Masters of the Air (2024)
Average at best.
Typical brilliant production values, just a shame no one can really act, and of course not a candle on Band of Brothers.
I mention BOB as that is the greatest war drama ever made, and as this is the same team behind BOB I had high hopes.
Possibly I was hoping for too much, but why not with messers Hanks, Spielberg and Goetzman creating this new show, but alas it's almost WWII by numbers.
It's always difficult to recreate the war on the small screen, that's why BOB is all the more remarkable, this however, can't quite make it.
It's also a shame that while the 100th is based in East Anglia (I happen to live 5 miles away from Thorpe Abbots), nothing was filmed here, quite obviously as the airfield show has hills in the background.
I'm sure when I watch all of it it will be an ok war drama, but don't get too excited.
Greenland (2020)
Dreadful.
Oh what a dreadful copy of films with similar stories.
Terrible writing, typical terrible acting, just dreadful and 45 minutes I'll never get back.
Neil Brand's Sound of TV (2020)
Great documentary
Top block with great interest in music, TV and film
