Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957)
Historically inaccurate but a good western.

Although this was extremely inaccurate historically, it was, nonetheless, a good western. At the time of the OK Corral gunfight, Doc Holliday was 30 years old. Therefore, Kirk Douglas was too old for the part. Wyatt Earp was not the oldest Earp brother. He was the middle brother. James was the oldest, then Virgil, then Wyatt, Morgan and finally, Warren. There were several Earp sisters in between the brothers and there was an older half-brother. All 5 of the Earp brothers were in Tombstone at the time of the gunfight. As usual, Burt Lancaster turned in a great performance without hamming it up. His background in the circus made him so agile and graceful, it was always a pleasure to watch him move.
