A Good Deal for Movie Enthusiasts
30 October 2023
I'm not particularly fond of pro 2k (made after the year 2000) Eyptian movies, and although I generally like Al Sakka as an actor, I had previously seen him in another film where he played a cop, and I didn't enjoy it. I was concerned that he might repeat the same role in this movie, but to my pleasant surprise, his performance was much better, blending seriousness and humor effectively. The dialogue, however, felt a bit rushed, as if the actors were simply reading from the script. Nonetheless, the captivating story overshadowed this minor issue, allowing me to truly enjoy watching the film. I would have liked to provide more details about the movie, but I encourage those who haven't seen it to approach it with no expectations, just as I did.

8/10.

The Escape (1991)

The Good is Evil; the Right is Very Very Wrong.
30 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What is this film? And how did it manage to hold the audience captive throughout the entire screening? And what about Ahmed Zaki's outstanding talent? This giant who left us too soon, his body departed but his cinematic legacy will shine forever like the midday sun.

Don't you feel like this film connects us and keeps us glued to the screen with a strange magnetism? Is it the direction of the late Akbar El-Tayeb, or is it the result of Montassir's (played by Ahmed Zaki) repeated killings and his own eventual demise in the espionage tale of Mohamed Wafi? Or is it the magic that emanates from the Upper Egyptian accent, which moans with such emotion that it touches our hearts without explanation? What an extraordinary combination of cinematic humanity and creativity!

Did the honest officer's betrayal add another layer to the story, or did the dancer's love contribute to our affection for it? Or did Ahmed Zaki surpass even himself in his transformation from the innocent victim to the superior killer in his repeated escapes? Perhaps it's because Ahmed Zaki embodied a complex character who embodies the emotions of the broken, innocent victim and the strong, assertive killer who imposes his will on society. Did you notice that the innocent child remained alive within the killer throughout his thrilling adventures?

What is this film, and why do we feel its power so strongly? In fact, I have only questions, and perhaps the questions in describing a film like this are far better than the answers.

Yes, this film is a true masterpiece of Egyptian cinema. The fugitive seeking revenge for his wife's dishonorable act, this killer is also the obedient son who willingly surrendered himself to protect his sick, elderly mother. He is the loyal friend of the officer, attempting to shield him from the bullets of Wafi the traitor with his own body. He is also the man suspended between heaven and earth, lying on a net tied between trees, watching the soaring hawks.

What about the soundtrack of "Al-Harub" which is simply nothing but outstanding? The epic-themed Upper-Egyptian traditional music perfectly captures the mood and atmosphere of each scene, enhancing the emotional impact of the film and adding an extra layer of depth to the story. This original and unique soundtrack is a true work of art, and it is clear that a great deal of thought and care went into its creation.

The questions may never end in a film that will never be replicated. Ahmed Zaki needs no praise or testimony from me or anyone else. His history, studded with cinematic jewels, speaks for itself better than any of us, be they specialized critics or cinema-loving viewers. With his unique ability to embody his characters, here in The Escape, he was relaxed and showed the great energy within him.

Finally, I would like to mention something that may seem strange to some. After watching the film more than ten times, I often find myself asking, "Can the international filmmaker Youssef Chahine direct even one scene of the same quality as those in this film?" This question is not meant to detract from the great Chahine, but rather to acknowledge the value of El-Tayeb.

'The End': The Start of Egyptian Sci-Fi Drama and Era
21 April 2023
"The End" is an Egyptian TV series that easily stole the thunder of all other shows aired in Ramadan 2020 and the years before. And while the number of series aired that year were overwhelming viewers with their formulaic soap operas that lacked fresh ideas, Youssef Al-Sharif's return, after a year of absence, brought a brand new concept to the Egyptian drama that has never been seen before. A pleasant change from the absence of science fiction films in Egyptian drama, due to production costs and lack of attention to detail or a good script, or whatever reason, but Al-Sharif seemed to be aware of that when he made this.

Set in Jerusalem, the capital of the Arab bloc, in the year 2120, after its liberation from Zionist occupation, and focuses on a range of topics, including an energy crisis, the government's rejection of free education, and the building of robots.

The atmosphere is a mix of modern days and ancient times, and while the city retaining its historical character, the government officials use modern rides, weapons, gadgets and technology. And new jobs are introduced, such as Amr Abdel Galil's character who installs artificial body parts.

Each episode lasts for a hefty of nearly 50 minutes, without any dull moment; it's a challenge you don't get to see that often in other Arabic series.

