SuperBook (1981–1983)

Awesome! Clean! ANIME!-May contain Spoilers- READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I'm a big Anime fan and also a Christian so Superbook is a good one for me. I'm also a big fan of Tatsunoko Animation Studios, they did one of my absolute other favorite anime, such as Macross aka Robotech and Speed Racer. That's so cool, I liked the idea of a Christian oriented anime, it's just totally AWESOME! It has classic Japanese animation that reminds you of Speed Racer. I have only seen two episodes of this retro anime and I hope to find more of these on Video or HOPEFULLY DVD one day. If your a religious person who likes anime just like me, this one is for you! It's very hard to find a good anime that doesn't have SO much suggestive content nowadays. I just realized just a few years ago that this was an anime, I got SOOOO excited about it! I had this one VHS of Superbook for years and didn't know about it but when I first saw Superbook, it was 1993 or 1994 or something I didn't even know what anime was yet! It was Sailor Moon that introduced me to anime, which is my #1 favorite Anime of all time! I like the Japanese version the best even though there's some content in it that I don't agree with but The story and characters are just awesome. Anyway back to Superbook! This gives you an entertaining perspective of the BIBLE, an excellent tool for young children but remember a note to those very paranoid parents, please Read carefully: The series does NOT show the Bible stories with 100% Accuracy to the Real BIBLE but gives the kids the important morals of the stories and what's really important like for ex: God loves everybody, HE gave us his son Jesus so we can be with him, Christmas is about the birth of Christ, etc. I hope this was helpful to you! The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus (1985 TV Movie)

Interesting but very dark(Spoilers)

I saw this when I was very young and it scared me very much especially King Aqwa, his horns and just the way he looked freaked me out. Two years ago I saw it again and I found it quite interesting but very dark. It's most certainly not the typical special. Rankin/Bass did a great job and they always have very special characters in all of their specials. The musical score is pretty good and there's a moral in this very dark tale of Santa Claus. The good guys even look kinda creepy but cool. Like Peter Nook and those other immortals that the Great AK talk to during their story of Santa Claus. It's a bad shame that this special does not air regularly like most of the other Rankin Bass specials. If you like fantasy, you'll like this great one.

The Incredibles (2004)

The Best Family Movie Ever!(Warning contains spoilers and funny dialouge)

Okay The Incredibles is like the best Family movie in existence. Pixar sure took some risks making this movie this had more violence than expected but in a very humorous way. The Villain, Elasticgirl and Edna are so the best characters. I just loved it when Syndro or whatever his name is introducing himself to mr.incredible sends him over the ocean in the middle of his speech. In this movie when something weak is happening it's funny, it's all about the tone of voice you know. They left room for a sequel and if they do make one I hope it's like the success of Toy Story 2 but better. This Movie should of received a PG rating due to more violence and that one funny but suggestive line: "You married Elasticgirl? You also got BUSY!!!!" That cracks me up! YOU MUST SEE IT!

Castle in the Sky (1986)

Best Anime Movie ever

God bless Hayao Miyazaki for making such an excellent film. Castle in The Sky is an awesome movie. It also features an awesome actress who does the voice of Sheetah. Anna Paquin is hot! The plot is good even though the crystal thing cliche is so over rated but this movie was originaly made in the 80's so the crystal plot was new back then. The music is great. It's just awesome I hope Disney will make a good move to help release Miyazaki's other films on DVD such as Nausica.

Robotech (1985)

The greatest anime of all time

Robotech is one of my favorite anime of all time. I love the old 80's style of animation. Early Japanese animation is great, some old anime is even better than the new stuff. Robotech is a very detailed series in Japan it's called Macross. One day I would like to see the japanese version. I have all of them on DVD except volume 8 which is part of the Robotech Masters series(season 2). The charaters are so unique and different and the love story is so much better than those other cliches used in today's anime, video games and movies. If you love watching the series you should also try Robotech Battlecry, even though you are using a character that doesn't even exist in the series it's a good game for any Robotech fan. If you are new to anime, Robotech is the perfect anime to start with. Robotech was one of my first.
