Khunnas (2021)
An Engrossing Webseries
The webseries boasts a captivating storyline and remarkable direction. Saheem deserves applause for both his acting and directing skills. However, the story could have been improved as the excessive number of killings seemed illogical. Furthermore, the presence of abusive language could have been avoided altogether or appropriately censored. It was a delightful experience to witness the collaboration of numerous Crime Patrol actors, particularly the exceptional talents of Aasit, Sarfaraz, Sonam, Gazhal, and others. Watching the show left me with the impression that Saheem Khan possesses the potential to create a compelling alternative to Crime Patrol Satark produced by Optimystix. I eagerly anticipate the next season and wish them good luck.
Crimes Aaj Kal (2023)
Crimes Aaj Kal: A Glimpse into the Crime Patrol Legacy
In the world of crime television, there has always been one show that held a special place in our hearts - Crime Patrol. For years, it captivated audiences with its gripping storytelling and realistic portrayal of criminal cases. However, as time passed and production houses and directors changed, many felt that the show lost its original charm. But fret not, for there's a new contender on the block - Crimes Aaj Kal.
In the realm of crime shows, there are numerous contenders vying for viewership. However, none can truly compare to the legacy of Crime Patrol. Its authenticity and dedication to presenting real-life crime stories set it apart from the rest. So when Crimes Aaj Kal entered the scene, expectations were high.
Crimes Aaj Kal serves as a worthy successor to Crime Patrol. What makes it even more appealing is that it hails from the same production house, Optimystix, which has been responsible for the success of its predecessor. Additionally, the series is helmed by the same director, Subbu Iyer, who played a crucial role in shaping the identity of Crime Patrol.
While Crimes Aaj Kal manages to capture the essence of its predecessor, there is one aspect that leaves viewers longing for more - the acting of the newcomers. Although the new cast members put in commendable performances, one can't help but wonder what could have been achieved if seasoned actors had taken the stage. The show features a mix of fresh faces and a few familiar ones, and the latter, as expected, deliver stellar performances.
One glaring difference between Crime Patrol and Crimes Aaj Kal is the storytelling approach. The stories in Crimes Aaj Kal often feel manipulated and dramatized. It's apparent that this creative choice might be an attempt to avoid potential legal complications. However, it does affect the show's authenticity, leaving some viewers yearning for the unfiltered narratives that Crime Patrol was known for.
Vikrant Massey's anchoring is undoubtedly one of the show's strengths. His ability to engage viewers and provide insightful commentary on the cases adds depth to each episode. Massey's presence as the host is a reassuring connection to the legacy of Crime Patrol.
As the season of Crimes Aaj Kal comes to a close, fans are left with a sense of nostalgia for the days of Crime Patrol's glory. However, there's hope on the horizon, as viewers eagerly anticipate another season. With the right balance of experienced actors and unadulterated storytelling, Crimes Aaj Kal has the potential to reach new heights and carry forward the legacy of its predecessor, keeping viewers hooked to the world of crime television.
Rupaye Dus Karod (1991)
A treat for Rajesh Khanna fans
If you're a die-hard Rajesh Khanna fan, you might consider giving this Rajesh Khanna Film a watch. However, I must warn you that the film falls short of expectations in several aspects. Let's delve into the highlights and low points of the movie.
The initial 30 minutes of the film are packed with four songs. Unfortunately, none of these songs managed to gain popularity or leave a lasting impact. Fans who were hoping for chart-topping melodies may feel disappointed.
The first half of the movie is largely unimpressive and can be considered a waste of time. The story fails to engage the audience, and the pacing feels sluggish. However, things take a turn in the second half when the suspense kicks in. This is where the film starts to redeem itself, offering some much-needed intrigue and excitement.
Deepika Chilakhia, though present in the film, is merely a showpiece with limited screen time. Her character lacks depth and fails to contribute significantly to the overall plot. Similarly, Avinash Wadhwan's role also falls short, as he is given only a few frames to showcase his talent.
The main leads of the film are Chunky Pandey, Amrita Singh, and the legendary Rajesh Khanna. They carry the weight of the narrative on their shoulders and deliver commendable performances. Rajesh Khanna's presence brings a nostalgic charm to the screen, undoubtedly a treat for his ardent fans.
Tragically, during the dubbing process, Om Shivpuri, an esteemed actor, passed away. As a result, his voice had to be replaced by someone else in a few scenes. This alteration may be noticeable to attentive viewers and could affect the overall coherence of the film.
Nazar Khan, known for his appearances in crime-based television series like "Crime Patrol" and "Savdhaan India," has a brief role in the movie. While his appearance adds a touch of familiarity, it's unfortunate that his character isn't more developed or given substantial screen time.
