Not the worst, could do better

OK, I enjoyed the movie from its start until the scene before the last one! This is by far not the worst movie that came out these last years in this genre! But it has several missing points in the story!

First thing first, the idea was really cool and the image quality is very nice! The more these young people go beneath, more their "inner fear" takes the upfront and comes hunting them! This idea was cool too but the director should've told us that before the scene itself in order for us to feel the pain and understand it! The phone scene was useless because they only revealed the "inner fear" related to it at the end of the movie!

For me the worst part of the movie was the final scene! I mean... Coooomoooooonnn! They went to the gates of hell and got away that easily? The last scene smells very bad the N°2 "The return" to come! If I didn't give this movie a better note, it's only for the Sh**y ending and nothing else.... If it was better, I would have given probably an 8 or a 9!

Killing Season (2013)

Not the best but not the worst by far

I see comments from people insulting the writers and actors for ignorance in history and movie. Being myself a huge fan of History and a big History book writer, I am always the first to stand and yell about the shame the movies are!

But hey, for this movie I am not doing this. The reason? I sens that the producers/director had something else in mind. History changes always with the perception of Human mind. If you lived something from one side or another, the perception won't be the same thus History won't be the same. For me, only one thing was the key, the central element of that movie... hatred! And that my friends, we felt it. It was clear that Travolta saw what happened in a way when DeNiro saw it at the opposite... but when both of them were in that forest, they only were trying to kill each other or for Travolta, trying to admit DeNiro that he has done something wrong. But what is wrong or not? Who are them and who are we to say?

Truth changes with camps and is not universal and Hatred naturally human! That was the guideline in this movie!

Dexter (2006–2013)

Bye Dex'

Bye Dexter! You will be missed! For me, Dexter is the best TV show till now. The emotions we felt with Dexter were powerful, the voice off is always very "philosophical" and Dexter's Dad character was used with the best effect. As if he was the conscience of Dexter, always appearing when Dexter was about to do something "not by the code" or shall we say stupid.

I am pleased with the end that the producers gave to Dexter, but a little disappointed with the last 30s-1 minute which was truly too much! (Even though I get why they did show this to us). Boy, I'm gonna miss that show for sure! And I hope that Michael C. Hall will come back with another TV show after Six Feet Under and Dexter! He surely played 2 of the best TV characters of the 21st century!

Oblivion (I) (2013)

Boooooriiiing

Wow! Once again Tom Cruise showed us his lack of acting talent!

Boring and long movie with a sort of message that at the end it isn't even a message... I lost hours of my life today watching this romantic movie disguised as a sci-fi movie! Not good at all! Not!

I guess the director wanted to create some kind of ideology kind of movie by bringing hope to a sad world and by pointing out the "Destiny" fact but first of, you get bored. You have the same music at each scene, scenes are extremely slow... besides 2-3 action scenes, there isn't anything going on.

I really had this feeling of watching a documentary on a full HD channel and nothing more.... oh maybe a documentary promoting the Scientology. Wonder why Cruise was in it... One word describes this movie: Boring!!!

Dead Man Down (2013)

Good job

OK the movie is clearly not the greatest movie of all time, but in the end I did pass a really good time and enjoyed the time I spent watching it.

A deja vu story but with a more romantic touch to it... here we don't talk about a stupid thriller/ action movie in which we see fights and killings for 2 hours. Love & Family are strong notes that change the way to see the story... and in the end, great battle scenes that will make Bruce Willis go nuts!

By far not the the worst film of the past 2 years! In fact, this is the perfect movie to watch if there isn't anything to see on TV and nothing else to do for the night!

Evil Dead (2013)

Sam goes Evil

Well! How to put this! At first I didn't know what to think specially since I saw the trailer and knew that there won't be any Ash... I was like "Damn, no Ash... it's not gonna be good". But well, let's say that this 2nd remake of Evil Dead 1 is: A). The best if you judge by the "horror" kind. B). Normal remake if you searched for a good laughing session.

I always loved Evil Dead... the hole package! And I always loved it because it was fun. Ash cutting his own hand or the laugh scene! Genius stuff! But in this remake we are in a more "horror" and not funny movie although there are some funny dialogs! The story is told real good and it is fun to compare the old and the new with different scenes! Even though I wasn't scared by watching the movie, my girlfriend who is really not used to Horror movies had goosebumps on several scenes.

I particularly loved the winks towards Ash (The Hand, the chainsaw,etc) but I guess that if they kept Ash in the movie, they were just forced to do a funny movie and this was not the objective! And if with Ash it wasn't funny, we were all gonna be frustrated! So excellent job!
