An error has ocurred. Please try againIt is VERY hard to land in the Top 100. You have to REALLY impress me to make it this far!
Top Three are fairly well-defined (though Vertigo may jump at times), 4-10 are somewhat arbitrary but still Top 10, and the rest are almost completely arbitrary.
NOTE: I have not seen THAT many bad movies, I only seek out good ones. This is not a list of the worst movies ever, nor is it even a list of what I think the worst movies are. This is just a list of movies that I have seen that I personally dislike.

Sonic Highways (2014)
Americana: The Show
This program is a showcase of more than just American music. This entire miniseries is a celebration of American culture and very distinct style to their music. The album itself isn't half bad either, with every song fitting the city well. Dave explores all the outlets to show the evolution and unity of out singular culture, giving us a loving tribute from a man in the business. The series has a little something for everyone, with every style represented in every city. The editing is beautiful, the cities are chosen well (though I personally would have included Atlanta, Detroit, and maybe San Francisco as well), and the songs are great. It's just a brilliant salute to our nation all around.
Snowpiercer (2013)
Really Good
I heard so much hype going into this. I expected it to bomb horribly. This year, there are a few duds as usual, but most movies struck me as just okay. There was only one film I REALLY liked. (It was The LEGO Movie, oddly enough).
But this may just be one of the most captivating and visually interesting experiences of this year. Dystopia has been beaten into the ground as of late, but Snowpiercer combines dystopian fiction with a scarily likely premise and stunning cinematography. This has probably one of the best action sequences in recent memory.
It's Eastern film-making and art style combined with Western ideologies and formulas in away where neither are recognizable. If you're tired of hearing how great this movie is, try seeing it for yourself. You may not like it, but it is a unique experience and one of the most inventive and visually impressive films of this year.
Gekijôban Pokketo Monsutâ Besuto Wisshu: Bikutini to shiroki eiyû Reshiramu (2011)
For Whatever Reason, this One seems more Logical
This movie is...okay. I'd probably consider it one of the better Pokemon movies. But for whatever reason, I found it easier to buy that Reshiram would be the ally dragon than Zekrom. Perhaps it was because I watched the show and saw Zekrom was the first legendary and he acted antagonistic at first. Whatever.
I did see both cuts side by side, and aside from a few recolors and some lines here and there, they are almost identical. White is slightly longer, though. I guess if you want the almost full story, watch White, but if you want the biggest plot hole erased, go with Black (this one).
6/10. Decent story, but one change saves it.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
The Best Film of 2013
How did this get shut out at the Oscars? No film got me talking, made me think more, or left me feeling more satisfied this year than "Catching Fire". And this is coming from someone who HATED the book.
This film may also be the most relevant to the time. It is a blatant satire of celebrity culture. Our decadent society is always one step away from the Hunger Games. The culture is decadent and violent, but this is the harsh reality of our world. It hurts, but it's so true. The movie also looks GORGEOUS! At least nominations for Makeup, Visual Effects, and Costumes, please.
Is it better than the original? Certainly so. And the first one was great as well. This should have gotten more awards buzz.
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
The Ultimate in WTF
I have no idea what to say about this film. Is it good? Maybe. Is it bad? It shows shades but it is not terrible. I have never seen such a film which gets so much right yet at the same time so very much wrong.
It is well shot, acted, directed, and as for writing says what it wants to say very well. However, it is a major downer, cannot seem to hold interest, and the message is a bit heavy-fisted throughout. I feel the suffering, but much of it seems overblown.
I would not recommend this to anyone, but still feel it to be a technical marvel. I guess if you're really curious you could see it, but it is too disturbing for most and will not resonate strongly due to the way the message is portrayed.
The five stars you see in the review are just for convenience so I know I've seen it. My actual rating is *null*/5 because no star rating would do my opinion of the film justice.
Iron Man Three (2013)
An All-too Familiar but Still Enjoyable Experience
This is better than the second one. It is not as good as the first one. I think everyone has said that, but I still like this movie quite a bit.
There is a philosophical side to this movie. Iron Man has gone down to Earth, experiencing symptoms similar to PTSD, and is suddenly thrust into his job again by forces beyond his control.
There is a twist involving the true villain, and this actually works in the film's favor. The villain is usually who we least expect. Tony is crushed spiritually by his burdens, and this villain is smart enough to exploit that. I thought this writing was very clever.
It is a Tony Stark movie, and that's perfectly fine. Marvel knows what makes their movies work and uses that to their advantage.
Dejimon adobenchâ: Bokura no wô gêmu! (2000)
One of the better Digimon Movies
This is the best of the three movies that made up the American Dub. I haven't seen all the Digimon movies as of this writing, but this is currently second to X-Evolution.
This is an action movie, comparable to WarGames. There is a genuinely creepy villain and the setup seems illogical, but still makes sense in this setting. Everyone is in character, and both versions have great, albeit very different, soundtracks.
I had seen some of the show going into this, but this movie made me love the show even more. What happened in the other two segments...don't even remember. But this one ruled
The dub is not bad, but some things were cut out. I say, stick to the sub if you can. If you're watching the American movie...skip all the rest and just watch this.