The soundtrack is a mix of techno and electronic effects, as well as traditional qanun music, reflecting the originality where the story took place, and hinting at future delimmas that might occur in that time.

While the series shows the superiority of Arab civilization, the language used in devices is in English, which seems like a directorial oversight, or was he hinting at something?

The actors, including Youssef El Sharif and Sahar Al Sayegh, perform well, but Ahmed Wafik lacks charisma as the villain.

In the end, 'The End' promised an engaging series right from the start, and boy have they not delivered!

An Hour and a Half of a Blast!
15 April 2023
From the very beginning, I had high expectations that I would be watching an exceptional and captivating movie. However, I was initially apprehensive about the director, Wael Ihsan, who is primarily known for his comedies rather than dramas. Nevertheless, the superb screenplay by Ahmed Abdullah, the unique vision of Wael Ehsan, the expert camera work of Sameh Selim, and the exceptional performances of the entire cast are the reasons why this film has been a huge success.

Each artist gave their best performance, with some outshining others, such as Karim Mahmoud, Muhammad Imam, and Ahmed Azmy, who delivered a fairly good performance. Despite having only eight scenes per character, the cast gave their best and left a lasting impression.

Additionally, there was a "star" who was not visible but was heard in every scene. Ahmed Abdullah's writing skills and his exceptional ability to convey the events of a single day, combined with the success of his previous films, "Cabaret" and "Al-Farah," motivated Ahmed Al-Sobky to risk everything he had to ensure that the film was produced in such an outstanding manner. Directed by Wael Ehsan, the film's final scene showcased his creativity and vision, allowing the audience to empathize with the characters. Sameh Selim's camera work made me feel like a passenger on the train.

In conclusion, this is an excellent and respectable movie that can be watched without any hesitation or embarrassment. This film is the best to have been presented since the revolution, competing only in terms of location but exceeding expectations in every other aspect. I have high hopes for this movie's success and expect it to win many awards.

Avatar TWW: Potential Pros and Cons
15 April 2023
Instead of writing a review, I thought of providing some potential pros and cons based on my own point of view.

Pros:
  • Visually stunning: "Avatar" is known for its groundbreaking visual effects and 3D technology, and pushing the boundaries in this area.

  • Familiar characters: The featuring of many of the same characters from the original film, which was appealing to fans who are invested in their stories.

  • Strong director: James Cameron, who directed the original "Avatar," is also directing the new movie. He has a track record of creating successful blockbusters, which bode well for this film's success.

Cons:
  • Delayed release: The new "Avatar" movie has faced multiple delays, which may caused some fans to lose interest or become frustrated.

  • High expectations: Given the success of the original "Avatar," there have been high expectations for the new movie to live up to. Did it fail to meet these expectations? To those who think so, it could be seen as a disappointment.

  • Lack of originality: Some critics have argued that the original "Avatar" was derivative of other films and stories, and there are concerns that this new movie may suffered from a similar lack of originality.

A Man Called Otto Falls Short Despite Promising Premise
15 April 2023
Well, this is a film that leaves much to be desired. The acting, in particular, feels amateurish and unpolished, making it seem like a school play acted by beginners.

I'm not sure if this movie is based on a novel, but I guess I would've had a much better joy reading it.

Many people have compared "A Man Called Otto" to Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino," but the comparison is not entirely apt. While both movies deal with themes of redemption and self-reflection, the version of this grumpy man called Otto lacks the emotional impact and depth of its predecessor.

In the end, this movie fails to live up to its potential. While it may be worth watching because it has 'Tom Hanks' in it and we all love Tom Hank's amateurish acting in all his movies; we wish we could've seen it better.

Spoonful of Terror
15 April 2023
This is a horror movie that will keep you glued to your scene and wanting not to miss anything. The plot is well-crafted and will have you on the edge of your seat, anticipating what will happen next.

The cast is exceptional, with each actor fitting perfectly into their assigned role. They bring their characters to life with authenticity; some with creepiness and terror, making you feel invested in their stories.

While the storyline may not be entirely original, the film still manages to feel fresh and new. The director has done an excellent job of putting their own spin on a familiar concept, resulting in a story that is both horrifying and captivating.

I would highly recommend "Spoonful of Terror" to anyone looking for a spine-chilling horror movie experience. Whether you're a fan of the genre or just want to spend a terrifyingly good time with friends and family, this film is sure to please.

