthy concept? That's just what went on in this case: the staging of a great idea: Let me begin, by saying I really liked this show, the wonderful Jordana S, who I had not seen previously, the chance to watch 1 of my favorite Male leads, the equally capable William F, and at the close, a bonus chance to watch Jennifer B, just out of Chicago Code, give real quality to a much different role for herself: Wow most enjoyable: Back to the point, this was very well done! Sure it admittedly had plenty of ideas we had all seen before, but even I think this is the 1 and only time a Lance Gentile project has indeed tanked? That's also 1 of the reasons I am quite surprised, at this 1 not making it, with such a gifted Executive team, and a promising cast, I was really hoping for so much more! but alas: Anyway this was a well liked, most justified wrap-up to 1 concept, that I will surely miss! A very good effort by Miss Spiro, who as I said earlier, should get a show, where she ' can really demonstrate her fine acting ability ' OK, so I am biased towards her, but I was massively impressed with her efforts, in something that had far inferior writing, pacing, etc: And yes it was littered, by his previous ' contract actors: the wonderful Zeljko Ivanek: the always superb Jamie Lee K, who I always mistake 4 Michael Michele, at 1st glance, but I wander... Just say WOW! and very sad to see U have to leave: Oh by the by, the demise of Constantine, the way, it was done, is exactly, the way 1 would dispense of a person, suffering from Diabetes: ( Sorry just had to mention, this 1, as I think, this is only like the 2nd time someone, has been dispatched, using this method? )

"If a man speaks in the forest and no woman is there to hear it: Is he still wrong"?

It's A Wrap: A Major Character Pays The Price!
21 December 2012
Warning: Spoilers
This is Pretty Solid, But Once More Fraught with The Need to Tie Things, Up Emotionally: Which is Really Wearing Thin: Enough With All The Tear Jerking, and so on: I really hope, that Soon, a More Clear Direction Towards the Finale is Coming: Plus the Telegraphing of Major Plot Lines, is Approaching from Really Far Away: The Return of Nina Sharp, was Most Welcome: But It was so Obvious Just What Her Reaction to Being More Thoroughly Probed, would in Fact Be! This was 1 of my Favorite Characters, over the run of the Series, and I sure Hope, that Walter, Will Be Getting a More Suitable Denouement, Than Mrs Sharp! It would be a Real Cop Out, if Walter were to Simply Take His Own Life etc: The Major Characters resorting to Suicide, is Merely the ' Easy Way Out ' as a Plot Device: And I was Really Expecting More than That from This My All Time Favorite Televised, Scripted Drama/Sci-Fi Combo: It is Nice to See Etta getting some Due, and I still Say, The Primary Cast, will Be Helped by Her Spiritual Presence, or some such Similar Deal, Over the Last Few Episodes: Come On Mr JJ Abrams Let's Go Out On Top, With A Mind Blowing Finale! It Really Is the only justified way to close it out 4 us True Fringe Dwellers, Out Here on the Edge of Known Science etc.... ' If I knew where Mel Gibson was, I'd be down on the floor licking his balls at this very moment, sir. ' Cheers TRX15:

Adjustment Bureau Meets T2 and a Few Others:
4 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
OK We R Finally getting to the meat n potatoes, part of this the Last Season: 4 those of U concerned that Etta, is in fact Gone forever, pay Close attention to Olivia's Foreshadow 'Surely We didn't just get her Back, only to Lose her again, so soon' This is Fringe also, where Things R seldom, if ever as they seem to be. I am sure, She'll show up, down the Line, or I am a very Poor judge of Episodic TV: Anyway: I Digress... How very nice 2 see Homage, Tribute paid to Philip K Dick, a La The Observers so closely Resembling the 'Helpers' of The Adjustment Bureau: And Peter Interacting with the Tech he Liberated, is Obviously a somewhat Awkward homage to Terminator 2: All that Aside, it really Looks like we may in fact get a Very Satisfactory Wrapping Up, to what is Arguably, the Best Thing 2 Hit TV, at Least since JJ's Last Great attempt LOST: Cheers TRX15: "I choose to believe what I was programmed to believe" Makes U think Right!

