Overrated and overdone
15 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It relies too much on overdone superhero narratives:
  • The brooding, Batman-like superhero lead
  • The over-zealous shoot first, ask questions later political leader
  • The Gotham style dark world that only the superheroes could save for who knows what reason
  • The cheesy cartoonish graphics
  • Cartoonish superheroes, supervillains and overall bad guys
  • The death of the over-zealous god-tier superheroes
  • The hero turned villain
  • The black market super-drug
  • The over-sexy superwoman character
  • The wayward 2nd tier superheroes
  • The conspiracy theories of corruption, murder and the like within their own ranks

And much more: This might as well have been a Batman movie or a Robocop movie!

Freejack ripoff
2 July 2022
They stole the idea for this movie from the early 1990s movie Freejack!

Why not watch that movie instead of this unofficial remake? At least the original had Emilio Estevez and Mick Jagger in it!

Feminist Vampire Twilight
30 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not so nice tomboy thief meets nice cop, later gets turned into a vampire w/ a makeover by a gang of female vampires and get into a doomed relationship with nice guy cop. What else is there to this movie?

Oh, apparently the female vampires went to war with all the male vampires for some unknown reason and killed off all the male vampires and now there is some rule that they can't fall in love with guys and turn them because apparently guys are too fragile and are all bad people.

The Northman (2022)

Not an Erik Northman origin story but similar
13 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The only difference between this and the True Blood character is that both of the characters are portrayed as Vikings, that a Viking must avenge the death of his family (in this, only his father gets murdered) and that the adult version of the main character is a played by the same actor.

Likes: The plot and storyline.

Spoiler Alert: - - - - - - - - Dislikes: The fact that he abandons his family (his wife and kids) to fight to the death (his father's murderer) inside an active volcano, knowing that he'll most likely die, thereby never returning to his family to see his children grow up.

That was overkill for me and completely unnecessary.

Why was it cancelled?
30 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I would've given it a 10 instead of 9/10 but they didn't finish up Gerbert's storyline, even after all the revelations about him in season 3.

I was hoping for a big event like him getting punished for the murders he committed against the witches and against Phillipe, and how he used other vampires to push Blood Rage to advance his agenda but his punishment never happened even though Diana said "Justice is coming for you!". Yet, nothing happened to him, not even him getting kicked out of the political group known as "The Congregation".

Ingrid is so dumb!
15 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
S P O I L E R S

How come nobody on the show is able to realize that Ingrid doesn't actually go kill herself to be with Nathan and is just playing VR the whole time deceiving everyone?

Wouldn't everybody be talking about it and it be all over the news if that actually happened?

Yet, the people at Lakeview only seem to believe she is dead because she says she is. Wouldn't there be evidence of that if it were true?

Didn't like the ending.
14 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I felt like it was cut short. Did the show get cancelled before the end of the season?

Why aren't there any other episodes after this last episode? It ended without us finding out what happened to Nathan and everyone else in the show.

Spoiler: Also, why didn't Nora inform her employer and co-workers that Nathan was going to download so that they wouldn't wonder what happened to him?

Did Nathan end up dying or did he end up getting put back into upload?

Okay movie but one problem with it.....
9 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Whoever made this movie should've done their research on Geographic Locations!

The movie is based in a place called "Crispus Falls, Oregon" but Crispus Falls is ACTUALLY in the state of Washington!

How could they have missed that big of a detail????

You're forgetting one thing.....
31 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
If Barry fixed the timeline and got rid of Thawne's anomalies, why wouldn't that have erased Thawne from the timeline immediately and Barry's past reset from when Thawne killed his mom since Thawne created a time paradox?

It would have been like Flashpoint except it would have been organic and not created by Barry Allen changing time. Wasn't Thawne going back in the past and killing Barry's mom also one of the time anomalies he created? Why wouldn't that event also be erased from the timeline? Why did it only effect Barry's recent part and not his past childhood too?

Ryan Choi

How about bringing Ryan Choi back and making him the successor to The Atom?

He could be a season regular and replace Ray, who was the OG Atom of The Legends.

Zari ruined it.
18 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
By Zari choosing not to become temporarily immortal at the end of the episode, she just ended up slowing everyone down. They could've used their god powers to get there faster but Zari got in the way by being there with them. She should've just stayed in the house because she is completely useless to them without temporary god powers. Why didn't they just kill her off in a previous episode instead of keeping her there as an annoying, useless waste of space. Why couldn't she just accept that her brother wasn't meant to be alive and just let it go?

Good idea, bad execution......
26 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Why didn't they just work to figure out how to repair the broken Speed Force instead of working to create a new one? They clearly know the dangers of creating an artificial Speed Force substitute so why take the risk of trying to create one?

What about Iris? What about Sue Dearborn?
26 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Iris: How could Barry not know that something was wrong with Iris right away? Her personality changes instantly after coming back and that doesn't raise any red flags for him? Suddenly she becomes arrogant, reckless, even mean to Barry and he never tries to find out what happened to her? Obviously she is a different person and something was wrong with her. How come it took him so long to figure it out?

