Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare (2018)
Zakir Khan-Better Comedian than an Actor
I love Zakir Khan.He is one of my favourite comedians.
I loved his "Haq se Single" on Amazon Prime but this Web Series not so much.
He is a good comedian but acting is not his cup of tea.The story is OK.
Anwar and Kranti are good and Leading Lady Venus Singh is cute.
Watch the series for the honest efforts of Mr. Zakir Khan.
Judwaa 2 (2017)
Watch the Original
Even by David Dhawan standards this is a bad film. According to me one should remake a film only if one can improve it or add something good otherwise they should be left as it is. The original Judwaa which is in itself an average film has now been further downgraded to Judwaa 2. No logic,No story, only scenes put together. Everything is lacking in this film.
Even if you watch all the movies in a year skip this one. Watch Original Judwaa instead.
Two stars only for Jacqueline and Tapsee.
Roy (2015)
Trailer is much much better
For those people like me who thought of this as a mystery thriller i would like to state that it is a romantic drama.
The trailer of the movie is way much better than the movie. The movie is boring, fifteen minutes of film you get the sense that there is nothing.
The starting credits state-Ranbir Kapoor in dynamic role, the movie would end and still you wouldn't find what that dynamic role was. Potential of the actors were wasted, though Jacqluine looked beautiful.
Bad cinematography and good photography mix together and bring out blues in the exotic locales the film has been shot. The songs are good.
Conclusion:"Roy" is for those people, who have nothing to do to kill time. Watch it, and it also acts as a cure for insomnia.
Krrish 3 (2013)
Amazing Special Effects for a Bollywood Movie...!!!
The vfx and special effects are one the Plus Points for the film.
Quite an ambitious project and clearly they tried to put in everything in such a small budget. Appreciated !
The songs are not gud but tolerable in the flow of the movie. The story is some what predictable.
The characters mainly the bad guys are inspired from the X-men.
I was skeptical before watching this movie because after watching so many near-to-perfect Hollywood superhero movies I wasn't sure if I would like this one. But I must say it didn't disappoint.
All in all a good movie, not worth missing. If u keep your expectations a little low you'll love the movie.
Final Words Rakesh Roshan is an expert director, no second thoughts about that but there are certain elements in the movie which he could have done without for better. Certain duologue's are over the top and cheesy, music is uninspiring, screenplay is weak and unimaginative. It resembles to a lot of Hollywood franchises which makes it hackneyed and makes us less proud of the finished product. The movie is not a great cinematic experience but isn't boring and crappy also. Good Acting (Vivek, Hrithik,Kangna) ,great VFX and an almost good story makes the ride enjoyable but bumpy due to certain roadblocks and speed breakers. If we compare it with the other superhero movies that Bollywood has churned out, Krrish 3 will top the list in terms of quality, acting and direction.
The Hangover Part III (2013)
Hangover with no comedy hung over...!!!
This part of the Hangover let down the series. This part shouldn't have been made. A little or no comedy film of the comedy genre. If u like the Hangover I & II,u will definitely hate this one. I honestly didn't laugh even once until after the conclusion. Even then, a few minor chuckles at best and the after credits stuff is mildly amusing. This was a very strange way to end a trilogy that started with what I found to be comedy gold. The story advanced pretty well, with no actual "Hangover" this time.
"The Hangover 3" is easily the worst installment of the three, and a film that should've absolved the makers of making the scummy sequel to the fine first. For me, it was nothing more than a wearisome end to a franchise that could've been so much more.
Drive (2011)
Nothing Extraordinary....!!!
An average movie, nothing you haven't seen before, can be avoided.
Action sequences are few and far between and the story itself is done completely by the numbers; excavating only stereotypical behaviour and gratuitous violence from the flimsily drawn out characters. Think of a Tarantino movie you liked, then strip away the interesting characters, the music, the daring plot and sharp dialog. What is left is good cinematography and an incredibly cool choice of font for the end credits.
There's no shortage of great performers in this movie, and they're mostly wasted. Ron Perlman is so awesomely menacing! And so completely under-written! And what's there is clichéd! God, what were these people thinking? Bryan Cranston has a supporting role as Gosling's partner/boss. A huge opportunity is wasted when his character's interest in the stolen money is just casually discarded. That might have actually GONE somewhere. As a "Breaking Bad" fan, I know just how good he can be, but the writing here is nowhere near as good, and his character, as well, is left adrift.
First the good: Drive is cast with excellent actors. Now for the bad. Based on this picture you would not know that most of the cast could act at all. Gosling's performance makes wooden seem lifelike. This must be due to direction because Gosling has been in several recent pictures and has acted up a storm in all of them. Gosling, Mulligan, Cranston, Brooks, and Hendricks are all interesting, accomplished actors. My question is: how did they get sucked into this horrible picture? Either the script that was shot was different from the script they read, or they had guns pointed at their heads.
Dead Mary (2007)
If u want to watch a horror movie.plz avoid this one.
The attempt of the director to make a horror movie lies flat on the ground. The ghost or horror element appears only for 2 very short instant,in fact the poster is more horrifying than the movie.
The central premise is so vague and ill-defined that it ends up making less sense as time goes on.In the movie it constantly needs to fade to black in order to jump from one character to another. For a film that supposedly takes place over the course of a night, this is not only unnecessary but serves to deflate the dramatic tension.
"Dead Mary" is a below mediocre movie. The urban legend of Bloody Mary that was brilliantly explored in "Candyman" in the 90's, now is used in a rip-off of "Evil Dead". There are many movies with "a group of friends that goes to a cabin in the woods and faces evil", like for example "Cabin Fever", which works. But "Dead Mary" is awful, with a boring beginning, a messy story where "Dead Mary" never shows up, and a ridiculous conclusion.
This movie was a disappointment on several different levels. As we first start in it's obviously going to be yet another horror movie about beastly and possibly a couple of decent young people heading out to do stupid things in the woods and on that note it played through.
