El crucero (2006)
Marty
Short documentary by Juan Carlos Rulfo(Del Olvido al no me Acuerdo, En el Hoyo, ¡De Panzazo!) in collaboration with the government of the Distrito Federal, in less than 5 minutes shows us the life of a man police cruiser in Mexico City, who over a working day we talk of problems you have with the public that does not respect the authorities, but we also talk to their satisfaction, besides opening the doors of his house, to show that leading a normal life. Good work by Juan Carlos Rulfo, who once again shows its commitment to Mexican society, how ever his father had the writer Juan Rulfo(El Llano en Llamas and Pedro Páramo).
Siete pecados (1959)
Marty
The story begins by introducing us to seven models, who throughout the film we will see their stories, each representing one of the deadly sins (lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride). Mexican film ahead of its time by touching the subject (remember David Fincher Sevens 1995), however, leaves the viewer wanting to see best punishment for these sins. The Director José Díaz Morales, keeps the viewer thinking that sin represents each of the models and what will be the end for each. The film features great performances from Lilia del Valle, Emilia Guiu, Luz Maria Aguilar and the big star of Mexican cinema Andrea Palma.
