What do you rate a film that makes you laugh and cry and feel good at the end?

Fun for the whole family. Good for Netflix for finding great entertainment like this.

Some familiar faces and some new ones. Give this director some more good scripts, please.

Fun dialogue, nice performances, and a solid story along with smart directing make this one worth watching.

This is a legit funny movie. Sure, it's got some "check your brain at the door," but the interaction between the characters makes a lot forgivable. Kumail and Bautista keep this one going. 7/10.

Worth watching despite how disturbing

Super Intense. At times, difficult to watch. Samuel L Jackson surprised throughout. Carey Anne Miss brings a superior performance. Not a family pic. Asks who are we and the answers are disturbing. Worth watching. 7/10.

Joe Bell (2020)

When Gary Sinese is only as good as everyone else, you know the acting is top notch.

Mark Wahlberg acts his ass off in this one. No guns or aliens or spies to hide behind. This is a brilliant performance. And the young actor Reid Miller is amazing. Connie Britten was better than ever and child Maxwell Jenkins steals a scene or two.

Not for the faint of heart or light viewing. 8/10.

Another gem on Netflix. Ron Howard amazes. Glenn Close is a chameleon and gives a powerhouse performance. Amy Adams shines and disturbs.

Everyone brings their best here.

This is a bit like a fine play. It's all about the characters. It all takes place in a single location. We care about the people and their relationships in the short time we get to spend with them. And they leave us thinking about them after the story. Well done.