SPOILER ALERT: Sue Dearborn: I read somewhere that Sue Dearborn would become Ralph Digby's future Love Interest/Future Wife. Will this happen in season 7 or 8? Sadly, it appears that Ralph likely won't have anymore appearances on the show as the actor who played him was fired for posting "offensive tweets". Will the Ralph/Sue story continue without Ralph being onscreen? Will Ralph be in season 7 of the show?

The Flash: Legacy (2019)
Season 5, Episode 22
10/10
Season 5: My favorite season of the show!
26 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I have 2 things I want to address about this episode.

#1 - The Nora West-Allen Chronicles: I don't know about anyone else but I happen to like the character of adult Nora West-Allen. Yeah, she is quite annoying and impulsive at times but she acts a lot like her father. They have very similar back stories, are rash, impulsive, sensitive and willing to do anything to get whatever they want, no matter what. I don't think I've seen anything else that the actress who portrayed her (Jessica Parker Kennedy) has been in but I've enjoyed her performance as this character. I hope that the writers will bring her character back to this show sometime and somehow for more episodes so that we have more chances to see her as Nora West-Allen!

An idea could be that somebody manages to bring her back into the currently timeline but her reality is written over by the current timeline. In her new reality it could be that Cicada (and there was never a Cicada 2.0) was defeated by somebody else without her involvement and she's lived with her dad being in her life the entire time of her existence but she may or may not know that her dad is The Flash, maybe as a result of the alternate reality (current Earth-1 post Crisis reality) created by Crisis events. As it was noted that Crisis rewrote reality - No alternative worlds, things and places are in different locations than they were before the current universal reality existed, etc.....who really knows all the effects of the current timeline being rewritten by Crisis?

#2 - Thawne vs Nora or Thawne vs The Flash? Is Thawne 100% evil and only thinking of himself or did he really do all of this to help save Nora/Barry? 1) He helped Nora even though he knew that it could change her and get her erased from reality. If he knew the danger it could cause to her, why did he put her at risk by helping her? 2) Did he do it to punish Barry one last time before his death or did he just not care enough to stop Nora? How did he know about Cicada's dagger and that it could be used to help him escape from his upcoming execution?

Freddy's version of Tales From The Crypt
17 November 2018
This show seems to a be less scary and less funny version of Tales From The Crypt, except The Cryptkeeper is replaced with the less witty Freddy character.

How did this show last two seasons? Other than Freddy being the star or host of the show, it is completely unoriginal in the way it is done. It gets boring.

Why didn't they stop after making the second movie?
9 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Crappy movie.

Why did they wait until DH3 to come up with this story? It seems like they were trying too hard to come up with material. The way the movie was put together doesn't make any sense. Why go through all that trouble just to get to John McClane?

This movie sucks and doesn't make any sense! I give it a 3/10 because at least they tried to come up with something interesting but failed because the movie doesn't seem put together very well. I like DH2 better. This one didn't follow the same path as the last 2 Die Hard Movies. It lost me with all the boring wild goose chases. It just didn't have the same level of action and entertainment level as the last 2 Die Hard Movies. It felt like they lazily put Samuel L. Jackson in there for comic relief or to serve some kind of strange political agenda. His being in the movie didn't really make any sense or serve any purpose for the movie.

The Magicians (2015–2020)
8/10
Great show but has one fault.
21 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I hate how after every major event that effects the world of the disfunctional heroes of the show, the powers that be at Berkbills reset the lives of the "20 something aged" main characters, forcing them to live in this fantasy world on earth making them think the pretend earth lives they are living are their real lives then for some reason that have to find each other again, having to remember and relearn everything they had to do but then no matter what they do, always ending up making the same mistakes in different ways because somebody always lets their emotions get the best of them instead of listening to the warnings or thinking they know how to do things better than everyone else. (For example, destroying a god, misusing their powers for evil or selfish gain, trying to kill a creature that can't be destroyed, using "magic" they don't correctly understand, etc.....)

Of course there are great things about the show; the character development, seeing all the challenges and obstacles each character has to go through, the ways they grow and learn, then the sudden events that seem to happen out of nowhere to keep the show fun and interesting.

What a bunch of white trash degenerates!
17 October 2018
I used to think Al Buddy was funny, until I grew up and realized what a foolish, selfish moron he is. If this were a real family, as opposed to disfunctional for the sake of comic relief, Al Bundy would be on his 2nd, 3rd or 4th divorce and his under-educated, "under-parented" children would be taken by CPS and put into an orphanage or foster care because of child abuse due to neglect and emotional abuse.

Unoriginal Concept. Remember "Shocker" from 1989?
7 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This is the exact same concept as "Shocker" (1989). Psycho serial killer gets the death penalty and makes a deal with the Devil is to come back. He comes back by possessing the bodies of his future victims and taking their life force so you never know who the killer really is. Quite a predictable movie.

The B movie of all B Movies.
21 September 2018
This is the 1st of the Ernest Movie Series even though Ernest himself only has about a minute or 2 of screen time. I can't believe this movie was the prequel to the Ernest Movie Series since he was only shown for about a minute throughout the whole movie. Maybe they decided Ernest was the only interesting thing to come out of this trashy B Movie.
