Great story lines
27 September 2010
I love this show. The acting is good, the characters are engaging, and the stories are fun. The hype was it's a combination of National Treasure and Indiana Jones. I agree, but also throw in a bit of Warehouse 13.

Henry, Maggie and Jasper are the 3 main characters. Henry is learning to live in the US after growing up abroad with his anthropologist parents - he's adapting to civilization. Maggie is the brilliant, female of the group - logical, analytical - occasionally we get to her her show a wild side (the party planner and karaoke in "Speedle- mania" I hope there is a season 2 for this show. was great. Jasper (Henry's cousin and host) is the smart kid, working the system to get into Yale -I love it when he goes off to tutor his Math teacher.

I am hoping for a season 2 to this entertaining show.

Thoroughly entertaining, beautifully filmed, not for purists

If you a purist, don't waste your time - otherwise, hold onto your hat and enjoy the adventure. I loved the Stewart Granger/Deborah Kerr version - I've seen it dozens of times, but this film is every bit as good, only different. I won't detail the differences because it would spoil the film. Also, it is a pleasure to see Alison Doody again (I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan), Patrick Swayze is good as Quatermain, and the supporting cast is superb. I find the quality of the supporting cast one of the trademarks of a Hallmark Production and this film was no exception. The cinematography is splendid and the score is perfect. If you are looking for entertainment, you won't be disappointed.
