Never gets old
29 May 2006
Never Ending Story came out when I was 2 years old. I've never grown tired of it since! Even now when I watch it at almost 24, I'm completely lost in Atreyu's quest to stop the Nothing and save Fantasia, bringing along with him the human boy Bastian.

It's a magical adventure, bringing weird and wonderful characters like Falkor the luck dragon, Night Hop, Teeny Weeny,Engywook and Urgl into the mix. A set of characters that you find yourself falling in love with.

Funny and exciting, a tale of dreams, hope and faith. A lesson that only Never Ending Story could teach.

You hafta adore this film!

Bones rocks!
28 April 2006
The first obvious appeal was the fact that Mr David Boreanaz was one of the lead characters, but upon watching the first episode I realised that the show is really cool on its own. Also, has one hell of a kick butt leading lady.

The splice of humour and seriousness is the right kind of mix for me, and the humour is nice and dry which is the best kind! The characters are evolving very well as you get to know them more and more each episode.

I've never missed an episode, I think Bones is a great show, great first season with lots of room to keep on going.

A unique, emotive film
16 June 2005
This film puts a unique slant on an old subject matter. The underlying tones and themes are impressive and emotive. Instantly, you are sucked into the lives of the 3 main cast members, bonding with each of them quickly. They are all individual, yet extremely similar at the same time. The lesson they have to teach you is one that shoots straight into you, and you just cannot look away or deny it. Everything the movie has to offer is exceptional, the writing, the directing and most certainly the acting. Piper Perabo especially. She holds you in the palm of her hand, taking you through highs, lows, love and pain. Don't get this film confused with some 'lesbian chick flick'. The characters and situations are real, potent and memorable.
