Inside (2023)
My life feels shorter now!!
I can't believe I stayed with this movie through the entire thing solely because I was waiting for something to happen. Nothing eventful ever did happen and I'll never be able to get back my 1 hour 38 minutes of lost time.
Usually I love every movie that Willem Defoe stars in, but I have to say this was his all time worst movie he's ever done. You can't expect a mainstream actor like Willem Defoe to carry an entire movie and literally have zero action, comedy, mystery (the only mystery was why they spent the money to make this movie) going on in the movie. I was so disappointed when it was all said and done and the movie was over. I literally felt like I had lost a part of my life from the lost time I spent watching this total and complete flop.
God I hope he doesn't turn into another Bruce Willis.
Emergency (2022)
Wokism Propaganda
From beginning to end, nothing but wokism bs propaganda. The filmaker wants you to believe that the sole reason for the white cop pulling the gun on Kunle (black character) was ONLY based on his skin color. The whole thing is absurd, right down to the 911 calls. Such a waste of some talented actors on this joke of a storyline. This just adds one more rock to the proverbial pile regarding the divisive nature this country has diluted itself to. Growing up in the 70's 80's and 90's in Boston affords me the insight to make this kind of judgement call.
Could you only imagine if they had called 911 right when they got home and found Emma? Lol
I gave it 2 stars as opposed to 1 only because there were some brief moments of comedy albeit few and far between, that made me laugh.
Adrenaline (2015)
Your Time Would Be Better Spent Walking The Dog
So bad that I'm not even sure where to start. The first thing I'll say is don't waste your time unless you're willing to sit through an abundance of cliché's that come one after another from start to finish. I typically only write a review in situations that warrant a red flag, so that viewers don't waste their time.
This movie runs the gamut on just about everything, poorly written, poor choice of actors, a film score that just doesn't belong with the story, etc. etc... If you're a "gear head" then you're going to be even more disappointed because a lot of the mechanical references are flat out laughable to the point you would actually be embarrassed for the actor/character.
I'm pretty sure I could grab some local racers and make an equally as bad movie, but for a lot less money. I'll even go out on a limb and say my actors/characters could deliver funnier lines without all the cliché's added in. To sum this up....go take the dog for a walk or play a board game with your kids/friends!!
Desecrated (2015)
Biggest Joke For 2015
In all actuality this "movie" was ready for release in 2012 then scheduled to be released in 2013 but I'm assuming that didn't happen because it was just THAT bad. If there were negative numbers on the voting scale it would have received a -3. So ultimately they got lucky because I HAD to rate it with a +1.
The premise for the movie wasn't the problem, it was poorly scripted along with a lack of background information regarding ALL the character's. Nothing made sense, nothing tied things together as to why they were happening. There was never any flow to the movie that held my interest. The ONLY reason I watched the whole movie was so that I could write this review and warn others from wasting their time.

Keep on Keepin' On (2014)
Worth Spending The Money To View Or Buy!!
This is the type of movie that deserves attention and filled theater seats. It's current timeline (being a documentary) also manages to bring you back in time because of characters like Terry, Jones, Miles Davis etc...
The old days of jazz are made relevant again in this heart touching story of inexplicable talent and chance encounters that were somehow meant to be.
You get to see a chain reaction of mentoring through decades of very talented jazz musicians. The audience gets more than their moneys worth watching this movie. Not only are we treated to the music aspect, but we also witness an undying love story between Gwen and Clark that tugs at the heart strings.
Anyone who enjoys music would have a difficult time NOT enjoying this movie. A must see!!