Fringe: And Those We've Left Behind (2011)
Season 4, Episode 6
Finally back to some Kick Ass It was Wandering a bit!
20 November 2011
This is what was Missing with Peter gone, the Multi Dimensional Travel! This is an Outstanding Episode, Great story, Good Acting--Very Good all around: It is interesting to see how the relationship between Olivia and Peter is now being handled--almost like there never was one at all: Olivia with her remark You're a Stranger to me etc, Very well done--as she seems to look right thru him like he's not even there! Most Cool--it is disappointing to see Astrid get less of a role, but I am sure this won't be for long--The Premise here is very well done, the FX first rate and it is a Joy to see the Best show on TV return to it's Amazing Form! I would suggest this as the Best episode of admittedly a very young season, but Still Finally It Rocks once more! Very Cool Indeed!

Cheers TRX

Jurassic Park Meets Rambo With A Sound Of Thunder Mixed In!
30 September 2011
This Shows some of the Best Promise of any of the New Debuted Scripted shows This Fall, One of the Better Attempts at Genuine Science Fiction Story Telling, but Hey Any New Science Fiction Themed Show is Just a Bonus Excuse To Keep Watching The Boob Tube (I date Myself Seemingly) Hmnnn... Anyway I digress But to say this is Outstanding does not do it enough Justice--It was Quite Amazing--Super Effects good Story Good No Name Actors on their way to Becoming Infamous and all that Yada Yada. It was Nice to see something Fully Explored, but likely was due to the 2 hr time frame for this Episode, but I sidestepped again Pardon Me--This is simply an Exceptional Television Event that I would Most assuredly Suggest Everyone Check out, it won't be on the Scale of Lost or Fringe but those are the 2 exceptions of Fantastic TV since the X-Files had to fold so many Years ago! Thanx Cheers TRG:

Very Good Start To I Hope A Knockout Season!
7 July 2011
Hello Everyone Once Again: Back to Reviewing One Of My Favorite New/Returning Shows! This show is a Knockout! I Love All Aspects of this. It's A Great Idea Done Extremely Well, Kinda Reminds One Of Another Police Drama Also From Way Up North Here, Namely the Toronto Region, And it was Called 'Night Heat' The Best Show Which Never Caught On To The Masses, Which I am sure Contributed To It Only Lasting a Few Short Seasons? Anyway I Ramble, but you have to In Order to Fill Up The Ten Lines Deal, but Back to the Primary Topic--A Review of the Season Two Premiere--Which I give an 8 Because The Tension, Suspense, Drama, Excitement and so on were all Evident in Spades: This is Very Quickly Becoming Must-See TV: Great Cast, Decent Writing, Nice Location, Acceptable Plots Mostly, and Good Directing Also! This show should be Viewed by Everyone--Yes Everybody--It is That Good!

Cheers TRG

Wow Really Rocks Hope They Wrap it up Sensibly!
30 April 2011
This Is Darn Good

What a Wonderful Episode, even though it Takes Many Leaps of Logic, and so On, but as In All Fringe--Logic is Never Relevant it seems here if you have been Paying Attention To Any of the Previous Episodes but I wander Pardon Me! I really Wonder if the Observers are coming Back for the End of this Season, or Will They Be Prominently Featured Next Season as so Many People are Speculating? Boy I am Really Impressed with the Writing these Past Few Shows--It is Really Getting Much Stronger every Episode seemingly--Very Good Job Writing Staff--Now Let's Wrap it up Nicely, with a Few Good Shows that Actually Make Sense, and Hopefully You Won't have to Scratch your Head too much, or View Them Repeatedly to Have them Make Sense! One Can Only Hope!

