A very dramatic drama
20 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
First let's just get it out of the way, that Berguzar and Halit are an awesome couple. Their chemistry is palpable. Unfortunately I don't think they were used anywhere near their potential in this series. The story goes from one extreme to the other so quickly and frequently... it gets hard to believe that they will forgive the other for the 1,001th time... but it keeps you watching nonetheless. It is definitely worth a view and it has a happy ending... and you get to see a tiny bit of the magic between those two.

My #1
18 August 2021
I resisted this one for a while... wasn't big into the mustache or the 70's... but I knew the show had good reviews and people loved Feride & Mahir. So I finally gave it a try and 115 episodes later, it has moved into my number one spot and will be one that I rewatch over and over. Everything was top notch... the writing, the cinematography, and the acting. I didn't think I'd fall for this one, but the passionate and intense love story is one you don't always find. If you are hesitant to watch this show for any reason.... don't be. Watch it. You will not be disappointed.

Shows it's age

This one is definitely dated, but still worth watching. Overall it's not the best series but not the worst either. The acting and chemistry of Demir and Asi is what kept me watching until the end. I recommend giving it a view.

meh

I really wanted to love this. I mean seriously, these actors! But... I have tried on two different occasions to watch the series and it just doesn't interest me. I'm almost to the end so I think I will fast forward through a lot, just to have completed the show.

Again, the actors are all amazing... but the story didn't do it for me... but a lot of people love it, so it's definitely worth a watch if you're considering it. The first episode is pretty amazing, but it feels kinda of slow and long the further you get into it.

Could've been a 10

Warning: Spoilers
I mean, you can't go wrong with Kivanc and Tuba, among others in the cast... but it could've been even better. I found it hard to like Suhan for the majority of the episodes. The character went a little too far with the hate... in the hate vs love dilemma. But the ending was good, you don't watch 30 episodes just to see your couple end up dead or apart. Ultimately, I feel it's worth a watch just to see these beautiful actors and actresses and enjoy the typical Turkish melodrama.

So much potential
15 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show didn't get a fair chance. As a Turkish series enthusiast, I know that rarely will shows make it through a season/finale. But this one is definitely one of the good ones that was cut. Within the first 4 episodes there were many good plots going, that I wanted to see resolution for. It's worth watching the four episodes... just know that there's no "end". Good acting, good story... it's just a shame it couldn't have gone longer.

Entertaining Enough

The show kept my interest and I was able to connect with the characters... the biggest distraction for me was Sheridan Smith's haircut and her duck face expression at times... I know, superficial things.... but still were a distraction. Overall though, it was worth a watch.

Hoping for more seasons!
13 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
In all honesty, I wasn't sure when I first started watching the show, if I would stick this one through to the end... but by the end of episode one I was hooked. I like the crime shows/whodunits but my main draw in everything I watch is a romance... This show had the "romance", the characters that you care about, and it keeps you guessing. I'm not one to figure out the killer before it's revealed... sometimes it's blatantly obvious, but in this one, it didn't seem obvious and really I still have lots of questions. I highly recommend the show, and I really, really, really hope that there are more seasons with this cast. Probably would've given it a 10 if there was a conclusion... so I hope in the future I can update my rating.

Great chemistry

Warning: Spoilers
I wish this was longer than an hour. The main couple has fantastic chemistry and I really wanted a happy ending for them... but I knew there wouldn't be, so I was prepared. I will probably watch this again, some great messages in this. Glad I watched it.

Kinda Crazy
5 April 2020
I really enjoyed this series and I wasn't sure that I would. I like that it starts in a place of light and goodness, and as we (and Freud) learn more about the inner workings of the mind, it becomes a little crazy and a lot dark. I know people always have to see how accurate things were - history-wise.... but I'm not that type. I love the extra drama and romance, and I go into it knowing things aren't all true... but it makes me go and find out more about Freud and ultimately learn more than I would have without the series. I thought the actors were all extremely good. I will be watching the second season.... if there is one. 🤞🏼

Even the sexy half naked men can't save this one, sorry. Pretty terrible acting, story and overall production. The guys have some great abs though.

Sigh...
27 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I honestly went into this show assuming I would stop watching and take it off my list within the first couple episodes. But... I did make it all the way through... kind of. I ending up watching the bits with Fabrizio and Andrea and skipped most of the rest. I did actually like these two, I felt like there was chemistry there... but the story was lacking and yeah... the ending.... pretty unfulfilling. If you're a desperate romance watcher, it's worth a view as long as you understand there won't be good closure at the end.

Surprisingly Good
4 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Not surprising, was the quality of acting by the leads. Ibrahim is always good, and this may be my favorite performance of his so far. The surprising part is the ending - as a frequent viewer of Turkish series, I was well prepared for a disappointing ending. But thankfully this movie didn't follow suit and all my tears were justified in the end. I will watch this one again.

Even though this show was cancelled without warning and without conclusion... the story and chemistry between the leads are worth watching. But you will be unfulfilled.

Could've been a 10
31 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This series has a fantastic cast, the chemistry between the leads is palpable and the villain is memorable. This is a fantastic show and I would highly recommend it... if it wasn't for the ending. Luckily I saw spoilers for the ending before I actually got there... but after watching 3/4 of the show, it still left me heartbroken. There's not much I ask for in my shows... but a happy ending is a must. And sadly, this is missing that. It truly would've been a 10 had they just ended up together.

Decent story with good actors... sadly I'm guessing the show was cancelled and thus there really is no ending to any of the storylines. Could've been really good. :(

So glad I read the spoilers
13 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I'm on episode 52 right now, and I have to say I've been pretty entertained. It's not the best show ever but it's decent. But I just googled to see how many episodes are left and I am sooooo glad I did because I saw what happens in the series finale. I can't deal with unhappy endings... I mean seriously, that's why I watch these shows... to get the happy ending! So even though it's been entertaining, I am moving onto the next show... this is one I can't finish.

Worth watching
19 October 2019
Overall this is a good show. It's funny, sometimes cheesy, the main characters have good chemistry and the actors do a great job with the comedy (not as great with the drama). I was unable to like or care about many of the secondary characters... which is ok, just means I have to fast forward through their stuff. Despite some of these negative things, I still recommend watching it and I most definitely will continue to watch clips on YouTube.

Not for the faint of heart
7 October 2019
Hayat Sarkisi will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you swoon over the amazing romance, it will confuse you, it will make you love & hate the characters, it will make you question things, it will wound you and it will heal you. This was a journey I did not expect. Each character became real... and like real life, there is the good, the bad and the ugly. I highly recommend experiencing the lives of the Cevher family.

Romance Junkie
20 May 2018
If you like romance movies (or romance novels)... you should watch. If you want something with a little more substance... probably should pass. It's a perfect happy ending romance. Good movie with pretty good acting. I just wish the chick wasn't so terribly skinny....

Why didn't I know about this show?
16 May 2018
I was cruising Hulu trying to find something to watch and gave Good Behavior a try, knowing absolutely nothing about it. One episode is all it took. I went and purchased seasons 1 & 2 after watching just one episode. The show is brilliant, the actors are phenomenal and the music... is now on my Spotify playlist.

It is REALLY that bad
24 January 2018
The script, acting and well, just everything is so unbelievable... and I'm someone that can suspend reality for a good romance.... but man, this is just terrible. Don't waste your time. I recommend searching for Our Girl - a fantastic BBC show that they have withheld from us here in the US, but thankfully some kind peopleput it online. It's worth the time searching for it. Skip Valor, and find Our Girl... you won't regret it.
