Fincher... Fassbender... and Swinton... with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross producing the score / soundtrack... Honestly it couldn't possibly get any better! Michael Fassbender is truly amazing, the way he (psychologically) plays this assassin role... And in the beginning of the film - the way he moves with his rifle... It's as though he's "at one" with the scope... I've never seen anything like it! But of course it's phenomenal - it's in a David Fincher film. Ever since Fincher burst onto the scene back in 1995 with his film Se7en, he's had a darker, almost "insider" take on killings that no one else in Hollywood had...

Painful dialogue...

The dialogue in this film is so rigid and robotic it is absolutely PAINFUL. I love Jamie Dornan and I have always enjoyed Gal Gadot in her projects, but I seriously had an incredibly difficult time getting into this film, getting past the first third of it, and that all came down to the (serious lack of) flow to the dialogue. I'm not sure if this is an example of the studio incorporating AI into their film -- if it is, WOW is the film industry in huge trouble. Regardless, I am stunned that editors, directors, studio executives and network executives all reviewed this film and agreed that it was it was ready to debut.

The script must have had too many pauses and/or holes in it because these world class actors spent more time standing around not doing or saying anything in this film than I've seen in some time... Being a huge fan of Downton, it just made me sad & was disappointing to see - another case of 'Going One Step too Far' I'm afraid...

"Plus One" is a relatable RomCom with a very up-to-date narrative for everyone in the dating scene... and of course the ever funny as all hell Maya Erskine absolutely steals the show - I was bawling, she had me laughing so hard!! She and Jack Quaid plaid well off one another... and this film really solidified Jack's acting ability for me... Brilliant and incredibly fun film!

Aidy, Lolly, Luka, Ian and the whole Shrill gang came back better than ever in season two... and it's a rare, magical thing when that happens! So keep this beautiful magical little nugget of a series coming Hulu!! (And I wouldn't be mad if you increased the episode count yet again for S3 - these super sweet and fun eps are so damn short at under 30 min each for Pete's sake!) LOVE this refreshing show! Talk about a show for real women of today...

To say that I am a huge TV/film gal is saying it mildly... however, it's a rarity that a project comes along out of the SciFi realm that is "special" enough to grab ahold of me... So just the mere fact that I'm now really into The Expanse (wrapping S1 & diving into S2) is saying A LOT because I honestly cannot remember the last SciFi series that I not only binged but gorged!! Lol! Big thanks to Prime for saving this gem... the reality of the production, the effects, the way they incorporate social issues and into the show... there seems to be just enough of reality wrapped up in the fantasy that makes it perfection for this entertainment lover...

This series is amazing... what it does for inclusion is so phenomenal... and to get even better in the second season - how often does that happen?! What an absolute gem of a show... Well done STARZ - please keep this one coming (S3)!