Very Solid Entry Some Clever Ideas
16 April 2011
Hello Once Again: This is the Most Intriguing Episode of Fringe so far, well Done, some Very Imaginative Story Ideas--Good Pacing--Well Written--Great Acting--All In All It Bodes Very Well For the Upcoming Wind Up of this the 3rd Season! When are the Renewals for Fox Announced for Next Season? I Really Hope They Get Away from the Current Trend of Having Olivia in Trouble all the time, it is Getting Stretched Way Too Extreme, and Got Old Way Back in the Middle of Season Two! Does anyone else find these types of Episode Make you want to Yawn? The Next 2 I think will Determine if the Series Makes it any Further! I Don't see How they Could Fumble It Now--Seems to be heading into some Very Original Story Telling! Let's Hope That all the People Following this Will Watch and Push it's Numbers Way Over The Top!

Kick Butt Series Tons Of Potential:
29 March 2011
This is 1 of the Strongest New Shows of This Season: There is So Much Potential For this to Be Truly Outstanding and Very Original! It is However Lately Suffering from What I refer to as 'Formulaic' It is Starting to Push the US Bravado Storyline too Much as 'We are The US, if you don't like it We will Blow you to Kingdom Come' In that US Firepower is Too Evident in far Too Many Shows Nowadays! I hope this Gets Renewed and Develops Into the Amazing Show it seems to have the Potential to Become! Taylor Cole is in fact the Hottest Girl On TV at the Moment! Amazing how the Creator of all Seems to have got Stuck in Creating 2 almost Identical Women: (Her and Ms Fox seems like Twins almost Absolutely Amazing though Taylor is somehow Much Much Hotter!) But I Digress.....

Keeps A Bunch Of Minor Characters Involved Very Nicely!
26 March 2011
This is One of the Stronger Episodes for Season 3, Particularly the big event. Hopefully we get a Satisfactory Storyline out of this Event? This is The BEST SHOW ON TV!(Also Like Detroit 187) Keep it up People: This Show has To Stick Around! Does anyone Know when the Rest of this Seasons Episodes Are Going to Air? Will They Just keep coming every Fri Night? Hopefully The Cab Driver Appears in More Episodes, and I cannot wait to see more of The Observers--and Eagerly Await their Intention Being Revealed: Does everyone like this Lincoln Character cause I think he is Too Smarmy! Nice to see Charlie getting some more Significant Screen Time Also! This can Only Get Better! Cheers T:

Very Good Addition:
26 January 2011
A Very Good Show: Good Plot twists, Great Character Development, and Plenty of intrigue and Action to go around! It seems you have to watch each new 1 very Closely, cause they (the Writers) often seem to Throw in a lot of Wicked Breaking Ball Stuff that just blows you away when it is shown, stuff you wouldn't likely have guessed was coming, particularly if you have not been paying attention during Previous Shows: Hmnn Odd thing for a person to say! I really hope this show gets a Full Pickup as it is 1 of the Better Shows available on TV: However I really liked Miami Medical & Three Rivers and they are both History, so maybe I know very Little! But I Digress! Cheers T:

The Cape: Scales (2011)
Season 1, Episode 4

Action Aborad a Classic Train: Most Cool:
24 January 2011
Not as Good as Previous Attempts, but quite enjoyable, regardless of some weak Plot Points! The Character of Orwell is beginning to Mature into a Formidable adversary for anyone challenging The Cape, who it seems is played by someone I've never Heard of before (though he does look very Familiar, I'm sure I've seen him on Shows Before, and when I recall, I'm sure it will be a Big relief!) But I digress, casting a person in the Lead who I have not watched before, often makes me dislike a Show, but since this is Brand Spanking New, I will reserve Judgment until at least a few have aired, if it survives that is! Saying all this I still like this episode Very Much and will now Continue to catch it Because I love Summer Glau, and will watch her to see how good an actress she is developing into:

Thanx for Tuning in: Cheers T:
