Great document, good movie!
26 December 2013
Great document that shows the lost scenery's of Madrid. Good soundtrack good movie, very entertaining - dark and colorful, very stylish!

Social drama with an edge, action packed all the way!

Gato (the cat) is a free spirited delinquent who plays with life and death to make a living in-between his loved ones, his sexual affairs and the local gangsters.

Crime exploitation fans will enjoy this movie. Realistic dramatic and fun!

They don't make them like this any more, and it's a shame.

El pico (1983)
Dark tale of drugs in Spain. Realistically shocking. Based on a true story.
5 June 2007
This is one of the most realistic and shocking movies about drugs ever made, and one of the best I have ever seen. Set in Bilbao Spain in the early 80's we meet two teenagers Paco and Urko who deal drugs for living and hag out with Betty a foreign prostitute whom together they share sex and drugs mainly Heroin, Paco also hags out with a Homosexual local artist in secret. Well, the problem begins when Paco and Urko become addicted to Heroin, and not only that, Paco is the son of a sergeant of the Guardia Civil and Urko's dad is a leader of an important political party.

The film's atmosphere is cold and dark, the scenes of drug use sex and nudity are quit explicit, the acting and direction are good, probably one of Eloy De La Iglesias's best work.

Like Chrisnine F. it's based on a true story, the sequel is also not to be missed (EL PICO 2)

Dead Punkz (1999)
Juvenile delinquency, cheesy but not bad.
5 January 2007
This film came out in the early 90's as the sequel to 1983'S Bad Boys, titled Bad Boys 2 , but was then re-released in 2000 as Dead Punkz. In this one there is no Mike Obrian or Paco, the characters are different but it's based on the same subject, Americas juvenile Delinquents. The story is good and quite entertaining from start to finish although it's a bit cheesy at some points, and also it's not as good or as powerful as the original Bad Boys.

The story iv oles around a teen street punk known as Samson who ends up in a juvenile prison where he meets and teams up with other juvenile delinquents. They manage to escape and together they start a life of crime. Samson then falls in love with a prostitute, and together they try to change, but it's not easy.

Like I've already said, cheesy but good.

Complete Social Drama, Good Realistic Action, Very Entertaining From Start To Finish.
17 January 2006
What can I say, my kind of movie, good research, good sound-track good acting, good almost everything. Even though it has some beautiful scenes, sometimes it looks like a T.V movie, but only sometimes, apart from that in my opinion the movie is great. It can be compared to other great classics based on the Spanish juvenile delinquency of the 70's like 'Perros Callejeros', 'Navajeros', or 'Deprisa,Deprisa'.

It shows a quite good realistic look on how the juvenile crime was in Madrid back in the late 70's, the struggle of a young boy and his family, together with some good action scenes and good music.

9/10 "I don't have any accidents when I'm driving, all the bad things happens to me when I'm stop'ed"

A Quite Entertaining Blaxploitaion Movie, Not The Best But Still Good.
24 April 2005
This Blaxploitation film may not be considered as one of the best, but it's still a good one and very entertaining. The action and fight scenes are good in a realistic way, the acting is not bad, and the story is easy to follow.

Good action, excitement, nudity, a funky soundtrack and cool dialogs,

the fans of Blaxploitation will enjoy it.

Fred Williamson does a fine job,

he's one bad dude.

Its Hammer time.

Rapist's At Dawn. A Scary Street-Crime Film.
25 March 2005
This film shows A brutal reality in A quite scary way.

A gang of marginalized teens from Barcelona (spain)commit crimes in order to survive, but what they really enjoy is raping females of all ages. The film is quite a shocker and was band on it's time, today it's still hard to find. The sound track is quite good and helps the film to be even scarier.

Although it's an old school, this film can be used as a great political statement.

Teen Violence, drugs, sex, rape and murder.

A beautiful soundtrack for a good realistic movie.
19 December 2004
A good look at the delinquency in Spain of the 80's, good photography, great soundtrack.

Pablo, Angela, El Meca and Sebas, four marginalized teenagers from Madrid are forced to live a life of crime in order to survive and escape the poverty they live in. The movie is quite entertaining, the crime scenes are very realistic, the soundtrack fits just perfect and the message is clear and powerful.

Crime is created by poverty and poverty is created by luxury, something we are all responsible of.

A great political statement, then and now.

Navajeros (1980)
A Very Entertaining film, based on Juvenile Delinquency.
10 October 2004
The Quinqui genre in Spain is similar to the Blaxplotaition films from the 70's in America. 'Navajeros' is one of the best Quinqui movies together with 'Perros Callejeros'. The fans of Blaxplotaition will like this film and others from this genre that no longer lives.

Meet 'El Jaro' one of Madrid's most famous juvenile delinquents. Alone in the streets ever since he was 10 years old, he teams up with other kids his age and together they raise hell. They steal cars, commit armed robberies and confront the local drug-dealers.

A very entertaining film packed with spectacular realistic action, sex, drugs and a smashing sound-track.

Juvenile Delinquency is a serious game.Witness the horrors of street reality
11 April 2004
This film contains a very serious matter, and it`s shown with 100% realism. It`s probably the best street-crime film ever made.

From the poorest and lowest suburbs in Spain, comes El Torete and his juvenile gang of modern out laws.Searching for a better life and fighting for there liberty the best way they can, they will stop at nothing to escape the horrors of reality, most of us forget it exists.Car thefts, bag snatches, armed robberies, breaking's, and spectacular car chases by the police are seen in this powerful and shocking film.

See how true crime is created by poverty and misery, something we are all guilty of.
