What A Character
3 May 2005
I have never met Larry Breeze, but after seeing this great doc by three very talented filmmakers, I feel that I have known him for years. They did an incredible job at capturing the true nature of this very talented jazz pianist, mixing music with interviews. They were able to get him to open up and share some very insightful and sometimes very funny stories about his life. Larry Breeze has so much talent and it is great to see that Brian, Elliot, and Jeff were inclined to do their piece on him. Another thing that really impressed me was that they also had the man himself at their premier. This was very well written, shot, and delivered. Thanks to the filmmakers for allowing me the opportunity to see something that I did not know existed in our community and for taking me on the inside of this great man's life. Good Job!

Incredible Film From An Incredible Filmmaker
2 May 2005
Unnoticed is an incredible film created by an incredible Filmmaker. Sean Stringer is not only one of the best, he is also an incredible individual with a heart of pure gold. He assembled a top notch cast and brought on Producers who share the same vision as he does. With all of the right elements in place, they were able to create a wonderful piece of cinema. I have seen this film four times and each time I always walk away seeing something new. The cinematography is great, the acting works for the characters, and the musical elements give the film an edge. The finale always manages to bring a tear to my eye because of the truth that it invokes. My hat goes off to everyone who came together to make this film happen. I have met a few of the cast members and they are as real as anyone that you could meet. Their on screen persona spills over into their real lives and they are all approachable individuals. Jenifer Hart does an incredible job as the villain and her acting proves the talent in this woman, because as a real person, she is an absolute sweetheart. I love this movie and I expect these very talented people to be more NOTICED than not. Great job!

This Is Why I Love This Guy
10 March 2005
Robert Rodriguiz is one director who is not afraid to share his film-making secrets with all of us other aspiring filmmakers who haven't made it to the big time...yet. He is very interested in helping filmmakers tap into their inner creative resources by being original and not having to throw big cash into the equation to solve simple problems. I have learned so much from this great and talented director. Thanks to Robert, I am now a filmmaker myself. I have finished my first feature film "The Mind's Eye," and I am in pre-production on my next feature "Wide Open." Roberts book "Rebel Without A Crew" is also an invaluable source for beginning filmmakers that goes along great with all of the 10 Minute Film Schools that can be found on all of Roberts films. He is the only director that I have seen do this and to me, that makes him the filmmakers best friend,

The Ten Minute Film Schools are invaluable learning tools. Oh, and the Puerco Pibil is incredible. I make it on a regular basis now.