In conclusion, "Rupay Dus Karod, Rajesh Khanna Film" has its share of ups and downs. It caters primarily to Rajesh Khanna enthusiasts who are willing to overlook its flaws. The lackluster first half is compensated by a suspenseful second half, but the limited presence of Deepika Chilakhia and Avinash Wadhwan may leave viewers wanting more. Nonetheless, the film benefits from the performances of Chunky Pandey, Amrita Singh, and the timeless Rajesh Khanna.
Ittefaq (1969)
"The Intriguing Plot Twists of 'Ittefaq': A Cinematic Masterpiece"
"Ittefaq" is a classic Bollywood suspense thriller movie that was released in 1969. The movie was directed by Yash Chopra and produced by his brother B. R. Chopra. It starred Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, and Iftekhar in the lead roles.
The unconventional narrative structure of "Ittefaq" was ahead of its time and had a significant influence on other Bollywood films that followed. The movie's use of flashbacks, non-linear storytelling, and multiple perspectives was a departure from the traditional linear narrative structure that was common in Indian cinema at the time.
"Ittefaq" was a critically acclaimed movie and is considered a classic of its genre. It was particularly noted for its innovative storytelling and unconventional narrative structure, which was ahead of its time. The movie was also remade in 2017 with the same title, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha, and Akshaye Khanna.
Detective Boomrah (2022)
Overacting ki dukaan 😆
It was really nice story I liked all apart from our hero's overacting. Even his companion acted better than him. 2 point cut for overacting ;-)
Concept reminded me Netflix's DARK. Waiting for next stories with better acting. It's budget seems very low but because of a good story they might got it qualified for hotstar.
Don't know why they create 15 mins episodes and why can't create just one episode of 45mins or similar even each episode has recap also! Why?? It is not Doordarshan where next episode will come next week and we won't be able to watch the previous episodes :-D. Web series me recap ka Funda really samajh nahi aata.
Abdullah (1980)
Brilliant message. Hindu son raised by a Muslim father
The movie reminded me the real story of Lucknow 's Aikulal and Akbar. The benchmark story was also featured by crime patrol and savdhaan India.
Aikulal a tea vendor at Lucknow's baradari area who finds a small kid crying alone in the began Hazrat Mahal Park. He brings him to the police station. The Police tries to find out his whereabouts but failed. The kid only can tell his name 'Akbar'.
Later aiku takes the kid with him and raises him throughout his life. Not only this, he does not forcefully changes his religion but helps him getting 'Taaleem' of 'Islam'.
Google "Beyond The Religions: Muslim Child Akbar Raised By A Hindu Tea Vendor Aikulal Sandil" and you will find this real story.
Aranyak (2021)
Brilliant! Aranyak's Nar-tendua is better than Candy's Masaan
Little disappointing ending but brilliant series. Considering the ending, eagerly waiting for a new season, New story.
Ravenna and Parambrata both are equally good.
Candy (2021)
Suspense pe suspense, suspense pe suspense
I was able to guess the culprit here but a twist then another twist... Really mind-blowing.
Durgamati: The Myth (2020)
Bad remake, learn somthing from director Priyadarshan
I was not aware that this movie is a remake of some South Indian movie but after watching it for near 30 mins and observing the dialog delivery and acting I myself started guess is it a South Indian remake!
These guys should learn from Director Priyadarshan who made Bhulbhulaiya, Hungama and Garam Masala in a well manner. There is not a bit touch of South Indian deliveries.
There is no doubt that the South Indian pattern has a quality in their delivery but while making a hindi remake, they should focus on overall quality.
Jamun (2021)
Brilliant Raghuveer Yadav, superb Shweta and Saurabh
I have been a Saurabh Goyal fan since his many geniune acts in crime patrol and I wish him goodluck in the film industry.
One of the best performance by Raghuveer Yadav.
Gandu (2019)
What they wanted to show don't know
Does series completes in just 2 episodes of total near 45mins? What they wants to show I don't know. And too much over acting by the guy played Sheetal.
Chhapaak (2020)
Slow, could have been better
Why they cant use the real names when the whole world knows that it is based on laxmi?
Story is slow. They should have edited it well before release.
Breathe: Into the Shadows (2020)
Abhishek's best...
No i am bot agree that Guru was Abhishek's best, breath is his best with his surprising performance.
I enjoyed each episode of it. Best watch after Sacred Games.
The story was pretty much influenced with Se7en and a scene i noticed copied from Money Heist.
Girlfriend Chor (2020)
Mayur More is a star
Few episodics of Crime patrol
Kota Factory
And now Girlfriend Chor
The Body (2019)
Guessable mystery but Interesting movie
Interesting movie. Songs makes it a little boring bus as Rishi Kapoor's background comes to focus, I understood that there must be something related between the actual story and Rishi Kapoor's story.
Powder (2010)
Incredible series
I don't know how we missed this "series of perfection" from so many years!!
Jalebi (2018)
Amazing movie. Kudos to both Rhea and Varun
Jalebi!! I thought it is a comedy movie but no, it is a Unbelievable love story. And hats off to debutante Varun. A must watch.
