Little Miss Sunshine (2006)
A great and highly enjoyable film you should definitely see!
"Little Miss Sunshine" tells the story of the strange yet funny family, the Hoovers. This film shows how this odd yet quirky family makes an outrageous journey to let their seven year old daughter, Olive compete in the "Little Miss Sunshine" beauty pageant in California. The film really incorporates the message that it's not the destination but the journey you take as you see this family embark on a journey like no other.
There are great performances from some of the cast such as from Abigail Breslin, Alan Arkin and Paul Dano who do a great job in fulfilling their roles. This is truly a great feel good film which anyone who gets the chance to see it should definitely watch it.
Up (2009)
One of Pixar's best films to date, it is truly uplifting.
The film at first seemed unappealing but after watching this I adored it and made it one of my favorite animation films. The script is truly original with the story of a retired balloon sales man trying to pursuit his and his wife's dreams of going to South America all seems well on his balloon floating house until he encounters an eight year-old wilderness explorer who he must let tag along.I'll try not to reveal to much but on his journey he meets crazy and unique characters such as dogs which can talk with special collars which transmit their thoughts and a tall flightless bird. Don't be fooled by this odd story line it will make you laugh and cry with the compelling and sweet plot along with it's great quality cinematography. This is a movie that you must see and is great for all ages. The film illustrates sometimes the biggest adventures aren't the ones you set out looking for.
Jurassic Park (1993)
A classic tale that will be enjoyed by all.
This was a great and classic film which the world will remember. This is truly some of Spielberg's greatest work and I couldn't love it more. Jurassic Park is one of the three movies in the Jurassic Park trilogy. Jurassic Park is about John Hammond a dinosaur enthusiast who constructs a dinosaur theme park with living biological attractions. These are no animatronic animals but dinosaurs that are created to live and breath the air of man. As usual their is a dark side to every fantasy and the dream is threatened when the park systems break down, all hell breaks loose leaving the tourists and workers left for survival. Their are some great scenes with great uses of CGI and animatronic dinosaurs along with some extraordinary performances, cinematography all in this compelling adventure film.
