Oegye+in 2bu (2024)
Better than first one
I found the 1st one being generic and a bit boring, but I watched this sequel anyway.
To my surprise, it is way better than the 1st one. Everything works just fine for me and the way they manage to connect all the characters and stories together in the finale is pretty impressive.
U will need to watch the 1st one, in order to fully enjoy this 2nd latest sequel. Ignore about the bad gossip of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So Hee, bcos i don wanna it to spoil my movie experience.
Overall, it has average or above average quality, definitely not a bad production or B movie. Still holding the good reputation of korean film industry.
Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Not nostalgic enough without good soundtrack, but still Watchable
Don't care what the critics said, the film is fine, with the cast from original JP, wat else can u demand more?
The franchise is too expensive to end, there will be more in future, and tat time I will bring my kids to watch, to continue the legacy.
The sad thing about this film is the soundtrack "Welcome to Jurassic World" doesn't played much in this finale, it is a very powerful, touching and touching music.
Hercules (2014)
"In order to be a hero, you must first believe you are a hero."
《Hercules》Rating: 6 per 10 "In order to be a hero, you must first believe you are a hero." -Muscular Dwayne Johnson is Hercules.
Which kind of characters haven't portrayed by the charming Dwayne Johnson. He used to be a tooth fairy, a good cop, and even a stern football coach.
I walked into cinema with a thought this would be a fantasy-adventure film with a demigod fighting all sorts of evil monsters. It turns out to be a comedy-action flick. Nonetheless, it is still okay for me.
Surprisingly, there are no gods, evils or humans with magic in this film. What we have are spears, arrows, swords and roars. The movie doesn't turn into what we see in 《Clash of The Titans》and 《300》.
There are only humans, just normal humans. Perhaps the names of Greek gods and monsters are just metaphors. Cerberus symbolises Hercules's own inner demon from his past and centaurs are not any creatures but true horsemen who are loyal to their land.
And Hercules is a symbol of strength, brave and warriorship.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)
Love the chimps, Treasure the peace :)
《Dawn of The Planet of the Apes》 Rating: 7 per 10. Love the chimps, Treasure the peace :)
One of the beauty of the film is there's no real or truly bad antagonist. Even for the bad ape, Koba is not bad. He is just an unfortunate primate who went through hell in the drug laboratory.
My friend once told me humans are the top predator in the eco food web. Nothing is above humans on Earth. That's why once in a while we will be struck by pandemic. Supposedly to control the population of humans. That's how the law of nature works.
In fact, all the living creatures are the holders of DNA. As life evolves, biodiversity is formed, creating humans and other living creatures. Conflicts will arise as we compete for the same resources, not to mention when the war is between two highly intelligent species. This is what the film about, conflicts and the right to survive.
This reboot/prequel is the latest entry in the planet of apes franchise. Still remember my first experience with the franchise started in 2001 when Mark Wahlberg takes the lead in 《Planet of Apes》. It's the film which opens my mind, taking me into the universe of science fiction. Its ending is astonishing in my childhood and is still vivid in mind.
Now, 2014 continues the legacy of this franchise with DOTPOA. The movie is sentimental in its own way. There are tears, there are deep emotional feeling between humans and apes, and there are angry apes with spears too ^^
One of the beauty of the film is there's no real or truly bad antagonist. Even the bad ape, Koba is not bad. He is just an unfortunate primate who went through hell in the drug laboratory. What he learned from human is only hatred. Both the species are just struggling for their lives, their rights to survive.
No matter Caeser, the leader of apes or Malcolm, humans leader played by Jason Clarke aka discount version of Mark Ruffalo. To be fair, though, both leaders are always trying to find a peaceful way to coexist. Just the hatred and jealousy destroy the peace.
"I always thought apes are better than humans. Humans kill each other, devour among themselves, apes do not. But now. .. now I realise, we are just the same." -Caeser with a heartbroken tone.

Deliver Us from Evil (2014)
Ghost delivery service from Iraq
"Deliver Us From Evil" Rating: 6.5 per 10
Last summer, we have "The Conjuring" by Malaysia-born director James Wan which is freaking frightening and remains a truly Hollywood modern horror masterpiece. This year, the summer scary ride continued with "Deliver Us From Evil" :) Since when we have ghost delivery service after Macdonald and KFC? Haha, glad that the film's title is not "Deliver Us To Evil".
Overall, Deliver is an average or slightly decent horror films. You want to be scared, yes, there are lots of jump scares that will satisfy your thirst. Nonetheless, there's not much special about this flick. It is lack of creativity and fresh ideas with the scary scenes are common and expected.
The director previous work, "Sinister" is smart. The boy in the box scene is originative and famous (later used again in "The Scary Movie 5"). Not to mention about the clap-and- seek scene in "The Conjuring", beyond terrified.
One of the pleasing part is this movie wants us to know there are two types of evils in the world. One is the demons within ourselves, and the other is the primary one, the spirit. The movie focus on both evils. We witness how hard the protagonist, officer Ralph Sarchie struggles with his own evil and the haunting events that lead him to embrace for God's forgiveness.
After all, we humans aren't saints. We make mistakes, sometimes we do bad things. We can't escape from the past. No matter what we did, the sins we made and hid in the past will resurface someday. But you, can choose between facing it honestly ,bravely or hiding it till it becomes our own demons, waiting to resurface one day.
"When the lights fade out, All the sinners crawl, Don't get too close, It's dark inside, It's where my demons hide" -Demons Imagine Dragons
