John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019)
typical hollywood crap
I enjoyed the first two installments of John Wick very much but I felt this movie was too much over the top. It has no real plot and the action is just not real. It looks like other movies of this type where they have to up the game every sequel until it becomes ludicrous. The gore was too much considering this was a cartoon version of John Wick. I just wish they would stick with what made the first movies successful and not try to outdo themselves each time.
American Odyssey (2015)
mostly good
I think this show has lots of promise but there are too many plot lines that are done over and over. It must be hard to come up with a totally original plot nowadays. I have to watch the next episode as soon as I can because they keep you in suspense and end the episode at a crucial point in the plot. I hope the season finale doesn't do that. It usually takes too long for the next season to wait to see what happens so I don't remember the details of the last season. I think this show is mostly original but like I said earlier, they have several plot lines that I have seen is several other shows. I also think that the characters tend to do the worst thing is certain situations that seem to be plot contrivances and not what intelligent people would do.
Castle: Probable Cause (2012)
cliché after cliché
Don't the people who found this episode interesting watch ANY other movies. There were too many clichés to count. The serial killer Jerry Tyson could come and go ANYWHERE without leaving clues. All of the evidence found was intended to make Castle and everyone act as they did but no one could plan it that exactly. The drawbridge was a cliché, Beckett and Castle not even suspecting that after all Jerry Tyson was capable of had a police escort or even paid attention to what was happening behind them and allowed their car to be rammed from behind. First Beckett shot Jerry several times then he over powered her then Castle shot him numerous times and allowed him to back up and fall into the water to allow him to escape and appear dead. I've seen this scenario too many time to count. I knew what would happen the second I saw the drawbridge but had too much respect for the show to this point to expect them to really go through with it. There was only one other episode where I was as disappointed as I am with this one. The writing is great normally but this episode really sucks.
