Awful movie with many intentional inaccuracies

This will not be long. I am neither a liberal or conservative. This movie had weak arguments against everything it was trying to disprove or argue about.

If D'Souza can't even understand the concept of the term America existing before the United States appropriated it, then how can we support his arguments? Saying that Columbus never landed in America...idiocy!

He gives One example of a black woman who made it and suddenly we're to believe all is well with blacks in this country. He never goes into the social/economic reasons why many of them still can't succeed.

Mr. Ted Cruz (Cuban lobby, Tea Party) giving us a lesson on Texas history: "they just wanted their freedom." As if it wasn't planned from the beginning to take over the lands and bring slavery to Texas. Are we really this stupid?

One fat "mexican-american" saying if he were in Mexico he'd be extorted. I guess there is no way to make it there.

One example of a hamburger business not ripping you off is a poor attempt at convincing you that big business is NOT ripping you off. What if instead he gave an example using Pfizer instead?

Overall it's just horrible excuses from someone who's just happy he doesn't have to live in India at the moment.

Yes, a waste of time, but goodness that Yancy Mendia girl is cute. Even cuter than Eva. The most ridiculous part of it is the inclusion of Edith Gonzalez in it. She's a big time soap star, so I was quite surprised at her appearance in this. Her accent is quite apparent. Oh, and I also liked that the heroine drove a Nissan 240 in the film. Lol. I'm trying to stretch out this comment because IMDb will not let me post this unless it's at least ten lines long. I don't get it. So I will just write, write and write until it allows me to post this ridiculousness. OK, also, this is the only film where the girl looks cuter in a goofy dress than in her "sexy" garb.

disturbing movie

I watched this when I was way too young. I was in elementary school. The fact that some of these parents sold their daughters into this slavery/prostitution ring makes it that much more horrible. Much of the merit in the film making is that the acting is not very stylized. That makes it seem much more real. It seems to me that Mexican cinema during the 1970s was fertile ground for films that showed the darker side of Mexican society. A trend that seems to have returned again to haunt us, as every Mexican film makter seems to only want to show the troubled side of Mexican life. I place this movie in the category of movies that bother me, but that I'd still recommend for viewing. I was also born in Leon, Gto, very close to where the Poquianchis were based.

one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Perhaps if I were 12 I'd want to see this movie more than once. Action movies seem to be at a real low point as of late. Half the time I couldn't even look at the screen cause of the barnacled sea creatures up there were just ugly. Wow I wish I hadn't gone to see this movie. How many times can you watch a movie where the skinny girl who couldn't tear open an envelope beats up on and actually kills bad guys? This has been done to the point where I'm not rooting for them anyone, but rather for her to be killed off or something. There are so many holes in the story that are overlooked by its fans simply because they get more special effects to distract them. I think I'll just stop here as I'm more than sure that all of these fans of this poor excuse to ruin the Pirate ride at Disneyland will be saying how great of a movie it is. Yeah sure, just look back at the Lord of the Rings movies to realize that no one will care in a few years.
