Shock Docs: Alien Invasion: Hudson Valley (2021)
Good storyline
This is an intriguing story & the evidence is amazing. However, there really is no conclusion. I was hoping this was the 1st of a series of episodes like other Discovery+ fare but instead it appears to be one more show where a lot of questions are raised but none of them are answered. I'm getting fed up with these "shock doc" shows because they don't ever have a true conclusion. Bring back the multi episode series please!

Made me jump but...
I must admit this movie made me jump several times but overall it was a mess of a movie. There were several diversions thrown in to distract you from the real "spooks" but by the 2nd half I saw through all of them. I had seen a low rated, older movie with a similar premise that actually did provide the scares and should have gotten a much better rating than this pile of dog poop, imho. I also hate how many movies use almost black screens to insinuate bad mojo is happening. Within isn't the only movie, or TV show, to do this but unless you watch in a blackout room all that's visible is a few black shadows that don't coalesce. If you're looking for a truly scary movie, look elsewhere. Oh and for my 2 cents worth, the working title was much more fitting.

Can I get that time back?
This movie was a waste of time, time I will never get back. There were some cute moments but those were spread far apart. Givens, Grier and Thigpen were excellent with the roles written for them but Wayans was too far over the top "geek". In fact, I'd say he played it more as an idiot savant than a geek. I've known better than to watch most movies by the Wayans bros for that very reason and this only proved my point. Before you knock me for being anti- superheroes, I love the old Batman and Robin and all the reincarnations. The difference is Batman, Spiderman, and Superman were handsome, intelligent men not socially awkward boy- men. I'm so happy it's over.