Overall, "Spoonful of Terror" is a horror movie that delivers a terrifyingly good time. Don't miss out on this creepy creepy bone-chilling film!

Heartbreak and Regret: The Unforgettable Impact of 'Atonement
8 April 2023
This is one of the saddest movies I have ever seen. Even years after first watching it, it still stays with me. The story is both beautiful and tragic, and the performances by the actors are breathtaking. The film's exploration of love, regret, and the impact of our actions on others is both heartbreaking and powerful.

The cinematography and music complement the story perfectly, creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere that lingers long after the movie is over. While it is not an easy movie to watch, it is a truly unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impact on anyone who sees it.

The Whale (2022)

A Whale That was Swimming in Shallow Waters
8 April 2023
"The Whale" is a movie that left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied. While it was okay to watch, I couldn't fully engage with the story due to a constant feeling that something was missing. One of the main issues for me was the choice of cast - Hong Chau didn't seem like the right fit for the role, and the unnecessarily overracting daughter couldn't fully convince me in her role.

However, the standout performance of Brendan Fraser was what saved the movie for me. His portrayal of a man struggling with obesity and emotional turmoil was raw and powerful, and it's a testament to his talent as an actor. Ty Simpkins also did a decent job in his role, and while his character's arc reminded me of Chris O'Donnell's role in "Scent of a Woman," it didn't quite reach the same level of depth.

Overall, "The Whale" is not a bad movie, but it lacks the depth and emotional resonance that I was hoping for. While Brendan Fraser's performance is worth watching, the other faults - particularly the casting choices - hold the movie back from being truly that great.

Repulsed and Entranced: The Unpredictable Ride of 'Tusk'
8 April 2023
"Tusk" is a horror movie that is best enjoyed with zero expectations. In fact, I highly recommend seeing it without watching any trailers or knowing anything about it. That's how I saw it, and it allowed me to fully immerse myself in the unexpected story.

The movie takes a wild and unexpected turn, which I won't spoil here, but suffice it to say, it's something I wasn't prepared for. The plot is unique and disturbing, and the atmosphere is unsettling, making for a truly memorable horror experience.

One of the most surprising aspects of the movie is the performance of a well-known actor, who is almost unrecognizable in his role. It's a testament to his versatility as an actor and adds an extra layer of intrigue to the film.

Overall, "Tusk" is a movie that should be experienced with an open mind and without preconceived notions. Its unexpected turn of events and disturbing atmosphere make for a horror experience that is both unsettling and unforgettable.

The Father (I) (2020)

Uncomfortable Yet a Must-Watch
8 April 2023
The Father tells the story of an aging man named Anthony (Sir Anthony Hopkins), who is struggling with memory loss and the gradual loss of his independence. The movie is a powerful exploration of the human condition and the devastating effects of dementia.

Hopkins delivers a masterful performance as Anthony, portraying the character's confusion, frustration, and fear with heartbreaking authenticity. The supporting cast, which includes Olivia Colman, Rufus Sewell, and Imogen Poots, is equally impressive, adding depth and nuance to their roles.

What sets "The Father" apart is its unique narrative structure. The film immerses the audience in Anthony's experience, presenting events out of order and blurring the lines between reality and delusion. This creates a sense of disorientation that mirrors Anthony's own confusion, making for a truly immersive viewing experience.

The movie is visually stunning, with a meticulous attention to detail that brings the setting to life. The cinematography is elegant and understated, creating a sense of intimacy that draws the audience into Anthony's world.

Overall, "The Father" is a moving and thought-provoking film that is sure to stay with viewers long after the credits roll. Hopkins' performance is a tour de force, and the movie's unique structure and attention to detail make it a standout in the genre of character-driven dramas.

Don't Look Up: A Powerful Satire on Our Societal Ignorance and Double Standards
8 April 2023
Don't Look Up is a movie that presents a terrifyingly realistic portrayal of our attitudes towards similar events that are happening in the world today. It effectively exposes the double standard of each side, and highlights the absurdity of our inability to take action in the face of an impending disaster.

Leonardo DiCaprio's performance is commendable, as are the performances of the rest of the cast, who brilliantly portrayed their characters with depth and nuance. The comedic elements of the film, which were necessary to tone down the tension of how serious the movie plot is, were cleverly woven into the story and did not detract from the important message the film conveys.

What truly sets Don't Look Up apart is the skillful use of irony in certain scenes, which is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The movie is a powerful critique of modern society, highlighting our tendency to ignore the truth when it is inconvenient or uncomfortable. It serves as a wake-up call, urging us to take action before it's too late.

