Chambers (2019)
Well...
It's not a bad story. It has suspense and it keeps you wondering what will happen next. It has the usual mix of rich family with lots of secrets and problems and then there is the poor family who refuses to take hand-outs. All of this has been done before and it works in this series. But.....
The reason for my four rating is the lead actress. I have absolutely no sympathy for her and therefore I really don't care much what happens to her. She makes everything all about her and even accusing her uncle for her mother's death when that same uncle is the one that practically raised her. Talk about being selfish. The uncle loves her so much and is willing to do everything to keep her healthy and get her expensive pills, even borrow money from a loan shark to getting a car stolen.
I can go on and on about how much this role the actress plays annoys me but I will leave it there. And this is why I give this a four.
Between (2015)
Uh?
Few things (I'm at the 4th episode of season 1)
1. Gord is not under 21.
2. No one cares about food. For example they don't raid the stores or stuff.
3. No electricity but phones keep working.
4. There's no order. Not like the society that netflix had. I'd imagine if something like this happen everone will get together to help out.
5. The government doesn't send food? Don't they care?
6. The brainy one is a terrible actor. Like when the store was burning het said "look the store is on fire" the same way as a person talking about homework.
7. The pregnant one is just a plain, rude person. She leaves her baby with her sister, who by the way looks after a lot of other children who pees on books no doubt, who does that?
8. Nobody is under 21 for that matter. They don't even try to make it believable.
9. A little girl kills a tiger.
10. I don't know, this is just not a good show.
Colony (2016)
Oh the thorn in my side
Yes, Lori Grimes is back and just the same deceitful 'dutiful' wife thinking how everything that she is doing is for the right of all mankind but just actually screwing things up in the proses.
I really love this series and yes I know I'm very late but I couldn't give this a ten because of Sarah Wayne Callies. I just don't like her. I know it's not her fault but gosh how I hate the characters she play.
Welcome Home (2018)
.
It was horrible. The female actress moans like it's a dirty movie. I love Aaron Paul and I felt sorry and embarrassed for him.
And with no trouble at all she sticks a knife in the man's back like slicing a ham.
Just plain bad.
Itsy Bitsy (2019)
I have questions
1. Where's the father?
2. Why is he not looking after the children as it seems that the mother is incapable of doing so?
3. Why does the mother eat her drug pills like candy and just not swallow them?
4. Why does a 10 year old (I'm assuming that's his age) have to look after his younger sibling?
5. Why do the children not have adult supervision?
6. Why don't the children go to school?
7. How can that big a&& spider move around so quickly and nobody notices it?
8. Why is all the responsibility of all chores including taking care of his sister fall on the young boy?
9. Why don't they ever eat?
10. Why did the police lady not taken the children away from that awful pathetic mother?
Ok some of these questions are silly but still. This movie kinda sucked. The intro was kinda ok that's why I gave the movie a three.
Northern Rescue (2019)
Its Bad bad
Don't know where to start. It's a very unforgettable story. But the few things I want to point out is:
1. The dad is an a$$ the most of the time. Especially the people he work with.
2. If they want me to believe that the two older siblings are still school age then my whole life is a lie.
3. The acting is as wooden as my bed frame. No one even tries to do any real acting. I'm not expecting oscar worthy performances but dear me I don't know where they got these people.
4. The whole story has been done a million times in the past there is nothing original about it.
5. So the oldest girl's friend get her in trouble by stealing stuff and putting it in HER bag and they end up being caught by the police but lo and behold the next day their just best friends again. No "im so sorry" or anything.
6. The youngest girl can build robots.
I'm at episode 6 at the moment and the only reason I will continue watching is because I have this thing of not stopping something I started.
The aunt is the only one that's kind of ok and the penguin is cute.
Somewhere Between (2017)
Oh dear...
I have never written a review before but I felt compelled, yes COMPELLED, to write my thoughts down. Just right of the bat the husband looks guilty as hell. Now I haven't finished watching this but they just make it to obvious.
Secondly that daughter is as annoying as hell and if I spoke to my mom te way she did I would get an big whooping despite her age.
And then there is Paula Patton. Goodness how does she land roles. She tries so hard it is cringe worthy.
The only redeeming quality about this hot mess is the ex-policeman who try to throw in a few jokes but that also falls flat.
And the killer, jumps around like Spiderman out running everyone. Wound and all.
And then, the music is so confusing I don't even know to describe it....
The only reason I continue watching this is because for some reason my mom likes it.
