Love Again (I) (2023)

Cute and romantic in the best way

I missed old school romantic movies who doesnt need to become vulgar or make its protagonist humiliated through the whole movie.

Love again is so sweet of a film.

The two leading actors are loveable with good chemistry. The rhythm of the film is great. It goes by the book but who cares? There's magic that will make you feel warm and cozy. Oh, and the music from Dion is pretty cool too.

Watch it alone, with your partner or with your date and you'll definitely have a great time. Cinema needs more movies like this one. It doesnt have to get too complicated. Just deliver a simple and beautiful story with likeable characters.

The Passenger (2021)

Cool little gem

Spanish thriller full of horror, humor and fine practical (and some CGI) effects. The monsters look like demonic zombies. There are splatter and some interesting comic shots which I really liked. The directors put a lot of emphasis on their characters, something that makes you care about them (surprisingly there is also heart). Even the 'annoying' snob teenager has managed to make her likable, which is not easy. You won't find bad performances. The driver in particular - a sharp, talkative guy - is a real delight. The film doesn't take itself entirely seriously, but it respects the rules of the genre. For example, when they wants to show a scene of suspense and horror, they won't ruin it by making humor, like in other movies.. An enjoyable hour and a half, I just think it deserved a better climax for the finale.

Half of this "doc" is about color and gender and toxic white men. Thats what Netflix thinks about movie cliches. What a piece of nonsense.

This is excited cinema at the likes of Sam Raimi craziness and fun. We need more bold and fresh ideas like this. This is a ghost story, a slasher and a monster movie, highly entertaining.

Certain Women (2016)

An excellent film if you want to get to sleep

I saw this because i like First Cow, but Certain Women seems there is no point. Everything is so slow and exhausted. Everyone is bored in this movie.Even the animals are bored in this movie.

Shadow in the Cloud (2020)

Awesome genre movie

This is a monster flick and an action adventure with great dialogue, constant surprises and top visual effects. It's a crazy journey that feels fresh till the end, with a strong female lead. I have it a minus 1 cause I feel that it go a liiitle too far with the politics at the end, but otherwise is a fun ride.