Overall, Don't Look Up is a timely and impactful film that deserves to be seen. It effectively blends elements of comedy and drama to create a movie that is both entertaining and thought-provoking, and its message will stay with viewers long after the credits roll.

The mysterious beach of old age explodes psychological and physical ailments
15 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The worst nightmare a person can go through is being imprisoned with his fears, or his weaknesses that penetrate his nervous, psychological and physical range, and organic diseases are the living embodiment of the accumulation of obsessions, shortcomings and anxiety, and it is the inevitable result of our negative feelings that are the cause of what most people suffer from diseases.

And according to how these feelings accumulate (i.e. Their type, the extent of their ability and their recurrence) the form of diseases varies, and each of us carries his own illness that may be diagnosed medically for different reasons in theory, but these reasons remain a front for what the stresses that the nervous system is exposed to cause due to dilemmas and psychological crises.

In the movie "Old" directed by "Night Shyamalan" - production 2021 - a group of individuals are suspended on a unique beach, a beach in which the equations of time vary, so one minute is considered as years, due to the nature of this beach geology, it is surrounded by towering rocks that have accumulated It has some mineral materials that have given the whole place a very special temporal nature, a nature that speeds up the passing of years and steals ages, and develops everything that hides behind the long, slow years of those ages.

At first glance, it will seem to you that the heroes face the fears of old age, but in fact, we find that they are forced to confront the ailments of their bodies, and thus face all the feelings that were the reason for these ailments to enable them in the first place. It worsened her condition, and eventually reached the climax stage.

That beach was an incubating environment for the viruses of these diseases and their original causes, making all members of the group - both the sick and the unsick - trapped with the effects of the deterioration of bodies and minds in their primitive form, without chemical and temporal painkillers that disturb our understanding of their origin.

The tumor of betrayal and the pressures of separation.. the character of the heroine

Most of the group, sent ashore by the mysterious arrangement of the management of a hotel in which they chose to spend their vacation; They were suffering from chronic diseases, diseases that were at the beginning of their control over their bodies, the heroine who worked in a museum had a benign tumor in her stomach, and the surgeon was suffering from signs of mental disorder, and his wife, skinny and proud of her beauty, her broken bones complained of calcium deficiency, and another woman from The group had epileptic fits from time to time, and one last singer had just found out he had a strange blood disorder.

We can link with a deeper eye between the nature of certain diseases carried by some of the injured in the group, and the nature of their personalities and the crises they face in current and previous times in their lives. We find the heroine, who went through a period before she came to the beach with mixed and stressful feelings about her relationship with her family, so we find her in front of the appearance of another person who thought she was She tends to have him in her life instead of her husband, as well as her final decision to separate, despite her husband's adherence to her, and thus her inner vision of herself as a traitor who bears alone the responsibility for wounding his children, and working to deprive them of stability next to their parents together.

This kind of emotional confusion is enough psychological pressure for a tumor to appear in her stomach. Periods of stress and relatively long tense times are both of the many reasons that are placed under the category of motives for the formation of tumors, especially the benign type.

The hero while feeling the attack of the surgeon, but he does not see him because of his poor eyesight

Doctor's jealousy.. external cold and internal ignition

On the other hand, when we contemplate the mental disorder that was arguing with the doctor's brain before he came to the beach, we will find it as an expected result of the shape of his life and the way he confronts its vocabulary. On the beach; That there is always an underlying tension in the same doctor regarding that wife, he is jealous of her without daring to tell her that truth directly, because he feels inferior about his age that is more than her age.

In addition to the image that he puts in his mind about the difference in the appearance and presence of each of them, believing in his inner self that she is superior to him, and that he does not deserve her, so he lets her talk to him sometimes in a way that hurts him, and exaggerates his indifference about her attempt to draw the attention of everyone around her, and even woo the surrounding men. She was like the waiter who brought them breakfast, without scruples because he and his old mother were at the same table, as if she was completely certain of the way he would receive a similar act.

This not insignificant gulf between what the doctor harbors in his stomach, and what he shows of reactions; It is enough to turn his brain into a critical situation in which his mental health deteriorates, as he is a weak character who fears confrontation, and drops all her anger and hatred on herself, who is not confident and feels inferior, and thus she is too weak for her mental system to bear all this intellectual and emotional chaos.

The heroine is stunned by the change in the shape of her children and their transformation in age

The doctor's beautiful wife..a sexy look and fragile bones

The doctor's wife herself suffers from a chronic organic problem, in which her beautiful body is forced to lack calcium, as it is an apparently unnoticeable problem, and she does not have any physical embodiment seen on the body. An attractive woman, confident on the outside, but fragile and shaky on the inside. She depends on her beauty to feel that she exists. She has no other reason to convince her to be distinguished. She is terrified and trembling between herself and herself.

And while its body appears in the best condition, as well as its bones that are prepared for you to be resilient, they are in fact liable to collapse horribly, as we will see later, when the effects of time acceleration that the beach reflects on all members of the group on it begins.

The heroes are amazed at the decomposition of the body of the woman who died less than an hour ago

The loneliness of the beach and the obsessions of dying... the symbolism of old age

There is no need to know the psychological background of the disease of the remaining two persons (the epileptic woman and the singer with a blood disorder), as the previous models were enough to explain enough that all members of the group became stuck with this shore in a matter of facing the fears and obsessions that filled them for a long time, Although from a closer look it seems the question of how much time this beach steals from their lives, which will lead to their death within two days at most. But no, the real battle between them and this beach revolves around placing them in one area in front of their points of defeat and their underlying crises.

Even the good woman with epilepsy, whose only concern was the issue of aging itself, that we have come to know about, we see her right before her death mentioning her desire to escape from this beach, to return to her sister who always thought that her old age was the obstacle that was standing between them, It limits their communication and always makes them at odds, as this is a woman who lived interrupting her sister because she thought she was old enough to hinder the course of their relationship.

You can simply guess the true impact of that rupture on her psychological system, and therefore what old age represents as a symbolic summary of the form of her suffering that she may not have known anything about her truth before she came to this horrific beach, then she loses her husband, and after him becomes alone In order to see the dark areas hidden from within.

Losing control in order to survive.. Siege of the dark side

Everyone was trapped with his dark side, but in fact he was experiencing the nature of this darkness, he tested its reality and the extent of its deterioration and its mastery of it, whether it was an irreversible, demonic darkness, or a reluctant darkness that still had the option of turning and correcting the course.

When the surgeon and his wife got stuck on this beach, they went further on their lonely side, their diseases worsened, and ended in a fate that reveals that they have lost complete control of their inner demons that are finally released in a frightening way that reached the height of his grief.

As for that good man, husband of a woman with epilepsy, he died trying to survive, sincerely trying to save everyone, just as he had done from the first moment he and his wife set foot on the beach, and they both showed a pure and honest cooperative spirit.

Epilepsy lady..the end of the only patient who responded to the experiment

That wife who also died while clinging to sponge sticks to catch up with her husband's attempt, and spontaneously confess her desire to correct the mistake of her relationship with her sister, and to maintain the desire to return for her sake. This woman, who was suffering from epilepsy, is the only one who has succeeded with the doses of medicine given to her by a handful of scientists who send batches of people on this beach for the purpose of experiments.

The Best of Many to Come (Reviewed in 2021)
8 January 2021
It is 2021, 21 years since Final Destination has been released. And what I consider to a be a fresh, original and a major upgrade to the Horror, Gore and Thriller genre, that no other movie could come up with till date. The villain is well-known, yet hard to be fought or understood. The victims are random people like you and I, so we can all relate. The story is attractive; somehow realistic; the actors were great just like everything else in this movie. And although this is my second favorite movie of the 5 series, I give it 10/10 because it was and still is the best for the better films to come.

What makes a good movie?
1 January 2021
Yes, it's just 'another' zombie movie and it's not the top choice on my plate, hence it was Beautifully made! And despite the fact that it might had a few many flows, a few many goofs, unrealistic/unexplained plotholes, all that didn't really matter and it didn't distract me from being fully engaged, step-by-step, with the main characters, and fully aware of what was going on and what they were going through. Thanks for intelligent foreign facial expressions, I could've watched this movie even without subtitles and still be able to understand what was happening (I didn't btw but I'm just saying.) Ah, and when it comes to the music, it seems to just fit right in. So if you wanna know what makes a good movie, watch #Alive. You will know, and you gonna love it!

The best of the most disappointing play
28 December 2020
Ah, where do I start? I think if I haven't seen this movie I would've still have liked it. I mean Will Smith vs. a cloned, younger version of himself.. What could go wrong? Everything in this movie just felt staged and tired. I know it's Sci-Fi but normal conversations couldn't feel more fake. The acting was so bad I felt as if I was watching a play on stage. 30 minutes to the movie and I was already tired of Will Smith's slow talk and the slow music accompanied, as if he was brainwashed and just reading his lines with a dead fish eyes and no facial expressions or any effort to make you even care about what he's said. The so-called Action was bad, the CGI was bad, the story could be much better if the writers weren't that high. I wanted to discuss this a little further but.. why bother. Goodnight.

CHIPS (2017)
10/10
A Mind Upgrader that comes with the Full Package - This movie is not a joke... only.
27 December 2020
I always admired the men in blue. The uniform, their vehicles, their weapons, their tactics etc. I watch their TV series and reality shows; in films; on Facebook groups and YouTube. I'm even followed by @COPSTV on Twitter (no pun intended) I enjoyed watching the ChiPs TV Series (1977-1983) and I think it was good. And I was among the first to watch CHIPS when it came out in 2017 and I loved it.. A Lot. Three years later I watched it again for the second time and boy have I not fall in love with it even (a Lot) more. This is the type of movies that you'd be watching over and over and still be enjoying it as if you're watching it for the first time. It has everything you looking for. The story; the humor; the action; the scenery; the good actors; the music and most of all the charming women in blue. Yet it feels different, for no other movie could make me laugh in the most intense moments as a comic relief but this one. And although this movie is so unpredictable, yet everything feels right and falls in the right place to complete a great story that you wish it never ends. So you end up watching it again because you just feel that you haven't had enough of it. As for the actors, I love all Michael Pena movies (well all the ones I've seen so far). He's got a great presence and he steals every scene he's in with ease. I've seen him playing a policeman before in one of my other favorite cop movies; End of Watch (2012) but in that movie, in my opinion he had a darker and more realistic role to play. Rosa Salazar (Alita) was the one that caught my eye for her slight resemblance of my favorite on-screen female cops of all time, Jennifer Carpenter as Debra Morgan in Dexter (2006-2013).

I am totally pleased and I am highly satisfied
24 December 2020
As a child, I grew up watching the dubbed version of the Japanese animation series (Nobody's Boy Remi) in Arabic in the early 90s. Since then, it's been one of my favorite anime series/cartoons of all time, and with it I have developed my very first experience with the drama grief feelings and sadness. Shyly 30 years later, I came to know about its adaption in this movie and I was terrified that they'd ruin it for me (This has been the case in most of old good movies adaption, sequences and remakes). They say do not judge a book by its cover; but Remi's movie poster alone looked promising and it looked so familiar so, with my fingers crossed, I decided to give it a go and no, I was not disappointed. Re-watching Remi's story as an adult, I got to re-live all the characters moments and all what they go through minute by minute without being betrayed by the filmmakers to shock us with any major changes to the story but instead to a deeper and more mature adaption than the cartoon I watched as a kid. On top of all this; what I loved about this movie the most is that the filmmakers did not only stayed true to the story but they even went deeper and beyond to give you the closest resembling of Remi's main characters, and captured you inside their sad struggling atmosphere and the music was gently the cherry on top.

This is why I enjoyed watching Pixels
20 December 2020
I did NOT check any reviews or even the low rating before I got to see it. I think that played a vital role on why I truly enjoyed it.

Dad Wanted (2020)

Familiar Plot with a different but Amazing Feeling like all good movies
19 December 2020
Being a movie junkie, I probably have seen too many movies with similar plot a hundred times. But I still enjoyed this movie and I wont mind watching it again for a hundred times. And although it was almost entirely predictable, I was still enjoying every scene and enjoying how they are going to make it.

Antichrist (2009)

Masterpiece! 11/10
3 December 2020
Not only I watched Antichrist with Zero expectations but the low rating and bad reviews prepared me to actually hate it. But that soon changed within the first few minutes and the more I've seen the more I loved every scene. I felt I wasn't watching a movie with actors acting but more of leaked footages of real people unknowing that they're been filmed. 10/10 for a movie well-made and if I could rate it more I would've.

Entourage (2015)
9/10
Never heard of the TV Series.. Loved the movie
5 July 2019
I guess this is my very first review on IMDB, but I thought I must write one about "Entourage" shortly after I watched it. It is 2019, and I havent been enjoying watching most of the movies that I've been watching in the recent years. However, I picked this one out of the blues to pass my time and I didn't expect to like it (as usual) .. But man, was I wrong! This movie kept me glued to the story right from the beginning to the very end, and I really wish to find more comedy movies like this.. I highly recommend it 9/10 for the cast, the acting, the story and everything else.
